My family and I had a meal and a few drinks here on a Friday evening, we all had different meals and they were all excellent, lovely atmosphere and great service.

Went here today for Sunday lunch, first time going to the pub. Atmosphere was lovely, staff were fantastic and the food was top class! Could not recommend enough and will definitely be back. Had the cod wrapped in nori starter which was beautiful and the roast beef brisket main which I’d happily say was one of the best roast meals I’ve had 👍🏻 5 ⭐️

Lovely village pub with great food, located just round the corner from the church. Little on the expensive side but found a day when they were doing 2 for 1 on mains so excellent value at that price. Most mains were between £16-18 with stakes £28-35.

We attended a christening buffet here and it was great. Buffet and service was spot on. Would recommend it.

Ate there yesterday. Steak & pint £17.50. Very good Steak & meal. Great atmosphere there. Downside, free pint was an ale, cider or lager. I drink Guinness. Offered to pay extra, told no, so bought my Guinness seperately thus paying more. Point....offering a Guinness drinker the other choices, is like giving a gammon meal when a Fillet Steak is ordered. As I said, food was really good.....but

We booked a table for 5 for my daughter's Masters results, and arrived to find the place almost full. However what we didn't realise was they were having a quiz night. We were asked if we would like to join, But politely declined. After 5 mins the Landlord approached us and asked if we would prefer to go upstairs to the restaurant. It was closed, but he opened it up just for us and provided a waitress for us. Thank you so much for your understanding. The Landlord and staff made us totally at ease and we're so attentive. They made us feel like royalty. Many thanks for a great night. The food was delicious 😋👍

We were seated straight away even though we had arrived a bit early and were served a lovely meal. To add to the enjoyment, it was a buy one get one free deal!

A birthday walk and celebration for a friend, everyone's food looked fabulous, although two of us had fish n chips, the fish was overcooked and dry, such a shame, bad choice on our part, but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their, steak, burgers and halloumi. Service was very good and staff were very attentive.

After reading the reviews, myself and a group of friends attended for a Sunday lunch , and we can honestly say that the meal was delicious and the service was incredible and the young lady "Holly" done a excellent job looking after us I would highly recommend a visit

Lovely local gastro pub. We have been here on a few separate occasions now and always had a good experience with great food and lovely welcoming staff. One note is that dogs are welcome inside but is still clean. otherwise a great place to get some food.

Too many dishes have curry in them and a nice evening was ruined by having to listen to a barking dog for the 2 and half hours we were there. The manager should have asked the woman to leave!

This was the first time I have been there. The staff were lovely, the ambiance good and the menu interesting and fairly priced.

Great little pub nicely decorated. Very tasty menu reasonably priced and a good selection of beers, staff were helpful and attentive. It's also dog friendly which is helpful after a walk on the beach..

Smashing place,staff very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. One fault it was very cold upstairs there was no way to stop the cold air coming upstairs from the front door. They need a partition and a door at the top of the stairs.

Nice venue on the way into / out of Sully. Parking opposite is very hand. Modern and clean interior. Menu quite good, prices a little high. Food has been good on several occasions. You can book online to avoid disappointment. Recommend for Sunday lunch. Two courses are available for £22 and three courses for £24.50. Staff very friendly.

Had a really excellent Sunday lunch with friends .Really delicious .The beef was amazing and all veg beautifully cooked . Desserts gorgeous too ! Fab cocktails... Decor is tasteful and the bonus its dog friendly. Friendly professional staff... Will be returning soon.

Very pleasant evening. A broad enough menu to meet the conservative elderly gentleman in our party and interest us somewhat more intrepid. The tasty camembert starter came with a leek "ganoush" which was a slightly silly name for a not overly exciting purée. Otherwise, the smoked salmon starter was good and the burger, chicken breast and sea bass all went down well. A friendly atmosphere

The tomahawk steak 🥩 30 Oz was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Very beefy. The Nachos were not good at all! Were they really Nachos? I don't think so. But everything else was spot on! Beat miller and carter ten fold!

Lovely food but a bit on the expensive side for what you get. Access up a set of steps and parking across a road.. Didnt think it suitable for wheelchair access. Pleasant inside.

Went for Sunday lunch. Not a huge choice but what they did was fab. Had lamb roast dinner,plenty of meat, came with roast and boiled potatoes and vegetables on the side. Staff really friendly and helpful.Always around but not in your face. Would highly recommend it.

The worsted meal I have ever had. The beef was impossible to eat, the roast potatoes were dreadful, vegetables were not hot. Not enough staff to clear the tables and a long wait for service. Going again NO NO even if it was FREE

Disappointing menu. More pub lunch than restaurant. Issues with both my starter and main course. However, issues were resolved by the staff quickly and cannot fault the service. Dessert was the highlight.

