Scones were just out of the oven (9:30am). Served with jam butter and cream - superb. Very friendly waitress(who was the owner). Lovely tea and coffee. Did not sample their breakfast menu but looked great. Would recommend a visit.

As a family of six we thoroughly enjoyed our various breakfasts at the Gypsy Cream. We were particularly pleased to find they opened at 9:30am as most other places did not seem to open until 10. The service was quick and the lady who served us very pleasant. My full Scottish breakfast was delicious. We would definitely return again when we are next in Largs.

Having read some of the reviews, we were slightly apprehensive but so glad we chose to ignore them and focus on the positive. Excellent food, friendly, efficient service. Try the sweet potato, chilli and coconut soup, it's delicious and it was piping hot. Lovely fresh mixed salad served with the baked potato and chilli con carne. And the gypsy creams we bought to take away were fab. We'll definitely be back.

This cafe is not worth the effort. It’s expensive, has no atmosphere & we didn’t appreciate the manageress public patronising, scolding of a young, smiling, attentive waitress who couldn’t have been better with her customer service from the off. Not nice to overhear the nasty comments made, very disrespectful. My partner ordered coffee whist I ordered poached egg on toast. It was so very unappetising when it arrived. My partner left before he said anything not wanting to make a scene. Mine was so far away from poached egg on toast as you can see. It was also stone cold & very watery, the bread was definitely not fresh. I say the bread as it hadn’t stayed in the toaster long that’s for sure. The tabs of butter had been put on the bread, unfortunately when opened were both pure liquid. It truly was awful. There are far, far better places to enjoy food not very far away.

It is a measure of how much I enjoyed the Welsh rarebit and side salad when I forgot to pour my tea (I'm very much a tea Jenny) until my plate was all but clean! The rarebit was toasted to perfection on lovely granary bread, the coleslaw was delicious and the salad was the best I've ever had - full of little surprise ingredients. Hubby had the soup (lentil and ham) with a coronation chicken sandwich, which he declared excellent. Our only regret is that we left it so long to visit The Gypsy Cream! We will be back. Guaranteed!! Home baking was also purchased to take home with us.

Just my opinion but I thought the full breakfast needed something like beans or tin tomatoes as the breakfast was dry, All cooked very well and tasty and my wife had a 3 egg omelette and that was very nice and cooked really well, The service by the young man was good, polite and chatty, Prices a little steep but once again just my opinion. I would recommend you give them a go for yourselves, local cafes need local people, Use them or lose them

Received a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived for breakfast just before it opened at 9am. The breakfast was delicious as well as good coffee. We would thoroughly recommend this cafe. Our first visit. It was very busy but there were a couple of free tables. They were short staffed so service was quite slow but the food was nice. Tasty jacket potatoes and the side salad was the best I’ve ever had! Packed with so many different things! Not a great selection of cakes on offer so didn’t bother to order any. There’s a note on the table saying they prefer cash payment which is something I’ve never seen before in a cafe/restaurant. I paid by card as I never carry cash.

I visited today with my family , took 20 mins to take an order.after looking at menu and thinking it was a bit expensive decided that if the food was good it would be worth it. Mistake ! Soup was cold asked for it to be heated and was returned scorched with croutons that jaws would have done well to save his teeth on. Bowl roasting to touch which my wife was encouraged to lift off the tray and burnt her fingers. Disabled access was terrible with the entrance covered in fake flowers which were blocking an elderly couple who tried to get in with a wheelchair. Whole atmosphere seemed cold. £1.80 for a can of coke is ridiculous. I think that the inflated prices for very basic standard food.are excessive Nothing positive to say really. Far better options and quality in Largs than this.

Soup was piping hot and very tasty - mmm delic. Finished by having a mocha which was great. This came with a piece of tablet which must rate as being one of the best I’ve had.. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Tables were cleared as soon as the occupants left making the place look attractive. Parking for free in a road close by was a real bonus and definitely must attract visitors to this lovely seaside town. I’ve seen far too many such seaside places bring in car parking charges which has resulted in the town centre dying and cafes like the Gypsy Cream closing because the business becomes unsustainable.

Four of us meet up as many times during the course of the year as we can for a catch up and lunch. Unfortunately a local Pub we used to go to closed down at the end of September so we were left with not knowing when to go for our lunch! Prior to going over to Largs I checked out a few places on TripAdvisor looking for favourable reviews. I am delighted to say that we decided to go to The Three Reasons Pub for our lunch yesterday. What a find this was. We were stunned to see just how busy the place was. We had a short wait before getting a table. Their menu has many very tasty looking dishes on it and it was hard to decide just what to have to eat! 3 of us opted for Prawn Cocktail as a starter and 1 decided on the Chicken Pakora. What a decent portion of Prawn Cocktail no shortage of prawns and the Chicken Pakora was equally as good . We all enjoyed. What was very appealing was the fact that for main course you could have a small portion or a normal portion this to me is a winner. 2 of us had the lovely Lasagne with another having Macaroni Cheese and lastly Fish and Chips. The food was all very well priced and we thought great value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and this was all washed down with a couple of bottles of wine which we shared between the 4 of us. Full marks in every way for The Three Seasons, the atmosphere was just so nice with lovely background music, the food and service were absolutely spot on. We could not fault a thing. I am very pleased to say that the toilets were absolutely spotless. What a find this was and we are already planning our next outing for lunch!! We all would highly recommend this place for a meal when you are visiting Largs as we were, you MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Keep up the good work and we will look forward to seeing you next month.

Good food, soup was really tasty, staff are friendly, service is quick. Limited opening hours but worth visiting. Feels like a real community meeting place. Huge slices of cake and a warm and clean coffee shop. Worth visiting for lunch.

Kelly has the best cafe inside here, if you’re looking for food in Ardrossan then this is the place to go!

We were a bit disappointed with our visit here. Apart from one lovely waitress the staff weren’t very attentive. Two of the younger staff were messing about behind the bar rather than serving customers. The food wasn’t the quality you would expect for the price- We had a small steak and chips with no veg and an open seafood lasagne which was really bitter.
