We happened upon Teuchers Landing while wandering Leith. It turned out to be our favorite Edinburgh stop so far. Tons of seating, friendly staff, a pretty view, and delicious drinks and food. We highly recommend this stop.

A nice visit to Leith led us to Teuchters Landing where we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a plate of nachos as a light lunch. Both were excellent and seeing other dishes served to neighbouring tables made us think about coming back. Much character though not luxurious. Nice place

Just absolutely fantastic. 10/10 with drinks, service and good. THE most incredible fish and chips ever had and the burgers were as high a standard as possible

Inside is delightful, and outside is great if you can get a sunny spot but you are paying city centre prices here. My mussels were absolutely superb, but I was a little disappointed at the size of the pot, totally unconvinced that it was half a kilo!!! We want to go back for the Cullen skink, it looked amazing. Service is super friendly, nice crowd too. Fish and chips also looked and smelled fantastic, so we will go back and try more.

Lush boozer, perfect for a tourist family like ours. Big portions of high standard pub food with an emphasis on fish and shellfish. Highly recommended

Very cool bar, right on the water. Very busy, therefore also quite loud. We just had a nightcap. We didn't try the food. Great beer selection!

La última vez que estuvimos en Leith visitamos Teuchters 3 noches consecutivas y nos encantó absolutamente la comida, bebidas, ambiente y precios razonables. Volvimos la semana pasada con grandes esperanzas, solo para decepcionarnos. Estaba muy ocupado - que estaba bien como había sido antes - pero aún así logramos encontrar una mesa. Fue después de eso cuando nuestra experiencia fue cuesta abajo. La comida y las bebidas eran muy caros - mucho más que anteriormente. Tuvimos una junta de reparto de arado que estaba bien - pero no vale la pena las £ 18. 50 pagamos por ello. No ayudó que hubiera un grupo de jóvenes en la mesa de al lado que estaban increíblemente altos y gritando - no tenían ninguna preocupación por los que estaban en las mesas cercanas. Solo nos quedamos por un corto tiempo para comer y nos fuimos ya que su ruido y el lenguaje eran muy fuera de lugar. En una nota más positiva - el personal trabaja muy duro, y a pesar de que está ocupado, las bebidas y la comida se sirvieron rápidamente.

Fantastic local eatery. Exquisite and abundant dishes. Good prices. Typical and fantastic environment. Excellent service and very kind. We have 3 dishes: mussels, scallops and a delicious platter of smoked and marinated fish. Very good local beer.

Great food, busy but not too loud, went Saturday tea time and service was really quick.

The choice of drink was excellent. This was the first place we tried the Whisky Cask Thistly Cross and loved it. We sat outside on the floating beer garden playing cards in the sun. We were definitely lucky with the weather but it’s a great place to visit if you’re after a “thinking pint” before you move on to your next place.

Very nice and spacious. Indoor and outdoor bar with a nice terrace area. Heaters as well outdoor . Staff is friendly. Food is very good and it’s a nice place to enjoy football and rugby games or to enjoy being outside by the water for a chill moment. I recommend this place for relaxed time😀😀

Justifiably popular, but the experience is spoiled by a ridiculous, unnecessary 'order by phone from your table' procedure. The menu, derived from a QR code is unclear. One ends up going up and down the menu because there's no option to simply stare at the whole thing. I think there is a menu on a card but it's not even clear that's available untill one begs for it. What's wrong with having staff waiting table?

Beautiful pub close to a watercourse, all in wood. There is plenty of choice between bottles of whiskey and draft beer. We had the fried calamari and the venison burger. In both dishes, generous portions of chips The girls who take the orders are nice (you have to get up from the table and say what you want at the counter)

Definitely try the soup amd the calamari. Extended selection of whiskies as well.

I wasn't impessed with the lack of table cleaning.

