Although the coffee and the staff are fine, for goodness sake get some of the very old, worn out and very dirty looking seating replaced please. Some of it is years past it's use by date and looks disgusting. Just a few hundred pounds might solve it! Surely Costa can afford that!

Good Costa that serves a huge area so is popular with tradesmen in the early morning.

A member of my group became unwell at closing time. We had to call an ambulace.The 2 ladies were absolutely fantastic. They were 100% so kind to us all especially as we had a child with us.what amazing kind people they are. They wouldn't have got home for 2 plus hours after closing. Costa you have lovely staff.

Staff really nice, good place to have a Costa whether you're visiting or driving through.

All the staff are amazing! They are always welcoming and say hello to customers, they have recently employed a new manager, but I'm yet to see him actually do anything.

Only popped in for 2 hot drinks, very pleased we didn't order any food. Floor,tables and chairs were all disgusting. The staff were more intent on talking to there friends then serve or clean. Had to have take away cups, just as well. Both toilets were locked as apparently they were both blocked solid. Whole place needs a deep clean. Never go to that one again.

Firstly, its the dirtiest coffee shop I've ever stepped foot in. The staff in there are very rude and possess zero customer service. Coffee was equally as disappointing. Not that you expect much from Costa, but wow don't bother going in there unless you want a terrible coffee and experience.

Very nice thank you and my youngest grandson loved watching out of the window as life went by.

We popped into Costa, Headcorn, yesterday as were limited for time and wanted a quick coffee and something to eat. We've been there before, but haven't been in a while because we found it grubby and uninspiring. It hasn't changed! The food is very limited in choice. There were six customers, including us. There were crumbs under all the tables where we chose to sit. The low coffee table in the window was filthy - bits of food, and sticky marks all over it. In general, the whole area looked dirty and uninviting. There was a sign placed on the floor saying "Cleaning in Progress", but no evidence of any cleaning taking place. I visited the unisex toilet for the disabled and there was no lid on the toilet. The soap dispenser was empty and virtually coming away from the wall. I reported this to one of the young ladies behind the counter. If this is an example of Costa coffee restaurants in general, then I won't be returning in a hurry - even though I have a Costa loyalty card. We could have gone to one of the other eateries in Headcorn and got a better quality, made to order, sandwich for less money but as I said before we were limited on time so chose Costa. If you have unlimited time, don't go to Costa - go to one of the other coffee shops in Headcorn.

Worth a visit ☺ Michael and Jake were super hospitable, very sympathetic, positive and reassuring towards me while I cried about my puppy who was in surgery at the nearby vets and made me a lovely latte which as all coffee lovers know, always makes any situation a little easier to cope with. The place was clean bright welcoming and tidy and I will definitely be back again another day. (just in case the team get to see this, Puppy is doing well and on her way to a full recovery all being well.) Thanks for being such superstars, see you all again soon ☕ ☺

Sometimes this Costa can be nice , but at other times it can be disappointing. Today I went and once again there was barely any stock. This is quite a regular occurrence in this store. I really fancied trying the new autumn Maple iced latte and I’m sorry to say I won’t be purchasing again. In all honestly I think it was ruined and overpowered by the amount of syrup put into the drink, it was so sweet and sickly. On this occasion the service was really slow and the order I walked away with didn’t make the wait worth it. The toasty was overcooked on one side, but not cooked on the other, and the panini was cooked too much on the outside, but the centre was still raw/mushy. Unfortunately on this occasion I opted for takeaway so I didn’t realise this until I had left the shop. I think maybe some regular training on the grill machine and how to make specialty drinks would be beneficial. I’m not normally one to moan. But a few times it’s been really crappy and mostly I do think it is heavily dependent on the staff that are in there at the time, although I do believe it isn’t their fault about the lack of stock. It’s not cheap, therefore a certain standard should be upheld. I never experience this in any other Costa’s, I think maybe this one gets neglected due to it being out of the way in Headcorn. It’s a shame because it’s a great amenity to have. It always has such a chilled atmosphere in the seating area which I love, but what’s the point it’s running half heartedly. That’s probably why its quiet.

10:00am on a Sunday morning and bustling, excellent staff and of course coffee. Easy free parking if popping in or stopping longer to sit and watch the world go by on their street tables.

Very relaxed coffee and lunch with our young grandson. We will go again.

Three visits recently. 2 cups of coffee tipped away as undrinkabke, and one lukewarm. The third visit the tills weren’t working so nothing available. Anyone ever heard of cash sales? Bog standard Goldex franchise going the same way as all their other Costa outlets. No enthusiasm amongst staff, high staff turnover, filthy premises.

Resturant needs a goodclean floor was filthy and stained at 9am. Start the day clean! Coffee prep area not wiped down. Milk left out, not tidied up. Staff were not very attentive. They weren't that busy. Wouldn't go there again!

Probably the worst one I've been to! The newly cleaned cups had tea stains after five swaps I managed to get a clean one! Also the furniture had stains and mark's on them could definitely do with a deep clean and maybe a new dishwasher!!

Possibility the worse coffee I have had, Also, get a cleaner for the toilets.

We went to the Costa coffee shop in Headcorn for coffee and a snack. The premises was so dirty that we decided not to eat there. The lavatories (both uni-sex) were filthy with urine flooding all over the floor, no paper towels for drying hands and no lavatory paper. So the facilities are obviously not checked regularly or this would have been noticed. Despite the shop being almost empty, the tables were dirty and covered in crumbs and the residue of the previous occupants' food and drink. Instead of cleaning the tables staff were gathered behind the counter chatting with each other. The seats of the chairs are stained and grubby. Surely they should have the wit to go over them with an upholstery cleaner to remove the dirt and stains? There is obviously no effective Manager overseeing the running of this coffee shop! WAKE UP COSTA!