New name and new management now, they are doing a good job, and the place is nicely decorated, good polite staff, nice food.

No, I'm not the newsreader! The mixed reviews already posted are probably appropriate because I've seen a variety of responses from customers while I've been sitting here with a pot of tea and some scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. One couple who were here before me have twice pointed out that they've been waiting a long time for part of their order. Meanwhile, my food has arrived, I've finished it, and they're still waiting. My scrambled eggs (over cooked for my likings, though that's personal taste, with too much toast and missing the promised Hollandaise sauce) arrived within 4-5 minutes but my pot of tea took 15 and when it arrived it was big enough for the Household Cavalry. Apparently they've run out of "normal" sized tea pots! The waiting staff are running around like mad and I've heard them apologise to at least three other tables. Admittedly, for 11am it's very busy here with virtually every table occupied. Unfortunately that demonstrates a lack of planning - it would appear the system can't cope. Surely, if you're going to pack a particular number of tables into your new restaurant, you first make sure you can serve them all. On the flip side, another table has arrived, ordered and been served promptly and seem quite satisfied. Hence the mixed reviews, I guess. These are the same sort of comments as were posted when the place first opened a few weeks ago. I wonder how long problems are considered "teething" and when they become established. A previous reviewer has admittted to knowing the owners. I do too, though maybe not so well. I'd really like to see this place turn into a roaring success, but it's not there yet. We've also booked for dinner next week. Note to self: "Keep an open mind, Fatty, it will be fine!"

Decor nice very light and airy food good when given wot you ordered cutlery had to be changed dirty but worth a try

First visit since it opened and nothing but praise. Food was good and wasn't too expensive. The place has been transformed from when it was the Sully Inn. Will be back.

Was lucky enough to try the dinner and breakfast and it really didn't disappoint . Firstly in its prior incarnations this was a pretty awful pub, it has been transformed into a beautiful setting to enjoy good food and drink. The little touches they have done to the building are just magnificent (the new bar particularly) Drinks there is a nice selection of reasonably priced drinks and a wide range of spirits and cocktails including a decent wine selection At dinner I had the steak blue and it was superb can say more about it delicious and in the morning the breccy is top notch Really a great restraunt I'm super happy it's going to be my new local

Fuimos en una noche tranquila, hermosa sopa con pan casero, excelente filete. Pedí verduras frescas y estas estaban hechas a pedido. Preciosa salsa de pimienta hecha en casa.

As a family we thought we would try out sully inn for Sunday lunch as we all live in the village it would be fantastic to have somewhere local to pop along to for lunch on a Sunday

We arrived with friends and went to the bar to order drinks, but were asked if we were their for food, and when we said both, we were led to a table by the woman behind the bar to sit down, given a menu and told she'd be back soon to take our order.

A lovely pub in a lovely area but what's going on, Saturday night 7pm, peak trading time and just 5 customers. No food available for what should and could be a great place to eat and drink! A real shame!

Domingo almuerzo - la primera vez que sirve comida bajo la nueva gestión donde empezamos. . . . . . Ninguna organización, comida fría, que parecía que había sido tirado en el plato. Las comidas mal saliendo, corriendo sin comida pronto en servicio. Mal preparados para lo que debería haber sido un evento emocionante convertido en desastres a menos de una hora de comenzar el servicio. No había duda alguna comida servicio etiqueta nos sirvió de una tan jóvenes como 10. . . . . Todo lo que podía salir mal salió mal y no se puede culpar a una curva de aprendizaje, nos dijeron que el nuevo propietario era un chef así que esperábamos algo al menos comestible. Las mesas de la onu - cuando finalmente aclaro postres cena salió los platos estaban todavía en la mesa - no hay habilidades de gestión en absoluto cuando se trata de comida y lo que la gente espera estos días. Una gran fiesta salimos después de esperar dos horas sin ni siquiera tener su arranque. Pasteles de pescado Mini resultó ser la tienda compramos grandes fishcake, paté sabroso ya que vine con pan rock duro al asiento con, la sopa estaba gruesa y ajo y champiñones gloopy - no tiene sabor. La carne era de ternera, pollo y cerdo. Cerdo acabaron pronto en Servicio - carne fue duro y como para los vegetales que nos tiraron en el plato o cocidas, crudas, pero la única cosa que era coherente era que la comida estaba fría. No como este primer día de nervios almuerzo había sido preparado para escuchar a un miembro del personal Tara - No se disculparon y si no quejarse era como si cayeron en oídos sordos. Creo que algunas personas estaban avergonzados de quejarme ya que hubiéramos esperado una eternidad para comida incomible frío y servidos por personas y niños sin modales. tipo vosotros y rápidamente si piensa en quedarse en el pueblo, hoy no que no favorece en absoluto.

