The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Never knew this was here, but then I haven't been round that part of the Marina for a long time 💯 Good portions & lovely in every way. There with a table of female friends

We are two friends who go for Sunday lunch every few weeks & try to find a new venue each time. The Papermakers Arms is one the Wrinkly Munchers will definitely visit again. Great, peaceful country atmosphere, friendly & attentive staff without being pushy. Reasonably priced & excellent food. We chose the roast beef and the beef bourguignon; both of which were delicious & perfectly presented. Apple crumble to follow was perfect. Not a huge menu (which I think is a plus as it indicates freshly prepared rather than microwave reheat) but good choice of locally sourced & seasonal food.

I would give 0 stars to the rude woman who served me this afternoon if I could. She was disgusting unapproachable and rude. Shame as I’m a regular and will not return due to this RUDE person.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch with good wine to match. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely recommend a visit

Great space, albeit small. Connor was great, made the drinks perfectly, good food suggestions too! Really clean, tidy shop.

Lovely lunch, the highlight was the pork ribs. I have special dietry needs and these werecatered for without any fuss. Food was good and hot, and tasted great. Place has a nice feel, and everything spotless...including the loos, which is rare nower days. Nice touches of linen napkins and relaxed atmospere. Staff excellent, friendly and efficent. Wll be back next week with my family for a big birthday celebration.

Was cleaner than on previous visits

I love Nero’s coffee and food, I prefer sitting at Nero even though there are other coffee shops around: Good price for quality. I’ve been in the uk for 18 years, visiting Nero for 18 years too! That said, I won’t be visiting this one, ever!!! My latest visit was with my partner and kid. My partner ordered the coffee and food and left(took their take away with them) and I stayed to sit. I was planning to leave too but rain started to pour more, so I decided to eat the food inside. When I asked for tissues, the counter lady spat at me saying I paid for take away! In an empty café nevertheless! To the lady at the counter: Where are your manners? Can’t you kindly ask and tell me my partner paid for takeaway for everyone that I might need to pay the difference?!!! I was coming to your cafe at least 3 times a week, I always pay “sit in” price and how big of a deal it is if it’s paid take away without me knowing?!!!

Standard of fresh food has slipped a bit.

Lively pub, bar games, live music, open till late

Poor. One of worse pubs I've visited in a while. London Pride was nearest they got to an Ipa, and it was absolutely awful, like it was off. Won't go back.

I’ve have been to the Spice Merchant several times for drinks, a takeaway and for a meals in the restaurant. I am not usually the sort of person to write reviews however after my visit this evening I felt compelled to do so. As always there is a very nice welcome which happened to be by the manager Ashlyn today. My experience is always very consistent and professional from all of the staff which is all credit from the Manager. The food is amazing definitely worth a visit on all counts.

Great service during a super busy period of the year. The staff were super attentive and excellent with myself and my family. The new manager was excellent along with the new bar staff considering the busy time of year. The food was amazing and excelled all expectations.

Our family had the Sunday roast, pork, beef and lamb and they were all excellent!! The best roast ive had in ages…… a must go to!

A nice welcome here today when we arrived for our Sunday lunch. Staff polite & friendly. Service very good. Food nicely presented & tasty. Really enjoyed it & would recommend. Only thing that would have made it perfect was to be a little warmer in the restaurant.😉
