Hubbie and I have been here a few times and really enjoyed the food. Have a read of their mission statement before you go - feels really good to support such a worthy cause. We've had some breakfast wraps and toasted sandwiches with soup which were all very tasty and freshly made. Has definitely become a go-to for us.

if i ever have to take someone to lunch anywhere in Perth this is my first place i consider. The food is great and the stuff are all very kinda and attentive. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing so it’s a good place to come and just chat with friends.

Five of us had a great value breakfast using local suppliers produce. The coffee was rated highly by those who chose it and there was a great selection of loose leaf teas. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Loyalty card offered, so we will be back.

Lovely little cafe with great GF/vegan options. Had a great soup and sandwich with a smoothie. Very good value for money too. Nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Not much to say really other than "it'll do". Foods cooked well ( 3 sausages had lots of rock hard bits all through them luckily i had 1 that was good). Feels a bit stingy for £10 (added sausages £1.50) as that's quite expensive for a quality breakfast in Perth.

Had a breakfast today 26/08/2023. Breakfast arrived and sausages warm at best likewise with the black pudding the mushrooms were the same and didn’t taste fresh. Even the pot of tea wasn’t as hot as it should have been. What have you got to do to be served hot food. Won’t be visiting again. 👎☹️

Great accessible café. Popped in for coffee and scone and was not disappointed. Impressed by the choice of sweet treats. Staff friendly and efficient. Really liked the accessibility aspect of the location and the toilet was pristine. Would recommend staying for lunch if you have the time.

4🌟 Atmosphere there is not too bad, there are some sofas for relaxed sitting. I had a soup & sandwich combo, soup was very plain lentil soup and sandwich a 'New York' Pastrami and cheese sandwich, where the filling had been very stingy (to say the least) and presented, I would say without love but all was freshly prepped. I did like the slaw though (very colourful, that made a little difference). Not the cheapest of bistros though.

We stopped at the Giraffe Cafe on our way from Edinburgh to Inverness and found it to be very pleasant. We got the mushroom soup of the day which was delicious. We also ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and it was excellent. The service was wonderful, and the people running the cafe weee so sweet and courteous. We would definitely stop here again!

BEST scrambled egg I have ever tasted travel over 50min to come here just for scrambled egg!! Lovely wee quiet place definitely recommend....... Compliments to the chef.

Friendly down to earth warm hospitality throughout. We started with table for two which grew to three then five. The staff didn’t bat an eye lid and were obliging at all times. Food was well presented and prepared, as well as being tasty. Orders arrived promptly. Overall a fun experience. Till the next time

Great place to meet up casually as we did with a few friends when visiting Perth for the Chess Congress. Good cafe, food, home baking and as a bonus sat outside in the glorious sunshine. Va Bene.

We visited this cafe last week with my niece and nephew on a family visit to Perth. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The menu had a great selection of tasty veggie and vegan options (we were spoilt for choice!) and they were even happy to accommodate our little dog. The overall atmosphere was great and we will definitely return next time we're in Perth. Highly recommended 😊👍

Our first time in Perth. After a busy morning we were seeking for a comfy place to have some tasty lunch. We spotted this Cafe and decided to go in. I am a fussy eater but I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the food here. We had Fish and chips and a buttermilk chicken burger. My burger was served in a delicious bun with super fluffy chips and freshly made purple cabbage coleslaw. It was very good value for money. Tasty, very well presented, freshly made, very good portion size. Too much for me if anything. Hubby was well pleased with his food too. The coffee (we had a cappuccino and a late) isn't great but is wasn't expensive (£2,5-/+). Place seem very clean and well kept (clean well stocked bathroom upstairs). Calm and lovely atmosphere. The only aspect that bothered me was the bell at the door. We sat right by the window and the main door entrance. For me personally it was very loud and disrupting every time a client enters/exits. I think it has a very negative impact on the lovely vibe the whole place has. Service was great, reasonably quick (given the food was made there and then and not premade). I was super impressed to see the Cafe has hired and is training people with intellectual disabilities. The lovely girl that served us was super sweet and excellent at her job. The lady that welcomed and took our order was very kind and warm towards her and us and same for the gentleman that served our food. I 100% recommend this Cafe if you want some delicious simple and tasty lunch and a comfy place to catch up with your friend or family. I will definitely go back if I find myself in Pert again. Thank you to the Giraffe Cafe Team- you are doing a Brilliant job!

