Costa Coffee in Winchester

Consistently the best costa branch. Always make a great cortqdo and always friendly. Every costa should be the same standard as thi one.

Visited for 1st time on Thursday 27th June 2024 to break journey from Dorset to Derby. Parked ok and got blue badge space. Long queue and got drinks ok but had no bread for toast or teacakes at 11.18 which was disappointing. Tables were not cleared very quickly.

Super speedy service for someone who is on the go and in a hurry. Thank you.

Stopped on the long way home, staff friendly enough but were unaware if they did gluten free foods. Only what was on display which was a total of zero options For Costa this is very poor.

Excellent staff working in shockingly hot conditions as aircon not working. They remained professional despite alot of incredibly rude customers. Lovely cake and coffee.

We got some cold drinks from here due to McDonald's opposite didn't have cold drinks available. I had the chocolate fudge brownie frappe which was really nice and would have it again. Overall the place seemed clean, drinks were good, usual Costa quality

Disappointing flat whites. Too much milk and way too hot - no flavour. More like a couple of unpleasant lattes. Staff were nice though.

Tables clean and tidy but skirting boards and windows dusty with dead flies. Not alot of food on offer no toast which is what I came for. Quite busy 2 ladies serving whilst 2 are sat on laptops. Lady serving was quite rude especially in her reply to having no toast and I didn't receive the friendly hello other customers were receiving. Not given butter for my croissants had to ask and my partner's toasty not delivered to table,like all other cooked food just yelling that it's ready. Not really impressed with this place

A bit rubbish. Stopped off for a flat white during a trip and had one person doing everything. As a result I had a rushed coffee that tasted mostly milk. Unimpressed for what they charge.

Costa Coffee-A34 Service Station. Lots of staff, large restaurant area, nice yummy drinks, great service!

Don't even try to log on to WiFi here as advertised at these services they gather your information for free Internet and then redirected to sign in again. Thereby, they have all your information and you never connect to Internet and the staff are no help when asked all I got was 'don't know'...useless...

We popped in for a light snack; coffees, bacon sarnie and mushroom toastie. £14.56. Friendly service, clean tables and ok value, bearing in mind the busy A34 services location. Everything's on the level, although there are couple of steps up to the main services building. Average toilets, plus a small WH Smith and an ok McDonalds.

What a strange place. We arrived at Costa coffee. The guy that was 'supposed' to be serving, just asked me to 'wait a minute' Whilst I stood there waiting, he carried on decorating a drink! He had melted chocolate in a saucer and carried on decorating the drink with this chocolate. He had made a picture of 2 tree's and then proceeded to ask his assistant and myself what we thought. He then cleared it all away and got around to asking what I would like. So the drink wasn't even for a customer. I ordered to medium lattes. Unfortunately they were warm not hot so I asked for some hot water and explained that the drinks were not hot. He then proceeded to give me a lecture on the drinks being heated to 65 degrees etc and said "If you wanted them hotter than that you should have asked" He then heated the drinks again and I walked away feeling quite irritated at the whole stupid experience

Just about to close but said we were ok. Coffees and blueberry muffins. Good. Clearing up as we finished but did not bother us. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will probably go again

A busy branch on these services which are always busy. Service is slow, but coffee is good. Good selection of snacks.

I experienced the worst example of customer service from someone wearing a badge with “manager” in their title that I can remember in many years. She desperately needs to be sent on a customer service course. After asking what types of iced coffees were available (I hadn’t had one before) we were dismissively told to look at the board above our heads. Then the huffing and puffing that ensued when I offered a Guernsey Banknote for payment was extraordinary. The decaf mocha Frostino didn’t seem to taste of coffee at all, just chocolate (was the coffee shot forgotten?). My coffee Frostino was really good. The breakfasts wrap was average. There was something about the chopped up egg that didn’t quite work and the wrap component was a bit thick. Other equivalents are so much better. The toasted cheese and bacon type croque Monsieur was pretty good.

Located close to the Days Inn made it easy quick in and out for morning coffee. Coffee is good and has other goodies for a quick grab & go.

Good place to stop off the A34 southbound for a coffee and cake and the staff are very friendly, nice seating.

Called into here for a quick coffee break en-route to visiting family. Usual standard Costa quality coffee & again as usual more attention needs to be given to tidying the tables as most were piled high with used cups & plates.

Stopped here just after 7 on a Monday evening to find it closed Supposed to be services! Still very busy

This is a good coffee shop at the Sutton Scotney service station. The staff are friendly and helpful, seating is comfortable and not crowded. Handy place for a break from driving.

We had breakfast in this Costa while staying at the Days Inn on the Service Station. Quality is always high at Costa and the choice is good. Ok Costa is not as cheep as some places but you get it back in the quality - and you can read the news paper off the rack!
