Best in the whole of Perth by far. We have always had a great meal, we tend to get it delivered and it's always hot and crispy.

Lovely fish and chips. Abrupt service.

It is quite unfair and unethical on the part of the shop to not display that they use cow fat/ tallow for frying. Usually the shops use vegetable oil, which can not disturb anyone's personal or religious ideas about eating or not eating beef. We wouldn't touch this shop with a barge pole again.

It's a fantastic chip shop and worth stopping at if going through perth. I had the chicken supper with batter, which was delicious.

Excellent service with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Very tasty. We'll be back the next time we're in Perth.

Always come here when I come to Perth. Haven't been for a few years but nothing has changed. The fish supper was fantastic. Lovely fresh fish with a crispy batter. Came back a second night and had the battered, smoked sausage. Again delicious. The staff are great and its always busy which is a good sign.

Fresh cooked everything, impeccable and polite service, this is not a chippy but a fish and chip specialist.

Without a doubt the best fish and chip shop in Perth and surrounding area. Mike and the team are amazing. Moved from Australia not that long ago and they were very patient with my lack of knowledge on how to order. It might sound dumb but for example "fish supper" is not a term we use or had heard of. Many more but that's the best example. Thanks again to the gang for amazing food and service. 6 stars out of 5.

Have used this chippy for many years now. We have to go to the other end of town for it but it is worth it. We have never had anything that was other than perfect. Michael is amazing and remembers every single order and what order they come in. Such a hard worker along with his staff. Thank you.

Traditional Scottish chippy with the usual warm and hilarious owners. We dropped in on a rather grim scottish day, but our day was made better by the owners. We had the breaded haddock, portions were generous and delicious. Whenever I'm driving to north Scotland this is going to be my go to pitstop.

Best fish and chips in our area, staff absolutely amazing and Mike the owner has a computer for a brain , remembers his regulars names and orders even when 20 people in the shop . Food is always done fresh to order and is brilliant, would highly recommend.

Been here 3 times now everything’s good We come from Glasgow and my husband says his fritters are the best he’s ever tasted. Also probably the cheapest chippy we have ever been to.

Would give 0 stars if I could. it took just shy of 3 hours for our food to be delivered at no point did anyone try to reach out and let us know our food would be very late and when phoning to ask when we would get our food we were told it’s not there fault

Sept 22 Have had many a good supper from here in the past. Had covid so ordered a delivery, fish and haggis suppers. The food was not fresh and the chips were dry and soft. Won't be ordering on line again and probably think twice about going and collecting food fresh. Sept 23 Owner replied to my review above and apologisedand invited us back. Went back today after a returning from a short holiday in Skye. What a difference. Watched the fish being cooked, 2 pieces of fish and a good helping of chips for £9. Fish and chip company you have redeemed yourself. Suppers were excellent. 5 stars.

Watery macaroni. Cold chips and the batter was very poor. This used to be a good place back in the day - and I assume a previous owner but is now very poor indeed. Also service was anything but friendly. Would certainly not recommend and we certainly won't be back in a hurry.

today just after 4.30. have been going their for app 15 years. fish was grossly overcooked. batter brick hard. very dissapointed.

A really worthwhile stopover in Perth.

This place is awesome. We had no idea what to order (as Americans visiting the UK for the first time, this being our first proper chippy) but the employee helped us a lot. You could tell he really cared about serving good food. We ordered fish, scampi, a steak pie, and chips and they threw in a curry for free. I also asked about the deep fried Mars bar as it wasn't on the menu but they said they would do it up if I wanted. After ordering we asked where we can eat it and were given directions to the nearby park, where we saw another man who had been ordering there and he told us we found the best chippy in Perth. We can't wait to come back to Scotland and plan to hit this place up again.

Hands down the best chippy in Perth.

So having only been here through the week and never been disappointed i thought we would visit on a rare Saturday off. The queue was right out the door on arrival, lots of hungry punters happily queuing up ! The owner runs the shop like a military operation, very very organised and quick and efficient service seems to be the norm, even when it’s heaving ! Our fish suppers were excellent as in the past , freshly cooked to order, good portion sizes and tasty as ! Lovely crisp batter, no sogginess! Recommended stop if in Perth

currently the best chippy in Perth. I live in Fife but always pop in for a fish supper after being up North. Usually always starving from the long drive and always get served quick and staff are friendly.

Fish and Chips Company okazało się strzałem w dziesiątkę, załoga bardzo wyrozumiała jeśli chodzi o nasz polski akcent, porcja supper okazała się ogromna, 2 kawałki ryby i frytki za niecałe 9£. Uważać przy zamówieniu kiedy pytają bo w standardzie frytki z solą i OCTEM😋 uważam tylko że frytki trochę za mało słone ale i tak smaczne. I na koniec uwaga ! Jeśli jeszcze zastanawia się ktoś czy skusić się na Szkocką "kaszankę" to haggies wymiata! Bije na łeb na szyję całe frytki. Więc jeśli ktoś lubi takie smaki to koniecznie musi skosztować!!! Wersja non spicy i tak jest mega fajnie doprawiona.

