Lovely location, friendly staff and a decent self service breckfast. BUT our standard double toom was very disappointing. Tired and grubby.Windowsills were filthy and the bed had hardboard supporting the mattress as the base had obviously collapsed!! Certainly not 4star and not worth the money

Went away for a big birthday and first ever night away from our baby, so it was going to be special! We look back on it and laugh now but it was disheartening at the time. We went to use the spa facilities before check in…. The ladies’ changing room was pretty gross. There was hair everywhere! As if someone had cleaned their hair brush and scattered it in various corners! Then the pool was cold so didn’t use it, the sauna was closed (on a Saturday), the steam room was fine then the jacuzzi was luke warm. It was bizarre. Made out to be such a lovely tranquil place, but we only stayed about 20 mins! Then went to check in to our room. We thought there’d been a mistake…it was such a depressing room and absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing like the online pictures. It was dark, really old furniture, dirty cutlery, mouldy walls, bits of cardboard under legs of the furniture to level them out! We told the staff there and asked if there was a room like the photos but they were full. We weren’t asking for an exact replica but it was deceiving because the standards were completely different! They explained that the hotel websites (we booked with booking.com) have a catalogue of certain photos and use them for all rooms. Just to warn you! They understood and gave us some money back. We went out for dinner and contemplated not going back. Either way, won’t be returning sadly! Hope we get a nicer baby free night away soon!

Excellent service, especially the reception ladies who went the extra mile to ensure a happy stay. They were welcoming, warm, friendly, helpful and professional. We felt relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. Beautiful historic building in a pretty setting. Our room was charming spacious and exceptionally clean. The two ladies in the spa again were professional, smiley and welcoming, we thoroughly enjoyed our facials, thank you. The whole atmosphere is one of calm, ease and relaxation, exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend this hotel.

Scaffolding outside my window, cold shower on day 2. Scafolders turned up at 9 15, I wasn't told of the work or workmen prior to bookin, I discovered them coming out of the shower at my window, noisy and rowdy. I showed the video to reception and asked the question how difficult would it have been to organise the work after check out, I was told they could not dictate when they turn up??? Jacuzzi out of order day 2. 1 hour wait for soup and main (not busy appearing disorganised), both locals and your staff told me to go to the dial inn. I've been generous with my feedback score. Ive already booked somewhere else for a return business trip, it's a shame I expected much more considering the building and grounds. Just poor and the workmen, well just unbelievable. Shame I can't upload video...

I hadn't visited Pembrokeshire for 20 years (since I retired). It was great to be back. We spent 5 nights in a family room in the annexe. Very clean and comfortable although the floorboards were a bit creaky! Had a problem with one of the radiators which wouldn't switch off. We reported this in the morning it was checked by staff & a plumber arrived late afternoon to fix it. Very impressive. Breakfasts were excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant on 2 evenings. Light & airy surroundings. Food was good. My wife ordered lamb shank one evening and this was exchanged without question when the first portion was too tough. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. We went into the spa twice. Sauna & steam room on alternate days....made clear to us when we checked in. Pool was great...if a little chilly!

The cleaning staff was loud and unprofessional they did a half hearted job with our room saw our birthday decorations and did not wish us good one. Also highlighting lack of diversity in staff and those in attendance can make minorities feel intimidated. Part of the experience is the environment so it is very important.

2 stars because there are no lifts and we had luggage im a pregnant woman and if there are lifts which I’m sure there went it was not pointed out to me soo… its a health and safety hazard to carry my luggage upstairs and be out of breath or fall. Other point is the lack of diversity form the staff to the people that attend I felt uncomfortable as a black woman and you can probably point out who it is. I’m sure others felt uncomfortable from me presence as it’s not diverse you can do better with staff and advertising for diversity. The rooms was nice and service all kind. Pool was great but again very uncomfortable. Overall 2 stars

This review is just for the spa. I’m sad to write a negative review however I have reached out to the spa manager but have not been able to get any where with my complaint. My cousin and I booked a treatment based on an instagram advert. The treatment we received was 25 minutes shorter than advertised. I mentioned this to the therapist and showed them the advert and she offered me entry into the pool area as compensation, I explained that I already had paid for entry into the pool area as part of a food package I’d also booked on the same day. I asked to speak to the manager who was not available and was told they would contact me. I chased up the complaint to be told again that I was offered entry into the pool as compensation for the shortened treatment, to again explain I’d already paid for entry into the pool that day. I was hoping for a reply and at least some empathy or acknowledgment of the incorrect advert or treatment but nothing. I find it very disappointing when businesses feel they can short change or rip off guests and not acknowledge any wrong doing. The pool area is also dirty black mould in the jacuzzi and generally untidy. It’s a shame that such a fantastic setting isn’t run with a high standard of customer service.