Acabamos de regresar de comer el domingo en el hotel Sully Inn. . . . . primer día de servir comida y estoy dispuesta a aceptar problemas de dentición, pero este era mucho más amplia que eso. Soy un visitante de la zona y este era elegido por mi hijo y compañero para un familiar, en parte debido a su reputación, pero el anterior servicio de comida y vino nada cerca de aceptable. Reservamos para 2:00 y finalmente nos sirve nuestro principal campo en 3. 30:00h, dos de nosotros haber pedido el lomo de cerdo que había acabado por 2. 45:00 h. Las entradas llegaron más de 45 minutos después de haberlo pedido. . . . Pan blanco en rodajas. Se sirve con champiñones con ajo en vez de en el 'Rollo francés 'en el menú. Cuando el plato principal llegó finalmente llegó listo chapada con verduras y sólo uno de los cinco estaba bien caliente. . . Las zanahorias." tenía sobre 3 tallos aún conectado, cocidas de Patacas Chirivías eran duras y sin sabor, pudines Yorkshire estaban negras en los bordes y obviamente los individuales de patata asada, y también sabía que mi recalentada, el maíz de la mente no es aceptable para servir verduras con un asado! Al final todos nos fuimos porciones de nuestra comida (no es algo que sucede muy a menudo! ! Y de postre) pasaron a la izquierda tan rápido como pudiera. Un grupo grande que llegamos justo después de nosotros aún estaban esperando por sus entrantes aunque más tarde habían servido de llegadas en el ínterin. Por este tiempo el pollo también tenía salir y dejaron poco después de nosotros a las 4:00 pm.

Mi esposa y yo hemos estado aquí varias veces. El personal del bar siempre son maravillosos y muy servicial. El chef es encantador y la comida siempre gustos increíble. Hemos tenido un buen número de los chefs platos especiales y se puede decir que son hechos y no de un paquete. Mi esposa tenía un curry en una de nuestras visitas y el chef vino a nosotros personalmente a preguntar cómo caliente nos gustaría, ya que están recién hechas, que me pareció que era precioso. Ambiente encantador en el lugar.

Stopped for a quick meal, wasn't impressed at all. Not cheap prices either. Such a shame as love the feature to the place a lovely pub but would only recommend going for a drink

Dado que el nuevo chef, Emma ha sido en la residencia, la comida que se sirve aquí es siempre recién preparado y muy sabroso. Ha sido un buen descubrimiento para nosotros y nos con él sobre una base regular. Emma es el lunes y martes de cada semana, así que no será lo mismo en aquellos días. Muy buena comida a precios razonables.

I'm not the biggest fan of Sunday lunch personally but the lunch here even won me over! The food was fantastic, really taste and full of flavour! A lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff including the manager Keith could not do anymore to make you feel welcome! I would highly recommend the sully inn for a family meal or just a quick pint. You will not be disappointed!

Never ever think about going here for food it is terrible and the staff are quite rude. If I had know that it had a 0 rating on hygiene I would have not gone there myself

Unfriendly atmosphere, out of control drunk (or high) patron throwing furniture around and ripped door off hinges without any intervention from staff, who knew him and seemed to act as if this was normal. Felt uncomfortable and left without even finishing first drink.

Classic pub/restaurant atmosphere. Lovely food, definitely good value for money. The only let down was that the restaurant was quite cold when I visited. Other than that it is a lovely place to have a family meal.

I recently went for lunch at the sully inn, service was amazing and the meals were well above par for pub food prices. Staff very helpful. Will definitely be visiting again. Would recommend to anyone.

The owner , who I caught his name , Keith was very rude and spent most of the time arguing with his girlfriend who spent the whole time we were there sat drunk and abusive at the bar.service was appalling and the food was slopt on a plate and hardly edible , our children were sick for 2 days afterwards. Would not recommend

First visit to this pub in a long time... We both had the gourmet burgers with cheese and homemade chips.. Very well cooked and tasty and great value for money.. Friendly staff and fast service.

We visited this village pub at lunch time and we were served the most amazing, top quality, homemade food we had eaten in a long time. Everything was fresh, piping hot and "REAL" chips to die for! Ken the Chef is a credit to the pub. It has recently been taken over by new owners and has been redecorated to a lovely standard, it is very clean and welcoming. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough to make your visit a good one. Highly recommended if you want a lovley meal made with top quality ingredients. I wish the new owners all the very best in their new venture.