Poor customer service! Lady, who claimed to be a manager, had terrible customer service. We were almost yelled at when we tried to have a conversation with her. Never again!

This Costa coffee shop was one of the worst that I have visited. The fabric on the chairs was so dirty, moved tables twice but no difference. Some of the chairs had wooden arms, the dust and crumbles that were on them looked like they hadn't been cleaned for months. Asked for a toasted tea cake and was asked if I wanted it warmed,!!!!!!! Say no more.

Good coffee and polite service, but from overworked staff. The franchisee needs to employ more staff, especially to cover peak times. A 35min que for 5 customers has put us off for the time being

Surprised by how shabby and dirty Headcorn's Costa Coffee was. Staff seemed disinterested. Disabled loo was filthy & required repairs. Main cafe seating was shabby and in some cases stained. Won't be returning anytime soon. Someone in CC management needs to take a firm grip of this place! 😒

I am writing another review on this costa It is a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat the only let down is school kids just coming in using the toilets and just sitting inside without buying anything it did all stop in the past when Daisy was the manager of this store but now she has left its goin back to the same rowdy situation can somebody stop this from happening and make sure these children stay outside to wait for there school bus to turn up

Nice chain coffee shop in Headcorn village. Good selection of hot and cold food and drink. Food stock does get low in the afternoon, but always convenient when you want to grab something quick, especially if the kids want to go to the park just round the corner!

Nice Costa. Not too busy and great coffee and snacks - all of your Costa favorites - except no Panettone! Really pleasing they have more tables outside for sunny days. Shame it's not dog friendly.

Don't bother. Three of them standing round the till, not one of them would actually serve me. I asked a few times. The one actually behind the till couldn't have ignored me harder if she tried. I eventually gave up. What an awful attitude. There are another two cafes in Headcorn which are lovely - one behind Sainsbury's, one a few doors down on the high street. Go to one of those instead.

My Americano was lovely and hot. Just the way I like it.

A couple of coffee's and cake's in a relaxed atmosphere. Tables cleaned as customers leave giving plenty of room for new customers. Everyone wearing masks and a perspex screen at the counter doesn't help with the ordering process but it's something we have to do.

The coffee at Costa Coffee in Headcorn is up to the usual good tasting standard of Costa coffee. Not only that but you can feel very safe getting your tajkeaway coffee here as the establishment is Covid safe; masks must be worn, hand sanitiser is available, the floor is marked for social distancing and a one way system is in operation.

If you want to venture out for a good cup of take-away coffee, then look no further than Costa Coffee in Headcorn. They have done everything they can to make it as Covid safe as possible. Masks must be worn by both staff and customers, hand sanitiser is available as you walk in and the floor is marked to show both social distancing and the one-way system. On top of that, the coffee is also very good.HER

Lots of customers with no Masks on , been like this for months now especially in morning , still happening, ludicrous in tier 4 ...I now go to Foodies or Bakers , who both insist on all customers wearing masks.

This is the place for a good cup of coffee in a Covid safe environment. Served by friendly staff, the coffee was up to Costa's usual good standards (with variants available for dietary needs) and in a Covid safe environment. There is a clearly marked one-way system, hand sanitiser is available, social distancing is marked and scrrens protect both the customer and the staff. Felt very safe.

We regularly go here (me, wife and our 3 girls). The staff are always friendly and kind, the service speedy, and there is almost always plenty of room to sit down. I've only had one dudd coffee in 5 years... only one... so no I didn't complain! Some of these negative reviews are hilarious - get real people. Damn good coffee shop. Thanks to all the lovely staff :-)

Normal costa, normal coffee. Absurd service. Bloke on the till tries telling me how the extra shot of coffee will change the taste. Dude, I know how I like my coffee I drink it a lot - 99% of the time at costa. The woman making coffee can only operate 1 filter at a time so an agonising wait for everyone to be served. These 2 clearly do not have a good working relationship either.

Very friendly place to meet with family and friends

We popped in here on Sunday for a birthday treat for our grand daughter. The coffee and hot chocolate were very good as were the cakes! Will try the hot food next time.

This is a nicely fitted out Costa in the pleasant town of Headcorn, set within the varied High Street. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was enough quiet that I could easily work on the laptop while preparing for a meeting. Rather let down though that the branch was not honouring the offers advertised by Costa Coffee in their radio campaigns. This is a disappointment - if they want to take the benefits of the big brand, then they should deliver the full experience including offers that go with the brand. Alternatively, give up the franchise and become an independent. It is not fair to try to have it both ways, so only half of what is expected from a Costa Coffee.

We love coming into Costa Coffee where there is plenty of tables and space for buggies wheelchairs and families. The menu is always full of choices for a tasty snack to go with the many drinks on offer. Nice and light with a good view out onto the passing scene of the High Street. Well done Costa!

Bad atmosphere in here, the staff just don't seem like they want to be there. I asked to change up a £20 for two tens while i was there and they refused, so i bought a bottle of water and used that same £20 to get the change and they gave us change? Seems as though they don't read situations and use common sense. Don't engage and upsell relevant to order.

Unless Costa has almost 50% VAT added on top of the paid price (they don't) they overcharged me pretty badly. Some of the staff definitely seem better than others but one bad staff member can ruin the entire feel for a place.