Room was a bit meh, its supposed to have a vintage feel, but the room decco needs an uplift, with flaking paint, blown tiles and stained carpets. No pride at all in the cleaning, with hair in the bed, a white mark on the bedding and plenty of cobwebs around. Went to the spa pool, and it was freezing and the steam room was out of order. The TV was tiny and around the corner on the wall. Bed was so uncomfortable, and there was a noise outside the window all night. We felt optimistic about breakfast, how can you ruin that! We were asked what hot drink, took room number, let us get started and then told us the breakfast chef phoned in sick 30 mins ago!!! So couldn't have any cooked breakfast. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30, we arrived at about 8:45, so that's gotta be a lie which annoys me even more. Overall for a 4star hotel, at 120 for b and b, extremely dissappointing

Felt food in the hotel was over priced. The swimming pool is quite small. We expected to have sauna and steam room but they apparently alternate these, so not good and they were over crowded. The shower only stays on for about 5 seconds and then switches off. Hard trying to hold on whilst washing hair! Hairdryers also not good if you want to get any style to your hair as built in tubes. Floor was wet too 😔

I thought this hotel was very disappointing, the room I stayed in was unclean, thick dust on the skirting boards, there was also a sock I found on the floor under the bedside table covered in thick dust and hairs too, the room needed a deep clean. The decor of the bedroom was very tired, this also applies to the main hotel. The downstairs loos in the main hotel, the inside of the loo doors were grubby and under the the coat hook there was a rough patch that had been filled with pollyfiller that hadn’t been sanded down - these are just details the eye picks up and you think to yourself standards for a 4* hotel have majorly slipped, a guest shouldn’t really be noticing these things. The menu is vastly overpriced for what is essentially frozen food. A frozen processed beef burger costing £18.50. Sunday Roast was either packet meat or had been previously cooked then frozen and reheated. An 8oz Steak costing £29. No fresh vegetables and nothing freshly prepared and cooked from scratch. The cooked breakfast is charge at £15.95 and consists of one reheat dry sausage, one rasher of bacon (both cheap from a wholesalers) one egg, a few mushrooms, one hashbrown, one tomato, and a small pot of over cooked baked beans. The fruit juices are from cheap cartons and the fruit on offer was tinned. I would compare their food to a 1970’s cafe. I stayed on a weekend and the restaurant was virtually empty, in fact the hotel felt empty. This hotel makes its money mostly from corporate customers which probably include an evening meal and breakfast and therefore has very little interest in serving the public. I think management should really rethink about offering better quality and standards to their future guests. To me this was more of a 3* hotel. The 4* stars are probably because it offers a Spa. It’s a great shame as the the exterior of the building and surrounding land is very beautiful and it could be a luxury hotel if big changes were made.

Just to be clear this is a review on the Spa facility not the hotel. As I live locally I joined as a member to swim in the pool. The pool is quite small, you can only swim comfortably with a maximum of 4 people, they have a nice size jacuzzi and also a sauna and steam room which run on alternate days. This is the first downside, and it's not really a complaint against the place or the staff, but something they could address, pretty much on a daily basis people get out of the sauna or steam room and into the pool without showering!! This is really off putting and despite asking numerous times if they could put signs up nothing has been done. The second downside is the changing room showers, they are very nice, clean and with a handy little spin dryer for your cossie but the showers themselves are on a push button timer that lasts 5 seconds, it is virtually impossible to have a decent wash or wash your hair! At almost £50 a month I expected better!

My partner and I stayed at this lovely hotel from last Monday until yesterday morning. We had a very enjoyable stay there. The hotel staff were friendly, approachable and very hard working. The food in the hotel restaurant was of an excellent quality and very tasty in large portions. Our bedroom was a standard twin, warm and comfortable too. The only downsides were that it overlooked the car park and it was above the hotel kitchen so I got woken up early! Overall we had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

This is not a spa Hotel - be warned. Even though they have a full list of treatments they don’t do any of them. We spoke to the hotel a few times before booking and no one told us they don’t do any treatments. On arrival and complaining they told us we could have cancelled and that even if they where doing treatments we would have had to book long before we made reservations. No apologies and rude dismissal of our complaint.

