Lunch here on the last Sunday in September was the best seafood I have ever tasted, fresh and beautifully presented. We had 5 dishes between 3 of us, and the crab cakes were my favourite, packed full with crab, delicious! We were warmly welcomed and the waiting staff were superb, patiently explaining the dishes to us. the fruit tart pudding looked almost too stunning to eat and was also delicious with melt in your mouth pasty. Lovely atmosphere too with mostly extended family groups, will definitely return if I am ever in Glasgow again.

Amazing place if you are in hurry or need a little brake on your adventure in Edinburgh. The people working here are super friendly and the prices are good. They have soup of the day if you need something warm and great selection of tasty pies (chicken and mushroom is my favorite). Totaly worth visit at least once!

Just popped in for drinks, always great. Update 24th September 2024: Food was poor. The lasagna was basically mince, and pasta and cheese had no sauce tomato or herbs. Cullen Skink had hard potatoes. Fish pie would have been better with less cheese. I was disappointed as it usually was good.

An excellent restaurant we visited on a Friday night whilst staying nearby. There was a good choice of food which was of high quality and reasonably priced. Although the place was busy the waiting staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. i would certainly go back again if in the Troon area.

Having used the deli for many many years, I have been in a few times since the takeover and been slightly disappointed each time. This time it put the seal on us never using it again. I don’t mind paying for good quality, tasty food. But the venison chorizo quiche we got were tasteless with very little (3 pieces at most) of ‘chorizo’ and no real flavour other than egg. The salmon bagel was rock hard but had a great amount of salmon on it. The BLT with garlic mayo was tasteless due to the tomatoes being huge thick chunks from what seemed to be large cooking tomatoes. The toffee muffins were enjoyed by the kids. £35 is what I expect to pay for this type of food but I do want it done well and to have taste. I’m afraid after many years of using the deli, we won’t be going again.

Four of us meet up as many times during the course of the year as we can for a catch up and lunch. Unfortunately a local Pub we used to go to closed down at the end of September so we were left with not knowing when to go for our lunch! Prior to going over to Largs I checked out a few places on TripAdvisor looking for favourable reviews. I am delighted to say that we decided to go to The Three Reasons Pub for our lunch yesterday. What a find this was. We were stunned to see just how busy the place was. We had a short wait before getting a table. Their menu has many very tasty looking dishes on it and it was hard to decide just what to have to eat! 3 of us opted for Prawn Cocktail as a starter and 1 decided on the Chicken Pakora. What a decent portion of Prawn Cocktail no shortage of prawns and the Chicken Pakora was equally as good . We all enjoyed. What was very appealing was the fact that for main course you could have a small portion or a normal portion this to me is a winner. 2 of us had the lovely Lasagne with another having Macaroni Cheese and lastly Fish and Chips. The food was all very well priced and we thought great value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and this was all washed down with a couple of bottles of wine which we shared between the 4 of us. Full marks in every way for The Three Seasons, the atmosphere was just so nice with lovely background music, the food and service were absolutely spot on. We could not fault a thing. I am very pleased to say that the toilets were absolutely spotless. What a find this was and we are already planning our next outing for lunch!! We all would highly recommend this place for a meal when you are visiting Largs as we were, you MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Keep up the good work and we will look forward to seeing you next month.

We visited for a birthday/anniversary dinner and we really enjoyed ourselves. Service was good, efficient and friendly, and the food was excellent. The menu is a little limited, but I think that is understandable these days, and the fact that it is changed daily suggests that the chef is making best use of seasonal ingredients. My starter of Cullen skink was not a very French dish, but it did have French cheese added, and it was delicious, so we'll allow that! For my main, I had the duck breast, which was beautifully cooked and came with a delicious buttery sauce. My dessert - pear and almond frangipane tart - was a generous portion, and delicious. As well as the main menu, there is a "prix fixe" "Cafe Classics" option, although there is only one dish option for each course. There is a great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and a good wine list with a number available by the glass. The restaurant is small and very cosy, with a real French bistro feel. We have been occasional visitors here for many years - we couldn't remember how long, but certainly over 20! - and it has never disappointed.