Delicious food, very seafood, oysters, mussels, smoked fish, well accompanied with pickles and the inevitable fish and chips, quite good by the way, like any good Pavia here. The oysters are exquisite and a delicious homemade mackerel pâté. All washed down with two pints of good, cold local beer. We ate inside because the temperature was really low but we finished off the task on the terrace on the edge of the canal with some blankets that were provided to us and we tasted a glass of Jura 10 year whiskey, which without being super, is very tasty in my humble opinion, I don't understand much about the subject. It wasn't cheap, but I found it quite reasonable with lots of food and a great setting. At first the service seems chaotic and gives the impression that everything is busy and everything is going to take a long time, but it is the opposite, the service is fast, very fluid and friendly. On the menu you see that a combo of smoked fish, oysters, pates... It costs 85 pounds and it seems expensive, but when it arrives it is good because it is abundant. There were four of us, we lost the combo, one of mussels and one fish and chips, all to share. We ate a lot. I see it as highly recommended and within the prices of the area.

Visiting on super Saturday for the rugby busy to start but escalated with the sunshine. Food was still delivered at a reasonable rate but the nachos needed more chips when I asked if I could order more the waiter said they don’t offer them- well they should -pretty simple to add chips and salsa when you already have them at hand. Steady queue at the bothy bar but the on-line ordering put them over capacity and they closed to “catch up” frustrating those in the queue left hanging. Suggest closing half next time allowing one bartender to work the tickets and the other the queue or taking the on-line off line. Otherwise a good day out.

We wanted to taste the fish in Leith and we found this nice place... It looked like a good place to watch scottish rugby and have a couple of beers, but besides that, the fish is really good and fresh. We have ordered a cullen skink (a kind of fish soup with onions) that was delicious and a dish of fish and chips that amazed us. They have a outside part that remembers to little venice in London.

We popped in for a quick drink on a Thursday night before dinner. The pub was full of people eating and chatting, so a fun atmosphere. The service at the bar was good and friendly and the selection of whiskeys very extensive. As a cider drinker, i was very excited that they had Thistly Cross Whisky aged cider on tap - delicious!

Great setting at the dock side and given it was a 6 nations rugby match and very busy great service.

Travel to Edinburgh frequently and always come here for dinner. Lovely place, nice setting and food is always excellent. Superb whiskey selection.

A Wednesday night they did last call just before 11:30 despite being open until 1? Shut the place before 12. Was a shame as out of the way and then to be told it's shutting despite advertising a 1am close is disappointing.

Had fish and chips, it was ok. This place must be great in summer as has got plenty of outside tables.

The heat lamps, outdoor seating, majestic scenery and the flaming water is definitely worth the sit down. Thank you so much for the hospitality, having the all hands meeting remotely on the port is the best Thursday meeting 😊

On the menu, it says that a 10% "discretionary" service charge goes to the staff. In my world, "discretionary" means "at my discretion," but the charge was applied by default without any notice. Additionally, payment was required upfront, before the service or food was provided—on what basis do they justify a tip in that case? This is even more questionable considering that you have to leave the table to order at the counter and carry your own drinks to the table. Where’s my tip? I also didn’t receive a receipt initially and only found out about the service charge when I specifically asked for it. I’m not against tipping, but with such misleading practices, they don’t deserve one (maybe they don’t even deserve to be employed). As for the food, the dishes were basically salt and pepper “seasoned” with a hint of food.

We came here with a couple of local friends. The "whisky bible" is fantastic! There are a lot of options for interior or exterior seating. We shared the vegetarian nachos. I recommend playing the ring toss game--you might end up with a dram of something you really like!

Great pub with a really good selection of beers and lots of wine by the glass. Lots of outdoor tables. Would be fantastic in the summer.

