Had an excellent tasty lunch here today while visiting the Pitlochry area. 2 course for £24.95 each. We had starter and mains. All tasted excellent. Great portion size for a cheaper menu. Excellent presentation from The chef and excellent service from the lovely waitress and manager. Would definitely go back. Would recommend.

Loved this restaurant, a lovely old fashioned yet modern feel to the service. Generous portions and wonderfully tasty dishes. The wine was beautiful too. Professional in all aspects. Will definitely return here soon.

Great restaurant with excellent cuisine! Staff very friendly, food really good. (Black Angus Beef Burger!!) A little too much Italian for me personally...that's why only 4 🌟. Recommendation 100%👌🏼

We were there for a special occasion and ate there 2 evenings in a row. On the first evening I had spaghetti carbonara and on the second evening it was a pre-ordered menu consisting of starter, main course and dessert. My conclusion from these evenings Eat: If you order medium or well done, the meat still comes out almost rare-medium rare. You should not offer pasta if it is not prepared correctly. The spaghetti carbonara was basically boiled spaghetti with a lightly spiced cream sauce and fried pieces of ham and some kind of cheese (not parmesan). For some the dishes were almost cold and for others e.g. Sauce in the burger. Service: As soon as there are more than 30 guests, the staff is quite overwhelmed, but this is not due to a lack of staff, but rather due to simple unprofessionalism and a lack of initiative. There were almost 40 of us one evening and it was chaos. It was neither known at which tables which dishes were ordered, nor was it ensured that at least everyone at one table could eat at about the same time. Ambience: The atmosphere is very rustic, but charming. It's a shame that the furniture and some lighting should be replaced. I recommend that no one have this experience and that the manager look for professional staff. Or at least send the chef to cooking class, maybe he'll be able to learn. @Gordon Ramsay Please try and tell them!

Not impressed, the food was mediocre and the service was the worst I've experienced. Being in the food service industry I'm fully aware how to treat your guests. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated then moved to another table because they were having two large parties they were trying to accommodate. It literally took half an hour to get our drinks, then they served out meals within 10 mins after ordering which is fine but the whole meal was rushed as we were out within the hour of arriving. I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews 🤔

Visited on Friday 11th April, we had two starters and two mains. It is very easy to tell when the food you are served isn't fresh, and this was the case here. The chunky chips were still part raw and the haddock was a pile of greasy mush. The lamb shank was tepid and the haggis bon bons far too greasy. My first and only visit, £71 for frozen meals is extortion.

The food and service were very good. My girlfriend had the lamb shank and I had the steak pie 🥧. We then shared dessert. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was also very tasty. All in all, highly recommended.

Best fish and chips we’ve had. It’s a family run joint, staff is super friendly and accommodates any dietary requirements. Would definitely visit again!

Fantastic meal at the bridge restaurant, their home made chicken liver pate was amazing and their seafood pasta was to die for. My husband had the fish n chips and theirs were possible the best chips I have ever tasted. My only comment is that if you just want to go in for a drink, all tables are set up for food but other than that excellent food and super friendly staff. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant 😁

My wife had a Classic Aberdeen Angus burger and I had a Bridge Burger with Haggis. Both exceptionally tasty, well presented and service was to a high standard. The salad dressing was amazing and very tasty. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Large premises. It has an outdoor terrace. Cozy atmosphere and very well attended. The typical food of the country had in its favor that it was very well prepared, especially the haggis and the meat pie. Recommended if you are visiting this typical town. Price: €36/person

AMAZING FOOD & SUPERB VALUE FOR MONEY! We recently had dinner at The Bridge Restaurant after seeing a card in the hall of our bnb. Wow! The food was honestly incredible, I had the venison steak and my partner had the fish and chips. Both dishes were fresh and super tasty. The red wine was lovely and the orange sorbet finished the meal perfectly. Niko was a really attentive host and even stayed later past closing/his finishing time to make sure we didn't feel rushed. Honestly, this was the best meal price and quality wise that we had on our break away and I would not hesitate in recommending The Bridge to anyone else. There's something for everyone on the menu and it really is a hidden gem 😊 5 stars!

We were travelling home from Inverness to England and needed to stop to give the dogs a break. My daughter suggested a stop in Pitlochry. Across from the car park was The Bridge Restaurant so we went in for lunch. It was spotless, the loos were spotless and the food and service were excellent. Would recommend any time👍🏻

Had a super meal. Recommend the Carbonara and deep fried prawns! Good range of hearty food and salads. Homemade puds.

We had a nice dinner here recently, and certainly this place gets a lot of great reviews. Overall it was fairly good but not out of this world. The best dishes we had with the starters - prawns and smoked salmon. The biggest let down was the wine list. For these prices you expect some decent wine options. I love Australian wines, but yellowtail is not a great example and not what I would expect to see on a menu for this sort of restaurant. And at close to £30 a bottle that is ridiculous. We skipped the wine…

A real find! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the choice of menu was excellent. There were 5 in our party, we each chose a different main course and could easily have chosen anything else on the menu. Haggis bon bons and squid were interesting starters: the Venison was cooked to perfection and the jus was a fantastic accompaniment. The lamb simply fell off the bone and tasted superb, haddock tasted as if it was minutes from the sea, chicken supreme lived up to its name and the burger was the best advertisement possible for local beef. And all with choice seasonal vegetables. A really enjoyable evening!

