Me encanta aquí y mientras tantos de mis pubs / restaurantes favoritos están cambiando The Queens es una constante y se siente como un viejo amigo. Kyle y Joe son anfitriones maravillosos y la comida siempre es excelente, muy caliente y como mi mamá solía hacer. No esperes cordon bleu, pero un buen precio. Un montón de opciones y un montón de comida. Estaba preocupado de que pudiera haber cambiado con la toma de control de Morgan, pero aún así brillante. Reserva para la semana que viene. ¡Gracias The Queens!

Great visit to Pontypool harvester today. Stacey helped me get the app so I could use the discount code and our server Amy was just brilliant. 10/10

Omg what a fantastic place, friendly staff, best Sunday roast ever, great atmosphere, and best of all dog friendly.. awesome.

Had great meal tonight at pub ,pre Valentine's. My husband had a delicious cockle starter, and a very substantial gammon meal with onion rings, fresh mushrooms, peas and chips and egg. I had scampi, cooked exactly as I Iike it. A good bottle of Sauvignon blanc. Looking forward to the new Curry night on Wednesday. My sister had Sunday lunch there last Sunday, it was excellent. So good to see the reserved signs be putting

Incredibly rude old lady in the reception which I can only assume works in the building as she seemed to talk to us as if we had trespassed in her manor… The toilets are dreadful, handles on the cisterns are broken, and they smelled horrendous. The bar had no working staff in it for the 15 minutes we were there and when (as you would on a sunny day) followed the signs to the beer garden the rude old lady stopped us and spoke to us in an incredibly rude manner, so we left and found somewhere more inviting instead.

3rd visit, we love it here, staff/venue/food all excellent. Village is lovely to wander round, lots of lovely walks and when you need to stop for a refreshment the pubs are full of friendly locals. Lots of places to visit, very central for so many places

Lot of food for the money, and if you like a carvery as I do then its good. Not as nice as my mothers, but then to be honest who's is ! But yes, I will order again as more meat this time.

Chip as chips, fairly clean, not a bad atmosphere, good selection of beer well worth 3* for a chain pub

Table for 2. Food very poor, over cooked and poorly presented. Nice lady serving but food took ages. Half hour plus for main meal to come out then another half hour waiting for my 6 year old to get a brownie although they did give him spoon to wait with, we couldn’t wait any longer so we left and took him to McDonald’s instead. Over hour and half in restaurant for a poor burger and chips
