Excellent service and lovely meal for a member of our familys' special birthday. The manageress couldn't do enough for us , which made the event so memorable. Will be back and will recommend it to everyone. Excellent visit.

from first ordering on phone app at 9.30pm, order did not arrive till 10.50pm. Order was estimated to arrive by 10.30. Order was lukewarm, not very appetising. I am not happy & will NOT be ordering from Blue Lagoon again. I attempted to call, phone wrang & wrang & wrang, no one answered!

It's a chain pub that does reasonable food for normal folks at a reasonable price, but it's good at it. Food was good for the price. It was served with a smile and drinks prices are great. Selection was good small portions available. It is busy so I would book if you want to get in. Seats outside for that fantastic Scottish summer weather (i mean it). Staff were nice and friendly. Free.parking available. (It used to be very poor in here but what a change. Amazing). Well done to all the staff/management for the huge improvement. I will be back

There's always something inherently cheerful about the Green Welly Stop. Perhaps it's the name. Anyhoo, it's a tourist retail spot selling clothes and trinkets, with an attached restaurant, toilets, and plenty of free parking. It's a bit pricy, but the staff are great. (We had a good laugh over '500 miles'!) Also on the same site next door is a Londis type shop for the more prosaic items like bread and milk etc. Overall a really pleasant and useful stop. Good food excellent service. Warm friendly atmosphere staff very attentive and gave time to chat and make us feel welcome. Colin the manager should be proud of his team .

Staff here were so nicehh! The food was amazing, chicken schnitzel was something different to try and the chef nailed it 👌 chunky chips were just cooked to perfection. Hubby loved his burger and his apple and blackberry crumble. Mango and passionfruit sundae was phenomenal 🫶 washed down with a delicious peach and raspberry mojto!

My favourite Premier Inn delivered again! Great food, cold lager and a wee birthday surprise for my colleague celebrating his 50th. Thanks to John, Kayleigh and the crew. Hoping to be back soon.

Excellent service thank you Katarina,food. Was very good and tasty minor issue with the peppercorn sauce that was promptly and efficiently dealt with superbly. A couple of minor changes to the meals were requested and again dealt with very effectively without any issues. Will definitely be back if we are in the area. Salad bar selection very good and fresh and appealing

It's fine. Nice for a break for dinner when you don't want to cook. They do a 2 4 1 monday to Thursday All the staff are really nice

Came here on a recommendation but was disappointed by the service or lack of service. The place is lovely and has a nice holiday feel to it … so I was excited to try it out. I opted for coffee and cake to see what it was like before making a dinner reservation. Initially trying to get a waitress/waiter was difficult as the table next to me discovered to as they tried to order more drinks. Eventually I got my coffee (not extra hot as ordered) so had to order another to finish with my cake. This time it was even harder to get served. I stopped a young woman whom I presumed was a waitress but instead she assured me she would send someone over to take my order. 10 mins past by and so I stopped another waitress who was taking an order from guests who had just arrived. This time my coffee was perfect … about 10 minutes later another coffee arrived! I explained I had already had it and was just finished. However, when I got my bill I had been charged for three!! They did rectify the bill without apology! I was looking forward to coming for dinner but feel this experience has put me off. So it’s on hold for now!

First time visitor to The Boatyard, Lochwinnoch & very poor service. No waiter/waitress service when dining outside, requiring customers to order & pay upfront at the bar which had only one person serving. Zero flexibility when it came to menu choices, but the real rub came when they sneakily charged me £40 the following day for no reason. Still trying to get this money back with an explanation & apology despite numerous calls & emails. Would not recommend.

We had the chateaubriand for sharing it was outstanding we enjoyed every mouthful delicious. The service was excellent the staff were all lovely and very attentive at a perfect level.