Friendly neighbourhood cafe with a good choice of interesting dishes. Salads, sandwiches and square meals. The Cumberland sausage and mash was satisfying.

Giraffe Cafe offers a clean and comfortable environment with plenty to eat and drink. This was our first stop when visiting Perth - we found the cafe via Google maps and wanted to see what the fuss was about, we weren't disappointed! Our orders came quickly and perfectly hot, we all really enjoyed our food. I recommend the soup of the day (which was courgette and potato today) and the English breakfast (pictured), although I must note that I requested mine without the black pudding. Thank you for the excellent service! Toilet with disabled facilities is also available here.

What a lovely cafe. Turns out I turned up before opening, and I was still welcomed and invited to a seat to shelter from the rain. I had a coffee while the kitchen prepped, before diving into the Full Butcher's Breakfast. What a meal. Bacon, sausage, tattie scones, baked beans... Oh. My. Word. Divine. And the hostess was so incredibly welcoming. Thank you for such a lovely time.

Nice enough place with attentive staff. Only disappointment was being charged full price of full breakfast when i only asked for & got half of the items !!! Also, had to ask for 3rd pot of tea as there was delay with food, although to be fair, it was exlpained their would be a delay for whatever reason.

Only visited for an hour's chat with work colleagues over a cup of tea. The tea was nice, they had artificial sweetener when I asked for it and it was a good environment for chatting - with background music at just the right volume. Just what the doctor ordered! The photo shown here is somewhat confusing to me as it looks bigger than it really is. That said there's plenty of space for the number of tables and it was a pleasant environment.

Stopped off for a coffee and to feed our baby. Cafe was comfortable and staff were welcoming and friendly. Coffee was good too ☺️

BTW this is not the right picture. If you visit Giraffe Cafe you can do two things. Enjoy freshly cooked delicious food made with local ingredients served by lovely staff in peaceful surroundings and secondly help a really worthwhile local cause and young folks get work experience. Enjoy!

Lovely place! Kind staff, made us feel very welcome. And even did some table Tetris for us who came in with two prams. Good was excellent - decent portion sizes for a decent price. Thank you, and we will be back!

Nice breakfast, friendly staff, clean and tidy, only slight complaint would be break quite small.

I took my 10 year old son for breakfast here and it was lovely. I decided to visit as Id heard about all the great work they do for the community. The Breakfast was top notch and the staff were attentive and cheerful. Was a very lovely experience all round and will definitely be back to try out the range of cakes my son was eyeing up ! Extra points to the staff member with the curly hair who was full of bounce and sparkle!

Our first visit to this quaint little establishment...Loved the experience and the food... Will definitely return and recommend without hesitation..

Popped in for a late lunch. It was our first (and won't be our last) visit. Staff were attentive and helpful. I had the home made vegetable soup with fresh oatcakes which was delicious. My husband had a sandwich and a cup of Scotch broth - again all home made, fresh and delicious. Highly recommended

Food and service absolutely amazing. Cafe lovely and warm; a perfect retreat from the busy street outside. Just the perfect place to watch the world go by. All very clean and efficient. My soup with farmhouse bread was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream soooooo good. Going for steak baguette next time. So many delicious choices!

What a great concept! This cafe does not only serve delicious vegan options (give the vegan chocolate mousse a try!) but is also a place where inclusion of people with a disability is put to the forefront! Lovely little place in the city centre. Great breakfast choice, good service and very reasonably priced. Added bonus that it is also dog friendly/ Will definitely be back.

We visited here for lunch today. A nice warm casual welcome. They had a lovely high chair, books and crayons which was perfect for entertaining our 13 month old. The menu makes for tough decisions at reasonable prices. Service and food were quick and the quality of food is spot on. Coffees were delicious also. Will defiantly be back.

Whenever I have a mid week day off work I make a point of visiting giraffe for breakfast Full Scottish breakfast for me, but I’ve heard other customers ask for random dishes and the staff go out of their way to accommodate them I love the social enterprise behind this cafe, but if you ignore that, then this is a cafe with staff and food who are on par with any restaurant/cafe in Perth

Beautifully refurbished. Food was excellent. We had BLT rolls and tray bakes and everything was delicious and good value for money. Coffee was good and a good range of food and beverages on the menu, including a children’s menu. Lovely friendly staff.