Lamphey Court is a Best Western franchise hotel. Seasoned travellers will tell you - that means it's either very, very good, or it's terrible! It depends on the individual owner. Our experience of Lamphey Court hotel, on the whole, was very good, but with notable exceptions. We booked a three-day package, which included a meal allowance. The hotel looks superb from the outside: it's all clean and the grounds are well maintained. We were greeted most enthusiastically at Reception, and the Receptionist seemed delighted to detail our package - complementary bottle of prosecco, late check-out etc. Our room (25) was very pleasant and clean, and just about warm enough. The room windows are single-glazed and old enough that they have started to rot - but it would be tragic to replace the windows with uPVC! The hot water came out at a good temperature and at a good pressure. The wi-fi was excellent - in fact, so good that I didn't think to notice it for the first day; considering the rural setting of the hotel, bravo! The adjacent swimming pool and fitness centre were outstanding - and clearly very popular with locals who paid a membership fee, while hotel guests were admitted for free. The pool, the steam room and the jacuzzi were all spotlessly clean. Sadly, as has been mentioned by others, it is the catering that lets the hotel down. The waiting staff in the restaurant in the evening are good natured and well intentioned, rather than expertly trained. The quality of food varies enormously from one evening to the next - the lamb shank needed a steak knife to cut it (not supplied); the penne bolognaise was no better than you'd get from the pub chain with the notoriously sticky carpets and the in-house panna cotta was simply awful (they deducted it from the bill). Yet the chicken and mushroom pie another night (same chef!) was absolutely superb, and the date pudding was excellent. I would strongly encourage the hotel owner to train the waiter staff better, and ensure the chef consistently delivers better quality meals. Breakfast was OK - the "Welsh" full breakfast was just the standard items, hopefully locally sourced, but nothing special. It would have been nice to be offered (say) laverbread as an "authentic" Welsh ingredient. The menu boasted that the croissants and other pastries were freshly baked - that may have been so, but if that was the case the oven must have been two hours' drive away in Cardiff! Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but next to it is a little gem of a place to visit: the Bishop's Palace. Built in medieval times by successive Bishops of St David's, it was where they retired for a break from their church duties. Considering the size of the cellar, the Bishops did themselves very well indeed. The palace gets very few visitors: we walked round on our own. It's well worth strolling across from the hotel to see it. Finally, as we made to leave the hotel, I'm sorry to say that the (different) Reception staff could not drag themselves away from their conversation to acknowledge our departure. That was a serious blunder. You see, last impressions last too!

Stayed here for my birthday with my husband.. 3 nights.. Beautiful setting with a majestic grand hotel nestled in the most glorious country side... A lovely welcome with the most Covid 19 preventive measure in place... Gapoy cheerful reception staff.. The Bedroom was so big and so tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with an enormous super king size bed.. which was so Cwtchy with gorgeous white bedding.. The bathroom was huge too with a bath which is always a plus for me as so many hotels these days, just having showers... We used the Spa centre daily, the pool was great.. Again with meticulous Covid 19 preventative measures in place.. As a birthday tray I had a massage too which was the best I have ever had !! We had breakfast every morning which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious with plenty of choice.. Very professional staff .. courteous and polite at all times... We also had a very tasty evening meal for my birthday too.. Thoroughly delicious I can’t recommend this Hotel enough.. I’m coming back again next year and the next and the next

Down in the area for work and have always used Best Western Hotels as I have previously found their sites to be of a very high standard. This evening at around 20:00 I asked to book a table for food and was informed the restaurant was full and there was no space. Ok with Covid restriction i understand that space is at a premium, however to be told that they were simply too busy to support room service was astonishing, no further communication or direction that's it. The receptionist turned away without a second thought and I was left without any direction of how i was to obtain food. I had ben sat in the bar previously to the enquiry with a college from work and had 2 bottles of beer. What were my choices? Well luckily my college came back to run me to the local shop where I ended up with a sandwich and a bag of crisps. I would have been happy for the walk but I didn't really fancy a 3.2 mile round trip. Based on this unknowingness moving forward I will be looking for an early check-out and will not be coming back moving forwards

