Absolutely beautiful place to stay, the rooms are warm clean compact but absolutely perfect with amazing views, the staff are delightful, professional, nothing too much trouble, breakfast plentiful to stock up before walking, evening meals outstanding I had vegetarian, fish, venison such a great choice on both evenings, the wine to complement was perfect too, highly recommend this place as located so close to tour the surrounding areas, cannot wait to revisit

Always a great meal at Tomich. Visit regularly and always get a welcome from the friendly staff. They serve delicious homemade dishes at very reasonable prices. Good menu selection and they are currently offering a festive themed menu. Restaurant is always warm and comfortable too. Well worth the visit.

Second time here. Had dinner here in the past when we did the WHW and remembering it was good. We thought of eating here again while in Kinlochleven. Ordered the Large Haddock Beer Battered Fish and Chips. I saw a couple of half eaten fish chips in other tables and didn’t look good. But I still went for it. I couldn’t eat the whole thing. It wasn’t even hot and looked half done, it was pale yellow. The batter was horrible and wasn’t cooked properly. It was that bad that it sticks to your teeth and gums. My partner enjoyed his gammon steak while I probably had the worst fish and chips of my life! Staff were lovely though and great pub atmosphere.

One of the best customer service experiences we’ve had! Food was delicious and it was a lovely atmosphere and the waiters were so lovely and accommodating. Special mention to the Indonesian lady and the Arabian teacher who went above and beyond in their service and hospitality, definitely recommend this place. Thank you for making our 17th birthday dinner very special!

Popped into here for a bite of lunch. First time in Kirkcudbright. Picked here as it had a lavatory and was quite desperate. Once inside, it was a lovely clean space with a friendly welcome from the staff. We chose the soup and scone; two choices, one of each flavour. After a few minutes we were presented with too substantial bowls of soup and half a huge scone each, as we’d only ordered one. Both soups were delicious and hearty; the scone was light and tasty. We couldn’t finish it all, so the staff carefully packed up the leftover soup for us, which we look forward to having for lunch tomorrow. Great find, great food.

An impromptu visit vs staying at home in the kitchen! Staff very attentive and service was quick and accurate. Ordered: tomato soup of the day - very good Breaded cod and chips - fish lovely, chips were average. Haggis neeps and tatties - very good with extra sauce Apple pie with caramel and custard - OK ish On the down side our meal coincided with a large table celebrating a birthday - not conducive to a quiet dinner for two, not their fault. All in all satisfied with the experience even if a little pricey

This is a wonderful hotel, in a perfect location overlooking the Cathedral and minutes from River walks into the charming town/village. Service, especially from Moira, is very professional and efficient with a nice measure of friendliness thrown in too. Dinner menu is extensive with plenty of choices for all tastes , and food quality is of highest standard. Highly recommended!