We ended up here with the family on our way to Glasgow and it was great. The food is very good, and the service impeccable. In addition, everything was very clean, they have hand cream in the bathroom, which is very much appreciated in the cold weather. You have a parking lot right in front to park. A pleasure!!

Overpriced for the quality of the food. Pie resembled a scotch pie you get from Greggs (albeit with better quality meat) vs traditional pub pie. We also had the salmon which was tough and calamari was chewy. Staff were attentive and could tell we were not happy so discounted the bill.

Fantastic dinner, everything is so fresh and delicious, and you can tell it's not been frozen. I had smoked salmon for a starter, and venison as my main which is actually hunted within the town! The staff were very friendly and accommodating too. You do pay a premium for this restaurant, but it's worth the extra penny for sure and worth the visit

Absolutely perfect in every way. We arrived mid afternoon in our motorhome and spoke to the owner to ask if we could reserve a table for dinner and stay over in our motorhome in the car park. The owner was very kind and welcoming. When we returned for dinner the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The food was superb. We ordered the smoked salmon trio starter and venison main dish from the specials menu, and the haggis bon bon’s and original burger from the regular menu. Everything tasted sensational and the attention to detail was very impressive. Sadly they are fully booked for tomorrow evening or we’d have booked again! Thank you for such a great night. Highly recommended

Overall meal was really good! Soup of the day was good, burgers were good, and the sandwiches ordered were also good. BLT and the salmon sandwiches were fabulous with the bacon and salmon smoked. Most of the dishes came with a small side of salad and chips (fries)

Nice little restaurant in Pitlochry. A good range of tasty Scottish food. Not overpriced for this very touristy town.

Had an early Christmas Lunch pn the 24th with a party of 8 (family). Welcoming and excellent service, the food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Fish was cocked to perfection as was the lamb shank which fell off the bone. The portion size is just perfect and the price equally. I will be back but outside of the summer tourist season.

Delicious food and very hospitable staff. Prices are a bit on the higher end, well worth it though. You get a 20% discount if you have booked a stay with Westland Hotel.

This was such a pleasant experience. Will definitely recommend this place. On our trip to pitlochry we stopped by. This place looked so welcoming We had no reservations. Still they accomodated us. And the dinner was sooooooooo good. The lamb dish was the star. The sauce in it was fabulous. The seafood pasta tasted nice. ABC salmon was good too Overall a nice place to eat. The ambience also was nice. Service was satisfactory in all ways. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a delicious meal! Warm Scottish brie was delicious to start, the Lamb and stew with 'lid' also tasted great. Cheese cake for dessert, delicious. The service is also good and very friendly. In short: recommended!

A group of us had a lovely meal this evening before going to the Enchanted Forest. We all had different meals and all were delicious, lovely presentation and was very quick to arrive. The service was exceptional too.

Absolutely incredible food! We were a party of four and all of us had starters, mains and desserts plus drinks. I couldn't fault anything, every single dish was spot on, flavourful, no need to add salt or pepper on anything. The service was very good, although it was a Wednesday and it was very busy - booking ahead might be helpful.

Enjoyed the food. Good range of choice on rhenu. Tables quite close together resulting in waiting staff squeezing through. Somewhat lacking in atmosphere. Not saying that we wouldn't return.

This restaurant is in a great location just next to the parking lot and has some great recipes to share. We had the lamb shank and seafood pasta. Both were great portions and satisfying. I started with the Greek salad which was also very tasty.

The Bridge is a nice, quaint restaurant with a good atmosphere and fine food. I have the Homemade Scottish and Steak pie, and the battered fried squid.

I had the arancini to start and the steak pie for mains. I was more than impressed with the service and food quality. I personally don’t like mashed potatoes so asked to change for the roast and they were so accommodating. The presentation of all the food was amazing and the service was quick. My boyfriend had the pate and chicken burger and was equally impressed. Would recommend to anyone!

Lovely atmosphere but some of the food was disappointing. Seafood pasta was over cooked, breaded scampi didn’t match the menu description, steak pie had good flavor but had a large piece of inedible gristle in it. Chicken supreme was moist and tasty. Beetroot gravlax was very tasty. Calamari wasn’t crispy. Service seemed overwhelmed. Wanted to take the whole table order from drinks to mains at once. Drinks did not come first, had to ask 2 different servers for our drinks. Wasn’t provided table water until half way through the meal.

Visited at lunchtime to find it very quite with only one table of three, the restaurant is a bit off the main street which I presume is the reason for it being quiet but I did notice a few people coming in and booking tables. The dining area and toilets are spotlessly clean, service friendly and quick and the portions big and made up of quality ingredients. I will definitely be visiting again.

We didn't take any pictures as we just wanted to leave, one waitress did not speak English so when asking for advice she just smiled and said yes, foor was not the best, starter was good but the main was a let down, no ales at the bar and the drinks where not the best, we all had the same homemade steak pie, all our veg was undercooked and the homemade steak pies where like the ones from our butchers. Don't think there home made, if they where then am impressed to get them all the same, for what we all had it was overpriced, shame as I was looking forward to it, 4 people £146.80.

We ordered the lamb shank, caeser salad and risotto. Food was generally good. Service was good and efficient. Restaurant was busy even for a Monday evening.

Food was amazing. Took a while to get service and a long time to get our food. But the club sandwich was worth the wait. In my opinion the staff weren't that attentive or friendly.