We stayed for 2 nights ( 29/07-31/08) in a family room in the studios / annex. The room was very tired , damp stains above windows, a drainage smell in the bathroom & very poor pressure shower. Some of the electrical fittings needed attention & all mattresses were past their best. The ceiling had been repainted to perhaps freshen up the room ( & some new carpet) but pointless if you’re going to splatter paint over all the net curtains & bedside lights fittings?Very untidy in & around the studio areas ( piles of dead leaves / dead plants in pots) but nothing that a good days work wouldn’t solve - why is it that the family accommodation always fall short? With an overhaul these rooms could be good! I totally understand that Co-vid restrictions were in place -we ate a cooked breakfast in a marquee which could certainly have been cheered up with some plants / flowers but our plates varied considerably on both days & we needed to ask for cutlery , side plates , condiments on both days. I get they weren’t displayed for Co-Vid reasons but they could have been brought to the table with the food! We also had to ask ( via phone)for extra items like loo roll & tea, coffee , milk & then went to collect at reception. It seems that they hadn’t quite got into the re-opening routine. I totally understand that rooms couldn’t be serviced or entered but things could be left outside doors like the continental breakfast in a box was.Obviously the pool wasn’t open but the tennis courts were also shut for maintenance - I did email to ask why lots of little jobs to improve the place couldn’t have been undertaken during lockdown but was told the hotel was full to capacity with key workers & only emergency repairs were being done although there was a gardener too.We were charged extra after we left which seemed firstly a mix up between an evening meal ( even though we were not there) or a breakfast charge but this was rectified.Staff were friendly , pleasant & helpful but there was obviously very few of them at this time. I did receive a partial refund for the stay after emailing my comments generally to Best Western & having a response from the Lamphey manager but I feel the Co-Vid situation is being used to cover all shortcomings which is a little unfair. ( I hadn’t appreciated that hotels are all independently owned & run )We didn’t have any other meals at the hotel but The Dial Inn a ten minute walk away was excellent & very well organised!

Booked several weeks in advance for my wife’s birthday and given the worse room in the hotel. Ground floor at the back of the hotel with a window facing a wall. The only room to do so. The room was very small and had a musty smell. I went to speak to the receptionist and kindly asked if there was another room available. She was very nice but explained that she could only move us on the second night, which she did. That room was better but the beds in both rooms were old; not comfortable and need replacing. When we got home, I sent an email to the hotel explaining that we appeared to have been given the worst room, even though we had booked well in advance. I explained that we had been disappointed with being allocated such a room in the first place and that seeing as it was our first visit to the hotel, it was not encouraging us to return. The receptionist was very nice and did what she could for us at the time and we were grateful for that. I did however feel I wanted to express our disappointment with the room allocation and why we were disappointed. The response from the manager was that they would remove us from the emailing list. A rather poor response to say the least.

Stay here 14/3/20 booked a bargain spa over night stay for myself and my husband on spa break , a 50 minute full body massage each, bed and breakfast, afternoon tea, and £25 per person towards your evening meal £280, we arrived at 12pm (had a 4 and a half hour drive from Manchester) our massage was booked for 12.30pm, the staff were lovely and for health and safety reasons with the corona virus at the moment, they checked our temperature and gave us hand sanitizer which made us feel more at ease that everyone had been checked before entering the spa, we had our amazing massage then we had afternoon tea in the conservatory, we was spoilt for choice with the selection of cakes and sandwiches, we didn't have to change our clothes just walk over with our robes on so we could go back into the spa and enjoy the rest of the day using the facility's pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, checked into the hotel at 5pm, had our temperature checked again and there was sanitizer everywhere in the hotel, our room was lovely, very clean and with a very big comfy bed, tv, hairdryer, tea and coffee biscuits and even a coffee machine with pods, there's also free Wi-Fi.Our evening meals were lovely, after having so much food at afternoon tea I chose a a lighter bite burger with bacon and cheese onion rings and chips this was still a very big portion, but was so nice I forced myself to eat it my husband and a lovely steak with chips and prawns to start. Our room at the night was lovely and quiet and had a good night sleep. On the surface this hotel seems perfect. The location is beautiful, the facilities comprehensive and our room very large. Unfortunately however it is let down a little on the finer details. My wife and I both thought this hotel was a little gem, it's in a beautiful location with really stunning views. Had no complaints with our room, it was tasteful, spacious and really comfortable. We did manage to take advantage of the spa (which we would definitely recommend). The staff are friendly and very helpful 'we will definitely be staying again'. Dinner was delicious. It was a good menu well cooked and served in lovely surroundings......would like to compliment Lamphey Court for the breakfast, the perfect start to the day

