Hettie's Tearoom in Perth & Kinross

Booked an afternoon tea for my wife and I and we were not disappointed. Absolutely amazing service and great food. Clear explanation of a range of teas and what was included in the package. Home made savouries and sandwiches were first class. Could not eat all the cakes and they kindly put them in a box to take home. A lovely treat. Excellent staff , service and food. You must visit this place to appreciate the hospitality and food.

After walking to the town from our hotel about a mile away, we decided we needed a much needed drink. We happened upon here and were glad we did! After being seated we chose Earl Grey for me and an Americano for my husband, with a slice of Red Velvet and Carrot Cake. Both the drinks and cake were excellent, and we soon had drunk and eaten them....the slices were so large we skipped lunch, so good value for money. The staff were funny and friendly, and the price was very reasonable. Great tea room find!

What a little gem! Hettie’s is a lovely cafe in picturesque Pitlochry. We called in for lunch and despite being very busy, we were seated quickly. The main lady knows how to run a business! She was friendly and efficient and seemed to know exactly who needed what, when - quite a talent! In fact all the staff were fab. The food came quickly and was tasty. All in all a great experience! We’ll be back when next in the area. Thank you Hettie’s!

Fantastic lunch trip as usual! Good prices, fabulous service, and amazing coffee. The staff in particular always create a wonderful atmosphere. 5 star food and cakes. Too many good things to mention but if you get the opportunity to go, GO! Special thanks to Stacey and Andre who always do so brilliantly out front. Will be back very soon!

It has been many years since we were last here, but it has always been a good experience stopping off for lunch on our journeys north, and again it did not disappoint. The sandwich & panini were lovely, and the cake and scone topped if off nicely. We were stuffed by the time we were finished. They also do a fantastic properly made milkshake!

We happened on this place on a day trip to Pitlochry and we were all delighted with the choice of food! The staff are super friendly and my wee one was pleased with the GF range for coeliacs. Thank u for a wonderful lunch!

This is a gem of a place, lovely coffee, toasties and cakes and the service from the three ladies was absolutely first class. A friendly and homely atmosphere. Don't visit Pitlochry and miss this experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed Hettie’s Tearoom, we went in for a Coffee and Cake. We enjoyed the Hot Chocolate and Cream, Tea and two massive slabs of Carrot Cake and Victoria Cake which we enjoyed. We will certainly recommend and return again in the future.

Lovely wee place. Our stop-off on route to our hotel on my birthday! The T shirts said it all really, 'delivering happiness' ...couldn't agree more! We'll be back!

We popped into Hetties for coffee and cake and were not disappointed. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were passed the menus and had our order taken without delay. The quality of the coffee and cappuccino was excellent and there is a good choice of home baking. The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is at almost £12 for a coffee, cappuccino and scone prices are at the top end of the scale.

Wonderful experience and the food was very good we will definitely go back again. The staff were excellent and they made us feel welcome and at ease.

Popped in for some coffee and cake. A cute little place but poorly laid out tables and a bit crammed. Ordered X1 coffee X1 hit chocolate and X2 slices of cake, our drinks came pretty quickly but then had to wait 10 more minutes for our cake.. would have been nice to get them together, especially when it's literally just slicing cake and plating it... The coffee and hot chocolate were very good, the cake was very average and no better than you'd buy from any supermarket. £21 for 2 drinks and slices of cake is pretty steep and you'd expect better quality. Went to this place for some lunch,looked at the menu and did look pricey but was Pitlochry, was looking forward to a cheesy and Ham Panini but when it arrived, wasn't even a panini,it was warm bread with one slice of Ham and a small amount of cheese and wads also soggy on the bottom ,came with a few Crisps and salad not worth 10 pounds,cakes were good to compensate but for paninis ,cake and tea ,32 pounds is steep,especially during a cost of living crisis,was going to complain but was so busy at the till don't think i could be bothered.

We had a short stop in Hetties for coffee and some morning breakfast rolls. My daughter had a chocolate milkshake which she very much enjoyed. Staff were attentive and friendly. This is a must stop place. It is lovely! The teas are beautiful. The sandwiches are amazing. The cakes and cheesecakes are sinfully delicious. Friendly group running it including Hettie's mom who is beautiful.

The person who owns or runs that place needs to retire. I thought that attitude was well behind up. She makes the place really uncomfortable. Perhaps it would be best if you were behind the scenes washing dishes and leave customer engagement to the younger less bitter employees. Changed our mind and just left with takeaway.

Booked Hetties after taking my partner Canyoning for his birthday just down the road. So happy we did. Had mentioned on the booking form that it was my partners birthday and asked if I brought a candle could they pop it into his cake. I forgot the candle and didn't think much more of it until staff came out singing happy birthday with a candle in his scone! He was both mortified and grateful 🤣 Food was 10/10, the hot chocolate and coleslaw both to die for, I couldn't finish my lunch but took it away in a box for later. The staff really make this place extra special, from the lovely young server we had to the owner who chatted away to us, just a really lovely place. We will definitely be back. Was there on Wednesday gorgeous little place. Afternoon tea lovely and what a choice of teas. The owner asked if it was a special occasion and we said my cousins birthday. When the cakes came she sang happy birthday to her and even produced a candle.

Stopped in for a soup and sandwich while meeting my dad in Pitlochry. Hettie's was recommended by one of the train station staff and it didn't disappoint. Lovely welcome, our waitress took time to explain the menu, the offers and the facilities on site - just taking that extra moment made all the difference.
