The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

I have just had the best Firm's Christmas lunch for years. The food was terrific; I had a Dirty Martini Prawn Cocktail, wow! A delicious Baked Salmon fillet and then an After Eight Cheesecake to die for! Their Christmas menu was amazing and afterwards I didn't hear anything but praise for the food and for Len and his staff from all 22 of us.

Just dropped in for a drink. Lovely atmosphere and friendly crowd.

Shocking experience joke of a landlady and her husband very rude got one big mouth of the pair of em they argued with us at our gramps wake because a family dog was attacked twice so we reacted ofc and they didn’t want to hear our side and just wanted to back up there locals!! landlady needs to grow up at her big age it’s a joke of a pub would not recommend it to anyone food tasted like the rubber off me shoes the only way the landlords calmed down was when there daughter had to come and drag them in what a joke would’ve thought it would be the other way round and this day and age

Last night we had a family Christmas gathering at the Bull. 17 of us. We chose off the 3 course Christmas menu and pre-ordered. Nothing was too much bother for Leo and his team. We had a vegan, vegetarians and a fussy child (mine), whose needs were all catered for. The food was tasty, plentiful and all came out hot and as ordered. The Bull is our local, but not for the rest of the party who were all for very happy with the food and service. Some of them stayed in the rooms too and were all very happy the next morning. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome from Leo and the staff at The Bull.

We have visited the Smugglers for many years in its various forms. We hadn't visited for a while but made a return visit for lunch. The food was very good, the setting warm and comfortable. The service was exceptional, Debby our waitress was very friendly and efficient, we will certainly return in the future.

Nice place for a cheap pint, and something to eat. Plenty of seats over two floors . Good efficient table service using the app.

I booked 2 nights absolutely discussed with the place cost me 159 for two nights 3 options on the menu no draught beer no wine range or bottled beer no air con does not say this on the website will never stay in a premier inn again if this is what there like totally let down and the food looked like it was from Iceland do not recommend this place at all

Love this place. So friendly with good food at good prices.

We had a large group booking here on a day one of the chefs had called in sick. Service was slow (2 hrs before mains were served-and not all the group had starters!) the children's meals also took 2 hours to appear which meant that they were getting a bit ratty (age 2,5,7&10). Some food was excessively salty commented by more than one member of the group. The pub itself was lovely and had a nice cosy atmosphere although the menu was on the more expensive side. We should really have been told a chef was off ill at the beginning of the booking but this was only shared at the end. If we had not been told this we would have only given 1 star as the service was appalling.

It was a group Christmas dinner, no decorations or crackers. Saved by good size portions.

Another pretty standard spoons. No seating out the front, but there is a little alcove further down the street towards Portsmouth with some tables and chairs. Bar down the left hand side this time as you enter with the usual array of seating throughout the pub. The closer you get to the back of the pub, the closer the seating seemed to get, but that might be my old brain. I didn't have food here, but everything that went by looked the standard spoons fare. The Guinness was excellent.

The friendliest Wetherspoons we have been to and we have been to kits all over the country. The food is cheaper than our local 'spoons and much better in taste and presentation.

Food was superb and this was our second visit. All freshly cooked and a lovely choice on the menu. One of the best places to eat in the area . The place also has beautiful decor and ambience.

Honestly I cant believe how bad this place was. I feel like I got deceived by their claim to be the oldest coffee house and got caught in a tourist trap. I doubt any locals actually visit. I ordered a ciabatta served with salad and tortilla chips on the side. The salad in question was literally two leaves with no dressing whatsoever and the tortilla chips were stale. For the price, its an absolute joke. The ingredients tasted so cheap, like they couldnt care less about what they were serving... It just feels greedy, like theyre only out to take your money without giving anything decent in return.
