Always busy but dong have to wait long for a table. Food is first-class can recommend Mental Chili Con Carne, not for the faint hearted. Staff efficient and friendly. Probably the best reason to visit Largs. Be back soon 😊

Never a bad meal in this bar. Food is excellent and the staff are brilliant. Laura is a fabulous supervisor and Stewart a cracking owner. Clean, bright, cosy, friendly and always ready to serve you. Best bar in Largs for some lunch, a drink and decent service.

Great place to eat reasonable price

Love this place & have already sent lots of family & friends there for food, service is good staff are very friendly & helpful.

My wife & I stopped in for dinner & were very impressed. Old style pub feel to it, The staff were all very helpful & made you feel welcome even though your not a regular. We had some haggis fritters with peppercorn sauce good choice they were great we were only disappointed not to have ordered more. For dinner I had steak pie n chips & my wife was going to get the Caledonian chicken but when she seen almost everyone that was eating had steak pie she changed her mind & was she glad she chose this as we both agreed it was fantastic. We got the large portion & both struggled to finish it but did. The stewed steak was extremely tender & was in large chunks not one of us found fat or gristle. We would've had desert but were very full & had to waddle when we left...lol

Below average pub food with inflated prices! Unsure if this is cost of living but there are better places in largs to spend money! My friends would also not return and none of us finished meals

Came here because The Fish Works were closed and have to say their fish & chips were decent, fresh fish crusty batter, and peas that are actually tasty. Lovely waiter too. I loved the slightly local atmosphere here - 80s playlist, the place felt very relaxing and authentic.

Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere. They have a weekly guest ale that you’ve got to try. But the highlight is the banging playlist…best pub music I’ve heard in so long!

Have tried so many places for food in Largs but this is by far the best.Lasagne and Caledonia Chicken both excellent with decent size portions.Great atmosphere and staff extremely friendly and work really hard to make sure customers receive the best experience.Special mention to both waitresses who were on today (friday5/1)as their service and attentiveness were outstanding.Will definitely be back!!!

This is a great place in Largs. The staff are so attentive. The food is excellent and good value for money. I can highly recommend this place for anyone visiting our little town.

Excellent place for food and drinks, good menu choice, very good service and prices good. A nice atmosphere situated in the centre of the town opposite the ferry slipway would highly recommend.

5 star Sunday lunch but a glass of soda water at £1.80 and a dash of lime which I didn't ask for 0.90p. Soda water free across the road at Wetherspoons.

Town Centre pub which we chose because it was pet friendly having rung in advance- It didn't disappoint - choice of meals was impressive including daily specials and a superb range of lagers (5 I think). The waitresses were totally on the ball and really accommodating. There was a slight error with the meal and the bill on the second visit but it was corrected immediately and without any quibble.

Old style pub but certainly not old style pub grub! Between us we had the steak pie and the Caledonian chicken. Absolutely beautiful scran! Definitely go again when we're up next

Family friendly local bar that makes you welcome. Always busy with locals and day visitors due to good food and excellent service. The Chilli offering is delicious, comes with rice and flatbread and has 3 strength levels. The medium is hot enough for me but they do have a "Mental Chilli" alternative.

Popped in with the kids and our dog, looking for a bite to eat. The staff were welcoming and so accommodating and the food was lovely.

Probably best pub food in Ayrshire. Always fresh and piping hot. Very friendly staff and extremely competitive prices both for food and drinks. Have dined in some of the so called exclusive restaurants around Ayrshire but the Three Reasons is unbeatable

I didn't had any food so far, thus I cannot judge it. The barmaids and bartender are super friendly and make sure you have a great time. It was not too noisy and there are several tables to enjoy a quieter evening. As a German who explores Scotland for the first time I got some recommendations for beautiful landscapes. Thanks a lot to the whole team for the lovely evening. See you again soon.

Went in for the first time today. Lovely atmosphere, lovely stuff who don't rush you. We ordered large Caledonian chicken with fries and large steak pie and Potatoes. I couldn't believe the size of the portions. Huge. Yes, we ordered large but I didn't think they would be that generous.I struggled to finish my fries. The chicken was tender and the haggis was the best I've had ever! Lovely selection of veg. It came piping hot. So so lovely. I would definitely come again. Thank you.

Great day today. Food was ex excellent. Staff were very friendly put a table for 11 together as we had family from Ireland over .brilliant thank you .also considering there was 11 of us food was brought out very quick .thanks to all.

Friendly pub. Busy. Drinks bit more expensive than other places. Food generally good and I like the the small and large portion option. Had breaded haddock but bit soggy in the middle. Same as battered haddock last time I visited. Think they need to up the temp of the fryer or leave fish for longer. I would visit again but give soggy fish a miss.

My wife and I ate here on Monday night. The bar was very busy and we had to wait 10 minutes to get seated in the restaurant area. It was well worth the wait, both our meals were lovely and very reasonably priced. I picked a medium sized chilli with rice and my wife picked a steak & mushroom flatbread with chips and salad. Hers was also medium sized and definitely more than enough to eat. Why other restaurants don’t offer this? Certainly cuts down on waste! Our bill, including a pint of lager and a Malibu & Coke came to just less than £30. Amazing value, considering the quality of the meals. I would certainly recommend a visit to the Three Reasons. Easy to see why it’s number one Restaurant in Largs.

Without any hesitation, I'm delighted to share with you that The Three Reasons is the best location for food in Ayrshire. The pub can be accessed by wheelchair as it is flat with the pavement at the entrance. There's also an accessible toilet. Staff are great for a bit of banter and help to create an excellent atmosphere.

Great food, great price. Still good, but waited 20 mins to pay bill and staff were quite grumpy about it. I just wanted to leave but they repeatedly said to wait a minute while they served other people. Poor.

My wife and I were lucky to get a table for lunch in this quaint pub in Largs. Staff were attentive, however we did have to remind them of our order as come 35mins and others being served who came in after us was concerning, however it was soon sorted. A good selection on the menu and comfortable surroundings. Very popular with locals and visitors alike! Worth a visit.

I was in this place on Monday and a family came in and seated with children two boys about 6yrs old with football tops on one Real Madrid and one Celtic they where told unless the boy with the Celtic top on removed it they would not be served absolutely appalling the Real Madrid top was fine try telling a 6yr old to take his top off the kid was crying and really upset but the staff would not take their orders until the top was removed, eventually the mother turned the top inside out and they got served, this restaurant should be boycotted hit them were it hurts, I will never use this restaurant ever again

We had lunch in this establishment as we ordered Our drinks and food we were approached by a member of staff who said that the football top that one of the six year old boys had on had to be covered We asked which one as another six year old had a Real Madrid top on and we were told that was ok it was the celtic top that was the problem I couldn’t believe it !!! So thumbs down 👎 I’m afraid for a shocking treatment to a visitor from Canada to your establishment 😡

Never had a bad meal here. Never had bad service. Great food, great pub. Laura is fabulous, Saskia is lovely and Stewart the owner runs an excellent establishment. I look forward to coming here every time I am back. See you in July.

Great place to eat, nice friendly staff. Food great and piping hot. Ordered the chicken wings with garlic dip and the homemade chicken pakora and chose the pepper corn dip and a side order of french fries.Great prices too. Even have a special board with soup,main course and dessert on offer that day. Beautiful all round will certainly be a returning customer. Thanks to the staff and kitchen staff you are all 🌟s.
