The wild cafe is lovely for kids with the music and scenery around etc and tv cwtch to keep them entertained, menu short for Lunch usual basic stuff- nice food tho and huge portions! Jacket potatoes always taste old tho as If they’ve been standing or reheated.. morning staff weren’t keen on offering a breakfast said if was closed but online it said until 10.30 maybe it hadn’t been updated online but the boys behind the bar just seemed like they couldn’t be asked so we left it, a nice woman tried to offer us a alternative but it had already put me off at the fact they couldn’t be asked

Attended the Lola breakfast here whilst staying on site at Bluestone. It was a great set up in that you had a buffet breakfast first (8.30am) and then the show starts around 9am. We thought this was good as if our little one didn’t enjoy it we could just go and at least we’d have eaten. The food was average but there was a fairly good spread (mostly hot). The bread for toast was bloomer and good quality and the coffee was very good (again, help yourself style). The show was lovely and the staff were all high energy and brilliant with the children. As with all the staff at Bluestone very they friendly staff and approachable. Reason for 4 stars - food 3 stars, show and atmosphere 5 stars.

Obviously this is within the Bluestone National Holiday Park so along with everything else it is going to be more expensive. The set up was good and my girls enjoyed the atmosphere and the theme. The food was nice but again not a lot for the price. The staff were lovely although when we got there for a later lunch (about 2.30pm) it wasn't obvious what we needed to do so I asked at the bar how I ordered food. She said there were menus on all of the tables then I just go back to her with a table number and our order. I only found a menu on 1 table and it wasn't ours so that was Where the confusion came from. All in all a good little restaurant for what it is and it was expected to be pricey because of where it is.

While having a great family week away at Bluestone we stopped for lunch at the Wild wood cafe following the children doing the sky walk. The cafe looks great, loads of detail, really magical for the children. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The menu was pretty standard food and was relatively pricey. This is fine if it tastes good...unfortunately it didn’t. The children had chips beans and sausages, the sausages tasted horrible and were hard and the chips were soggy and not cooked properly. I had a jacket potato which was luke warm, the chicken burger was really dry, the beef burger was grisly and tasteless and the salad tasted off. All in all very disappointing for the price. I sent an email complaint to Bluestone but they didn’t respond.

We absolutely loved the atmosphere this cafe generated with the background pipe music to the fairy lights and the woodland forest theme. The only minor thing I would comment here is that they only offer an Indian buffet in the evening 3 times a week which is not great if you're not a fan of Indian food. Maybe they could offer different themes on the other 2 nights?

If you visit Bluestone in the winter months you'll become very familiar with their cafes and restaurants. We broke our outdoor activities up with trips to get hot drinks from the Wild Wood Cafe. Like a lot of things at Bluestone, this cafe seems to have been designed with younger visitors firmly in mind. There is a cinema room showing looped frozen/disney combinations, the inside is decorated like a forest, and below the cafe is an indoor playground/crazy golf course. A lot of parents perch in the Wild Wood watching their kids go crazy below. In terms of food and drink the options are limited but the prices quite reasonable.

We tried to book a table for the character meet and greet sessions (4pm to 7pm) but were told at reception that there were no tables all week until 7.30pm. We were very disappointed as we were staying there and had young children. We decided on the off chance to swing by at 4.30pm and it was almost empty and remained so for the entirety of our meal! I cannot understand how this can be. We were told months ago on the phone that walk ins were possible but this wasn't told to us in reception. The food was very nice and the decor was lovely. Our kids loved the Wendy houses but they did close them mid-way through our visit which was a shame. I'm just glad we decided to turn up on the off chance or we would have had to go off-site for food.

Strange decor includes some kind of tree with a face. All part of the character, I assume. There's a good amount of seating and while the plain green walls and flooring could use a makeover the heavy wooden tables are a nice feature and the food was good. For £6 my bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta (daily special that day) was very tasty, although no one ever cooks the bacon how I really want it (brown and crispy). The bacon was quite middle-of-the-road in colour, but tasty. My wife had the steak and onion sandwich which proved tough to chew, but again the meat was very flavoursome. Decent value, all told.

We have visited this restaurant/cafe a few times and will continue to do so as it is such a magical setting for the family. The food is yummy and plenty of choice on the menu for adults and children. In the centre of the restaurant is a tall tree shape and is draped beautifully to create a magical woodland feel with lots of fairy lights and decorations.I recommend the dinner shows that are held there, an absolute must for any family with children (younger toddlers and older kids will equally enjoy). In the winter Christmas breaks they hold the Jinglebelle Dinner Show and I think the rest of the year they hold the Woody Wilds Dinner Show. A story is read to the children and they get to meet a character from the book and food is served to you table from a set menu which is delicious! Definitely worth booking in advance to guarantee your table for these as well worth doing!Definitely recommend this place! Will be returning again and again :-)

The setting of the Wild Wood Cafe is brilliant, with a big tree in the middle, and related decor - there is a little den showing children's films and what looked like computers for surfing online. If something is described as a cafe, I would expect it to be mainly light bites to eat and snacks. However, although there were a few lighter meals on the menu, it was still a sit down affair with waiting and mainly larger meals on the menu. This isn't always ideal with young children who are itching to get back to playing on the indoor play.

We were crammed as a group into the back corner area of the mezzanine and were not comfortable. We were cramped in that corner, and had to struggle back and forth to the Bar. On a recent day visit with my three grandchildren decided to have lunch at the wildwood cafe. We had used the cafe before about a year ago and were pleasantly surprised. How things have changed! This was the most apalling trash I have ever been served in any restaurant. I ordered the Vegi Tower which was the same meal I had last year. On the menu this is described as -"Bluestone Vegetable burger with cheese served on a toasted bun topped with tomato and lettuce with tangy brown & Pembrokeshire grown Bluestone-made chips" . Sounds nice doesn't it. What I had bore little resemblance to its description. Firstly its called a vegi TOWER well its more like a bungalow or its the only one storey tower I've ever seen. Secondly there is no cheese. Thirdly it is not topped with tomato and lettuce you get one small slice of tomato and a tiny lettuce leaf tucked under the burger. Finally my bun was not toasted. With this came the measliest portion of chips. We also ordered a baked potato with Ham that came unbuttered and partially filled with a diced slice of supermaket ham and a pathetic portion of goujons and chips. No cutlery was provided.Soup and chicken were off the menu because deliveries had been disrupted by the Bank Holiday. On receiving our meals I asked the surly excuse for a waitress why there was no cheese on the burger, she said it didn't come with cheese. I showed her the menu and she took away the burger and returned having added a sprinkle of what looked like parmesan I questioned the amount and was told that is all I was entitled to. I decided that I was not going to pay for this rubbish and called a member of staff, a young man came to us and I explained that I wanted my money back because the meals were poor quality and not as described, he tried to say that the cheese was in the burger and he would have the menu description changed. I explained that I had in fact hadcthat meal before and it was as described. He then agreed to refund our money.I'm soory for such a long review but I have never ever received such poor quality food and service and would urge everyone to avoid eating at this dump at all costs

Reading one previous review I think if you want soya and lactose free you need to visit Costa! This place caters for those who want a great meal after a walk. The scones with jam and clotted cream were nice, cheese on toast very good, coronation chicken sandwich beautiful. This is a place to visit and revisit as my family and I do yearly at least three times v

Didn’t disappoint. Lovely meals all served with humongous Yorkshire puds! Lashings of gravy and the cheesy leek dish was the best!
