I was able to book online for the same evening ( midweek). We were welcomed warmly, and were impressed by the lovely interior of the pub. Although it is a Marston’s pub, the menu was different to the norm. Everything was made in house, and we loved the choices. My husband couldn’t resist a starter ( black pudding fritters), followed by a steak burger and loved both. I had the chilli, which was also delicious. The home made chips were to die for! Altogether a very good meal and evening. We will be back!

Sadly we had to cancel our stay and were unable to attend wedding of very close family members. No food at all (not even a basic breakfast!) no available accommodation nearby or in neighbouring villages. Booking.com information out of date; they even got phone number wrong. Can’t comment on rooms as never got to stay, although they look very dated. For obvious reasons can’t recommend The Red Lion - Llangadog! A family event that we can’t recapture.

Went here for a meal, can't fault it, the service was excellent and good home cooked food. Well priced too. Would return.

The worst service and atmosphere ever threw my food into the sandwich! Did not want to serve as they had already cleaned down, althought it was four in the afternoon and they close at 6 pm. I never write reviews could not believe the service and how the girl was employed, she is clearly not happy working at all. Food was good rest was awful!

I had heard many fab reviews regarding this establishment. It was a hrs drive from where I live (Hereford ) but omg !!!! Amazing !!!! Due to my husband & I working on Christmas Day. We booked a table for Sunday carvery as our Christmas day meal. Just wow !!!!! The friendliest staff as soon as we walked in. When it was our turn for the carvery me being me I went to ask the chef on duty what was gluten free so I could work out what I couldn’t enjoy. His reply was everything here everything is gluten free & welcome home ! I was so overjoyed to be able to enjoy all the extras that I generally miss out on. I chose beef & turkey cooked to perfection!!! Pudding choices were also amazing !!! Not just ice cream I would definitely recommend coming here for a meal the atmosphere and attention to detail was outstanding, we are already looking forward in returning for a valentines mea

Boxing Day - dreadful experience. Waited 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. Pre-booked starters took an hour be served and they were ok, acceptable. Another hour until mains arrived and they were awful. Roast potatoes hard and dry, cauliflower cheese sides were cold, the cauliflower under the cheese sauce was frozen. It all tasted as if it had been warmed up after waiting around a long time and we wondered if it was food from the day before. We weren't approached for more drinks or to ask if it was all ok. After another half an hour after the mains, we didn't hold out much hope for pre-booked desserts and left. There was no argument when we only paid for drinks and starters. Last Boxing Day it was very good, what on earth has happened there ?