We had a great stay here last weekend. Ok so the rooms/decor could do with a revamp but overall the rooms were clean and tidy and we slept well. The hotel is set in lovely grounds. The spa area was great - a lovely pool to swim in. I didn’t have lunch or dinner here but did have breakfast. There’s not a massive choice put out for breakfast (toast and cereals) but they have a menu where you can order full cooked breakfast and other options. I couldn’t see vegetarian breakfast on the menu but asked and was provided with a fantastic breakfast (with vegetarian sausages!). My other half ordered some porridge which he said was great. There’s a hairdryer in the room and we also had an iron and ironing board which was handy. To summarise we thought this hotel was great. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. We would very much recommend.

We are a young local couple who were looking for a night away not too far away from home. The location was perfect and the setting of the palace is breath-taking. We were greeted by a lovely reception team who were very helpful. The superior room was rather expensive but worth the money. It was clean, tidy and very homely.

treated by my family to a spa day which included 2 treatments, a back, neck and shoulder massage plus a facial. We arrived at 10am and spent time in and around the pool, sauna, stem room and jacuzzi. There was cold water available to drink. The pool is not very big as is expected at this type of venue. The treatments were adequate and complementary towels and robes are supplied. The showers are not fantastic, water stays on for 5 seconds at a time! lunch was included and was very nice. Would consider going again.

We arrived late so could not see the outside till morning, we were in room 24, the room is a nice size decided to have a shower but when I put the light on in the bathroom the fan which was in the ceiling over the bath made a really loud vibrating noise. I was worried it would disturb the other rooms. We needn’t have worried about the room above us as the bumping and creaking from the room above was just as loud. We also could not open the window to let air in, so got up with a blocked nose and head ache. We spoke to reception in the morning and they sorted the window, but the fan was not done, so we tried to limit the times we put the light.

Having visted this venue before we decided a group of us as couples would try the Thursday offers, firstly we were greeted by fabulous young waiting staff friendly and helpful and didn't mind that 4 of our guests were late, drinks were served promptly nice and chilled, we ordered the selection of homemade burgers with glass of wine and bottle beers, oh my days this put a new meaning on the word burger I had the chicken stack filled with chicken cheese onion rings etc coleslaw fries my partner had pulled pork crispy bacon our plates were full but very much empty when cleared. Chilled Prosseco after was gr8 unfortunately we were to full for deserts which isn't such a bad reflection on the chef and kitchen team well done all, a big shout out to the front of house team for dealing with our demands we will return and would thoughrouly recommend this venue x

On our first night at this hotel what appeared to be the main ding room was open. This is situated on the one side of the hotel near the bar area. Its a very large area and i suspect it is used for wedding receptions and other large functions. I personally found it had little atmosphere as there were just three tables in use, so basically with three couples in such a vast space it had no buzz! On one of the other nights we used a much smaller restaurant that was just off the reception. It was perfect as it was well furnished, warm and quite intimate. The staff I have to say in both restaurants were excellent, the service was just right without being pushy and the food prepared and cooked to a high standard.

Myself and friend came her as part of her birthday. The hotel is nice enough however I did feel our room was a bit dated and worn looking. The room was quiet with nice views outside but the shower water was cold in the morning. We booked into the Spa and around the jacuzzi area is looking a little worn but the rest is fine. I had a shoulder and back massage and found it far to rough and painful, I was in agony at times and didn’t find it relaxing or enjoyable, I feel that I should have been asked what level of massage I wanted (soft, medium or hard). Food at the hotel was nice enough and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was self service for cereals and fruit but the cooked breakfast had to be ordered and was nice enough too. Some of the other guests also complained while we were there that their rooms were dated. I’m not sure I’d come again?

What a beautiful hotel and surrounding by ruins of lamphey palace. Quaint hotel. Food was delicious and reasonable priced. Spa was good. Pool slightly small but it wasn’t overcrowded so it wasn’t a problem. Check in was a bit of a nightmare as check in was 3, we turned up at 340 and our room still wasn’t ready!! Apart from that no problems and an enjoyable stay. Close to many castles in the west wales region.

