Came here because couldn't get into its sister pub the windmill in tannochside. Thank God we couldn't or we wouldn't have found this wee gem. Serves the same food as the windmill but alot better cooked and alot better service. Staff were very polite. Steak was cooked perfect. Actual fact everything was perfect. Goodbye windmill hello springcroft :)

Came in with few of my friends for a dinner was served by Lesley lovely wee woman the food was delicious and quite cheep compared to other places. Deffo coming back here next time.

Vino al Springcroft para una cena de cumpleaños con algunos amigos y no podía calificar la experiencia lo suficientemente alta. La comida era irreal y el servicio era aún mejor. Una chica encantadora llamada Deanna nos estaba cuidando y no podría haber hecho un mejor trabajo si lo intentaba. Ella era muy atento con nosotros, nada era un problema y siempre nos habló con una sonrisa. En general, una muy buena noche y volvería en un santiamén.

Llevó a mi novia para algo de comida y bebidas con una gran relación calidad-precio! Los cócteles eran absolutamente encantadores. Sin duda volveremos!

Had a main and a starter, couldn't finish either, but that's not a complaint, more of a compliment! Good food and drinks for a great price, service is on point as well.

Go quite a lot basic bar food staff plesant and good prices. Only thing if you go at night on a weekend for something to eat the noise from the bar can be really loud singing shouting when peopke are trying to chat and havr a meal can be off putting and nothing is said to quieten it down

I was visiting family and my folks had arranged with Lesley, one of the friendly staff, that we could get breakfast as a special occasion as they don’t normally do breakfasts. We couldn’t have enjoyed it by more than we did. All the staff were friendly & helpful and it was a lovely breakfast as well. Thanks to Lesley and the whole team for looking after us so well.

Great place was here tonight with family. The waiteess Maria was amazing very kind & helpful.

Comidas familiares de gran valor! Personal amable y buen ambiente. Visité el Springcroft el 6 de noviembre a las 7 pm el restaurante estaba muy ocupado con pocas fiestas de cumpleaños! Pedido bebidas y comida una comida tomó más tiempo de lo habitual, pero estábamos encantados de charlar mientras esperaba! El pescado a patatas fritas es de gran valor en dos platos principales por £ 11. 50 trato y las parrillas mixtas eran sabrosas pero sobrecarga de cebollas! ¡Sólo es crítica! Desiertos fueron el sundae de Cadbury y el sundae de fiesta que casi lograron. Lesley, miembro del personal era encantador como siempre y se las arregló para charlar a pesar de estar muy ocupado. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita y bien vale la pena el costo x

Not like it use to be staff not so friendly. Many tables waiting to be cleared..children outside in the rain pulling the parasols out and throwing them about.

Used the app so service wasn't a 5 still acceptable though and it was pretty decent food.

Been twice this week with partner we both bought Mac cheese,2 for £11 pound plus chips to share and 2 cokes for under £20 food was first class and nice atmosphere

Otra fantástica comida familiar en nuestro local favorito. Aislin es la mejor que es tan burbujeante y siempre chatea con nosotros. No puedo superar el valor con 2 comidas por £ 11 junto con comida para niños por £ 1 y todo siempre sabe increíble. A los niños les encanta construir tu propio helado. Lo que obtienes por el dinero es increíble. Venimos todo el tiempo y nunca nos han decepcionado.

Great service great value food was lovely

Did not book prior to our visit when there was a Special discount offer on Main courses but managed to get table in the Bar area. Despite being so busy the food did not take too long and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Great value and comfortable surroundings with very pleasant staff. Well worth a visit x

We love The Springcroft and visit regularly. Visited again last week with a large group to celebrate a birthday and as always couldn't fault it. The staff are always very accommodating and the foods always tasty and great value. Tandoori chicken skewers were a highlight. Looking forward to our next visit already!!

Had a lovely lunch at the springcroft today . Nice food and reasonable prices and lovely staff with easy access and well kept grounds which were being maintained as we were leaving 🫶🏼 definitely worth the day out and will be back

Fantastic wee pub/restaurant. Tall guy with beard, the manager, I believe. He’s pretty cool. Also, the little guy with the hair behind the bar, he’s awesome. Poured the best Tennent’s I’ve actually ever had.

Went for a Sunday lunch and although the meal was nice the noise from the bar was horrendous the barmaid asked the guys who were playing pool to stop cursing and swearing but unfortunately was met with a torrent of abuse.Think it's time to get rid of the pool table and make this a nice family bar and restaurant.

Had a visit with family 9 adults and 5 children we booked in advance and arrived on time placed our order and were advised a 30 minute wait for food which was fine because it was busy. 40 minutes later the member of staff who served us at the till came to our table and advised that one of the choices were out of stock would we like something else. Why does it take 40 minutes to realise this

This was our first visit to this location, first impression, the building looks tired, my wife and I did not know how the service work, we booked a table for 18.30 and sat until 19.05 no one came near us to take our order we did not know you had to order at the bar. So after we did eventually get our order done, the food came to us, unfortunately both my wife's meal and mine were very bland tastless, not very good pub meal, I make better and tastier food at home, it was very obvious the the food was from packets and certainly not fresh. We certainly will not be back at this location, tasteless food and poor communication

Regular visitor, great friendly staff & good value for money

I was in the pub for the first time on 19/06/2024. I was impressed . The menu is extensive with lots of choice . The house white wine is very drinkable and great value for money . The staff are friendly professionals, and the service was prompt .