Zamówiłem tradycyjne danie Fish & Chips. Za niecałe 10£ dostałem naprawdę dużą porcje frytek i dwie porcje sporej ryby. Frytki pyszne, ryba też ale według mnie za mało przyprawiona (za mało soli w rybie). Tak czy owak lokal polecam. A to nie jest lokal w którym można usiąść. Kupujesz i wychodzisz. Ale obok niedaleko jest jakby rondo z dwiema ławkami, niestety bez zadaszenia więc jak będzie padać to człowiek nie usiądzie. Polecam, bo tanio, dużo i smacznie. A i haggies było pyszne bo też było zamówione na próbę.

We go out of our way to get our chippie from here. The food is all amazing ( I'm slowly working my way through the menu) the place is spotless and watching the staff work is like watching a well oiled machine. All the staff are very friendly and incredibly polite

Wow, what a place. Really, really good fish n chips of very high quality. Very clean, tight running ship. Professional, friendly and very busy at peak times (phone in your order ;-) ). Plus there's proper burger, and pizzas... oh and the jalapeno poppers are yummy. Can't go wrong here. Very lucky to have this place in Craigie.

This was supposed to be the best fish in chips in Perth. But it was just average in my mind. The fish was pretty dry and not cooked fresh.

Pre-order fish suppers for 4 tonight. Picked them up, took them home. They were piping hot and absolutely delicious. Can thoroughly recommend to all.

Excellent fish and chips, the best we've had in a long time. Really nicely seasoned batter and super crispy edges. We got it delivered to home and live a way out of town just outside of Scone, and it arrived piping hot. Really impressed, would absolutely order again! Delivery driver was really nice too. Five stars!

We have enjoyed fish & chips from here lots of times in the past and mostly were really good , but the last few times the fish was really thin and was mostly batter. , not enjoyable at all , won't be back i'm afraid.

Amazing gluten free Fish and Chips. Popped in for a quick lunch during our train stop over. The owner was so lovely and takes real care in ensuring no cross contamination. Highly recommend.

Feel so lucky to have this great fish and chip shop so close by. Apart from the fish and chips being really tasty, the shop is spotlessly clean and Mike has his young staff very well trained. Having read good reviews wev stopped for the first time here at around 5.45pm on a Sunday evening. Very busy. No orderly queuing system and obviously orders being taken by phone, as well as deliveries and the in-shop orders being made up ahead of us, left us with no idea if we were being attended to or not. A phone customer came in to complain having been forgotten about when making the call. The "owner" disciplined the young lad, who took the order, in front of everyone. The serving staff of two young lads, three young girls and a adult female were having to be constantly directed by the "owner" in everything they were doing. A wrong order was given out and staff were sent out into the street to catch the recipient. Staff again were quietly berated for not providing the correct orders, for making up orders in the wrong sequence or taking the wrong money. Absolutely manic. On the plus side our order was taken timeously and the food, when we got it after 25mins, was good.

Great food with lots of options cooked brilliantly. If you have a dietary need just ask the staff who are very helpful. Separate GF cooking area but you wouldn't be able to tell the batter was any different. It really was that good.

Best Fish and Chips in Perthshire

They have a lunchtime menu which is great but they didn't say that the curry sauce would be poured all over the chips drenching them in curry sauce. If I knew this I would have asked for the curry sauce in a separate container. Really spoiled my chips as the curry sauce wasn't great.

I’m from Scotland living in London. I was on a break. I was advised from friends that live in Perth. that this is the best fish and chip shop in Perth!!!!!! Wow, I couldn’t have been more disgusted and disappointed, with the fish and chips that I had….. I was stunned when I cut into the fish to find there was NO fish only batter that had been over cooked. The fish & chips tasted stale. This was definitely not freshly cooked. The portion was very minimal. I’m in Scotland often and have always had great standard fish&chips. The one I had from your company was sub standard I couldn’t wait to get home to London and have freshly made fish and chips.

If I could give zero stars I would! Called order in, and was told to collect it 18:05 but unfortunately I was 5 mins late to collect my order due to our child returning from a party late, these things can happen. So said to the young boy my name and he took payment I waited for my order and as I was waiting the owner was referring to other customers by what colour of top they were wearing etc but when another employee asked the owner who's order was next the owner shouted out to the girl who held us up by being late with the telephone order and the 2 girls looked at me when he said it must of been embarrassing for them, chip shop was packed was very unprofessional and rude I will not tolerate being spoken to like that and I won't be returning which is a shame as we visited this chip shop regularly normal order is for 7 people but it was just for me and my partner and his grandmother this time. Food was good but owner is just rude!

They do one of the best fish and chips of Scotland, with big portions and little price. And they are so nice and kind. We recommend it.

Can't understand why people give this place such good reviews. I've tried it 3 times now and each time it's been so disappointing. Luke warm tasteless chips and a plateful of batter. It was meant to be fish but I'm still trying to find it !! It was so thin and dry and the fish had just hardened against the batter. Certainly won't be another visit. I gave it the benefit of the doubt before as I don't like to criticise after a couple of visits but enough is enough there's plenty of better places at cheaper prices.