Great atmosphere and great food as well! Thanks so much to all the staff who seem to always have a smile on their face and were always helpful whenever we needed anything. We would highly recommend Lamphey Court Hotel and will definitely be coming back. I was surprised to read about a limited menu and the dining room and do not understand? The menu was perfect especially because the food was so fresh and obviioisly local. All meals were very hearty and our children were continuously excited to have both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. We also absolutely loved the pool and water temperature. This is an older hotel with all the charms which is what we love when finding time for a vacation so expect wonderful little quirky details when exploring. Best of all the location is perfect with very close access to some of fantastic beaches and even the old Bishops Palace right next store is worth checking out.

We booked a spa day with afternoon tea for the family (husband, myself, 4 older girls). The day was amazing - we were welcomed by Alice, who made us feel at home and explained how the day would work and we spent the day lolling by the pool, in the jacuzzi and steam room and having our treatments. The atmosphere was very relaxed and every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and happy. Each of us had either a facial or massage, delivered professionally and in a very friendly manner by the lovely Lydia. Afternoon tea at the end of the day was superb - so much delicious food. Great value, excellent service, friendly - we will definitely be back!

As a returning guest, I can confirm that the hotel still comes highly recommended! The staff are so helpful and friendly, remembering me from the Easter visit and recommending different walks and places to visit. The spa & pool facilities are great and is an amazing way to unwind after a day of walking and before a tasty meal in the restaurant. The only downside would be that the menu doesn't appear to change much, so if staying for a while, it might be a little repetitive! Breakfast is great and just what a walker needs before a day of exploring!!

We stayed here for one night for an extended family get-together. There were about 25 of us for dinner and breakfast, and most of us stayed overnight, some in the hotel itself and a few others in the bungalow in the grounds. When we called to book the owner was fantastic, very accommodating and understanding. Dinner was very good, with everyone served within 5 minutes of each other for each course - no mean feat when you consider we ordered a la carte from the menu when we had sat down. Service was very good too, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent too - a very nice full English. Accommodation is as expected based on the price you pay, slightly dated decor but comfortable and clean. I’d definitely return to the hotel, and would recommend it to others.

An impressive ex-manor house in a great rural location. We stayed on a B&B; basis and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a family suite. Decor/carpet was newish, furnishing was older but fine. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. We did not try the spa or the infinity pool. Breakfast was hot (cooked to order) and there was plenty. All staff were pleasant and efficient. The only downside: we caught sight of one of the chefs (outside smoking) and his attire was so filthy he may have been the reason for the ‘2’ hygiene rating all by himself (it put us off having an evening meal there; luckily, we found the village’s Dial Inn to be as good as it's reviews).

Very disappointed with my experience today. We were a party of four; two of us on the spa day package, two joining for lunch. Our server had no idea what was included in the spa day offering, the staff seemed to have great trouble finalising the bill at the end, the food was very sub-standard, we waited 50 minutes for our starters to arrive. From start to finish it was disappointing after what had been a lovely relaxing morning in the spa.

Stayed at the hotel for a Birthday weekend which should have been the weekend the Beast from the East visited but as we were unable to go due to the fact we were snowed in they kindly changed our booking for two weeks later but sadly again it was spoilt as we managed to get there this time but had arranged and paid for two nights but we were beaten once again by the snow and had to cut the trip short to avoid being stranded which was such a shame as we found the hotel to be very welcoming and friendly the staff were great, we had a lovely spacious room with a seating area. The room had tea/coffees facilities also toiletries in the bathroom and iron/board in wardrobe, shame there were no bathrobes provided as their is a fab spar that you have use of with swimming pool/jacuzzi/steam room and sauna and would have been a great help to change in your room and walk over but saying that the changing rooms are great with lockers etc so not to much of a hardship I guess but that would have been my preference they also offer a great selection of treatments if required and again the girls were great very informative and friendly.

We stayed here as treat for my birthday. We booked one of the coach house studios as we are smokers and have easy access to the outside. On arrival, the lovely receptionist Chrissie said we'd been upgraded and had a room in the main building. When we saw it, we were disappointed as it was tiny and very claustrophobic, also a long way from any exit. I went to speak to Chrissie and she was wonderful and sorted us out with a spacious, lovely studio in the coach house.