Your cleaning standards could be a lot better toilets had faeces over the pan in 3 toilets and when told a member of staff they said oh the cleaner was in this morning so i take it it was left til the next day ...disgusting !!

We called two days before a funeral, to check they could take 15 of us straight after the funeral for drinks and food. They opened half an hour early for us, very accommodating. Food was beautiful, we will back for sure.

Came here for lunch when the new menu was out. There are some changes but all still very reasonably priced. The skewers (new) salmon and fish were all delicious and everyone in the party received their food piping hot. The desserts are amazing and again all very reasonably priced. I must admit that one of the reasons we go here for lunch is the welcome we receive and the service staff provide to us and indeed all of their customers. There is nothing too much bother for them. You wouldn’t receive this service in some high end establishments. The Springcroft caters for the local community and beyond and their presence is acknowledged by those who frequent it because of their food but most of all the welcome you receive by all staff and their service. Colin and his staff are a credit to the Springcroft and their head office.

Come here regularly and tonight was abysmal food was hot and tasty but think the chefs need menu training my partner had the chicken sharer which was poor portion size for the price I had the layin it on the chick which was presented like it had been thrown together it had cheese sauce splattered all over the plate & two main ingredients onion rings & bbq sauce missing terrible

I took two friends to this out of the way restaurant, to try somewhere different and I am delighted to say it was very pleasant indeed, we were given quick service,our meals and a drink were served efficiently,top marks for making my birthday a happy one. Mr John burns.

Normally would give this place 4or5 stars but we had to eat yesterday with the strong smell of paint wafting over our table. Not amused :- as both of us have lung problems and suffered for the rest of the day.

We came here for lunch, the food came quite fast warm and the staff are nice. The food itself self was delightful. However when we entered the pub//restaurant the bar staff didn’t say hello or if we were to sit ourselves. We asked this and was told yeah. The place opened at 12 and this was at 12.10 the seating area we picked hadn’t been cleaned and there was polo mints and napkins next to the seat we sat at. The skirting boards and radiators were dirty too. I do feel if this place has a good scrub it would be a great place to sit relax and enjoy. However having said that the food was again extremely lovely.

Food was lovely and great overs. Springcrofts decor looks quite tired. Even a fresh coat of paint would make a difference. The staff were lovely made sure we had a nice night. Staff made us aware of app which I now have .looking forward to our next visit.

Staff were amazing! It was super busy and they were clearly under a lot of pressure but they couldn't have been nicer, nothing was too much trouble!

Took my daughter to the Springcroft for a bite to eat. She didn’t want the accompaniments which came with the main. Nathan, the server, advised it was no hassle to swap the sides for something else There was also 40% off the main courses, such a fantastic saving. Nathan, the server, could not have been more helpful than he was. He ran through dietary requirements as I am coeliac. He was informative of what options I could have and alternatives to what I couldn’t. Nathan was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. I find it extremely difficult at times to eat out but I didn’t experience this at the Springcroft. Thanks to the Staff and to Nathan for all of your help, we will definitely be back.

Hi , went in yesterday (Monday) as I fancied a bit of food . It was fairly busy but one member of the staff, Nathan?? guided me through the menu . Nothing was a bother given I changed my mind a couple of times . Great service and food . Thank you

I went in alone while my son was at football training at Stepford - had a nice burger and a glass of wine - tables were clean, staff were efficient and friendly

We arrived at the Springcroft and we were served by Nathan, who was polite, respectful and courteous. We were seated at a table that was close to the disabled toilet which was perfect. Nathan took our orders and returned with the food and drinks promptly, where I was impressed that he went on to ask if there was anything else he could do to help us which was appreciated.

the food was amazing, our server nathan was extremely polite and made sure we had everything we needed and when a drink was spilt he was right over to clean it up and sort everything for us. 10/10

Absolutely fabulous for lunch/dinner. I go with friends every week, the staff are very friendly and give you a warm welcome. Our order was taken swiftly with a tab being open, the food we wanted was all available. 2 of us opted for the cluckin chicken stack with chips and the other a grilled chicken breast with veg and rice. All were served piping hot. The staff asked how our meal was and assured them it was delicious. The springcroft is by far the best pub restaurant I have eaten in. Everything is always good and as I say staff are genuinely helpful and want you to enjoy the experience.

Really great food. Very quiet when I was there so not a great atmosphere and service a bit slow. One main served 5 minutes before others.

Ordered food online through Uber eats. Accepted our ordered then decided to cancel the order 40 minutes later 10 minutes before it was due to be delivered and when I tried to call to find out what was happening no answer. Avoid unless you are okay being left hungry
