Zest in South Lanarkshire

On a trip to Scotland, I randomly popped into Zest and had the best tuna mayo sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The bread was incredibly soft, and the tuna mayo was perfection. I still dream about that sandwich and am heartbroken I can’t have it again now that I’m back in the States.😔

Best sandwich in Biggar Service with a smile

Called in when passing by, got a roll n sausage with brown sauce n onions. Absolutely delicious, must be the best sausage I've had from a takeaway, just melts in the mouth and tastes terrific...10/10 I've been back a few times now, and can thoroughly recommend the full breakfast. £4.50 for sausage, egg, beans, bacon, black pudding and haggis and tattie scone. The quality is remarkable for the price, give it a go!

Great place for a lunchtime snack & a coffee. Had to make a couple of attempts to get served due to a couple of lingering tourist types as well as it being the school break-time, so the place was heaving (always a good sign) Had a really good bacon and Lorne sandwich baguette, and a coffee. Great service and good banter about the mad folk of Elsrickle Will use this place again if they are open next time I am passing through!

Freshly made sandwich with free choice of fillings and bread. Accessible but small. A few seats outside. Really good food. Not overpriced. Highly recommend.

I was ignored as more and more customers came in behind me and where served first. On top of that the food quality is not good at all and was over priced for what it is.

Worst place that I have ever been in. The last two times I was in I was ignored as other customers came through the door behind and where served first. But to be honest food isn't even that good and its way over prices, YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF ELSE WHERE. I will never be back and will never suggest to anyone yo buy anything here.

Wonderful place for a quick, but tasty, take away lunch. Vast selection of baguette or toasted pannini fillings and coffee with real flavour. Prices are more than fair and staff will cheer up any dull day.

Great local takeaway with wide selection of sandwich fillings, some lovely hot food, and a good number of cakes too.

Ordered a bacon and black pudding roll. Really enjoyed it, plenty of bacon and thick slice of pudding, all fresh cooked. Helpful friendly staff. Great range of products available. Recommended and will be back if in area.

Best baguette in town and always friendly service

Great food ,only put 3 stars as I was put off with the gentleman who frequently sits outside with the buggy ,but stand at doorway when the school kids are going in the gentleman smokes while standing there and therefore blowing his smoke over customers.

Excellent sausage and bacon bap and took two white chocolate and raspberry muffins away with us as recommended by the lovely staff. They were delicious thank you

Great selection of fillings, Noce quirky soups occasionally but all very tasty! Friendly staff. Well worth a visit for grabbing a great lunch.

While travelling over the Easter holidays we stopped at Zest to grab a sandwich for our boys. Lady serving us was friendly and helpful and took the time to help the children get the sandwiches they wanted. We were impressed by the choices available, pleased with the tasty sandwiches and delighted with the price.. We’ll definitely stop here again!

Brilliant place for soups. Usually two or three daily special often one old favourite and one that's a bit more querky. Lovely fresh bread rolls and a good selection of fillings, although not many veggie ones. Can bit busy at peak times, especially High School lunch time.

Great consistency in this wee sandwich bar. So clean and well cared for with a fantastic choice of fillings and rolls/breads. the home made soup is wonderful. I cant resist popping in here for lunch if I am in Biggar. very friendly too. just try though to get in before the school children who descend on this place in droves, because it is so good and reasonably priced. oh forgot to mention the cakes and tray bakes, good selection there too!

Come in here when I'm passing on the way to Edinburgh, decent sandwich bar that's a little expensive but this is due to the decent portions.

Zest offers a wide range of fillings that taste wonderful. My favourite is the fiery chicken. It's handy if you want a quick bite to eat and you get good value and portions for your money. They also offer a decent range of cakes, sweets and juice. A great local shop with a fast and friendly service.

Relación calidad-precio es buena en £3 ya que no hay muchas otras tiendas ofrecen la misma gama de la ciudad.

Small takeaway shop in the High Street. Plenty variety of fillings on display in the chill display counter for sandwiches so you'll probably see something a little different to tempt you. I had the chicken with grain mustard and grapes on a large baguette which was very tasty and at £3 good value. They also do some hot food, cakes and the usual branded snacks.

Saturday morning someone from our office stops off and picks up bacon rolls for everyone, always exceptional, loads of bacon and it's good quality stuff for a reasonable price. The baked potatoes and sandwiches are also excellent. When I'm feeling generous my dog gets a bacon sandwich as well.

Great takeaway food, they also do local deliveries. Peri peri chicken and Cajun chicken are out of this world! Coffee is excellent as well.