No es el ambiente que nos gusta para una comida, pero es un pub y fue un día de rugby! Al ser de Yorkshire soy alérgica a la unión y a los tipos de ventiladores que tiene. Eso a un lado del pub fue excelente. Cerveza local perfecta, se podía oler el lúpulo tan pronto como se puso en la mesa. fabuloso plato de pescado, todo de alta calidad y fresco. Excelente catering sin gluten y nuestra hija es celiaca, así que realmente crítico para nosotros. Excelentes calamares para los estándares del Reino Unido. Servicio bueno si te gusta ordenar códigos QR. Los baños más limpios que he visto en un pub excepto el Rose and Crown en Romaldkirk.

Stopped here for a bevvy. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Friendly service. Lots of different rooms and outdoor space for different feels. Nice spot for a drink. Food also looked good, saw someone really enjoy the fish and chips.

Went here with spouse and child. We were able to sit outside on a winter day thanks to space heaters and blankets. Very pleasant experience, table right next to the water. Great food - had the chili dog and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had lunch here, food very nice. Massive portions and excellent gluten free choices. We had the mussels and fish and chip and they were delicious. Cosy atmosphere in the back, with a little fire.

Excellent pub located in the Leith district with a welcoming atmosphere. Huge choice of whiskeys, the service is fast and the fish n chips delicious. Recommended!

Una cosa muy buena de Teuchters Landing es que no reservas, básicamente es el primer servicio. La comida es buena y hay una buena selección. El personal es muy amable y servicial.

An extremely good pub. There is a fire in the fireplace, which keeps you warm at the same time. Large selection of cask ales, local beers and generally a very wide range of beers. Fortunately, very few industrial beers. Everything was great, full recommendation.

Really liked this place. Nice atmosphere- nice and cosy on a cold night. Food looked really nice.

This pub continues to thrive and deservedly so. It is friendly, has a great selection of drinks and interesting food offer and is an interesting building. There is a lot of outdoor seating and inside has some large televisions; these regularly show sport but they do not overwhelm the venue.

Super Fish and Chips. Mag eigentlich nicht so gerne aber dort war es echt super. Leider war etwas viel los und wir mussten in das neben Lokal. Geschmacklich aber extrem gut.

We had this pub recommended to us by a local, and weren’t disappointed. The staff were amazing at finding everyone the perfect spot on a cold Edinburgh day. Our meal was great and the mulled wine and cider were legit and delicious. The place was heaving and I can see why, I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Stumbled across this place on a recent stay in Leith and loved it. Wish we had somewhere like this on our doorstep where we live. Really cosy homely environment with good food to match - the chips are divine!

Love it. Excellent food, super good burgers and home-made fries. Unfortunately we couldn't order the seafood platter because we ran out of mussels. But also a wide choice of good quality puppy meals! Cozy place, relaxed vibe. Recommended if you are in Leith!

Awesome. Great beer choice, probably a 100 whiskeys and the biggest burger I have had in a long time. Candle lights. Other food coming out the kitchen looked excellent. Hand cut chips, it's a no brainer, go here and enjoy. Judging by the Signed Scotland Shirts, this is the place to watch Rugby Union. Highly recommended.

Easily one of the most enjoyable place I found in the city. Fish and chips was flawless. Beer was at it's best. A serious wiskey selection for order. Uber friendly staff and a location out of the path of everyday traveler.

Always a wonderful and cozy experience! Great beers on tap, friendly and efficient service, clean and cozy atmosphere! There is lots of seating so you can usually find a space so sit and enjoy your bevvies. Haven't had food here but it looks like solid pub grub.

Such a lovely pub. The rooms and decor on top of the location makes it a great place to relax and bring friends visiting. Nothing is too expensive and the food is super yummy (Cullen skink was delish)

Very very busy but we managed to get a table and had some food. Service and food was excellent. Beers were great too, but was a little difficult to see everything they had due to large mob at the bar.

Ordering is a bit weird. You have to order through their digital menu and your orders come to your table magically. If you are not very friendly with this kind of digital world, sorry for you. The best fish&chips we had in UK and the best creamy mussels in Edinburgh.

a beautiful and delicious place. Fish & Chips better than those in London, the fish was super fresh. We then had a spectacular fish and potato (skink) soup!! To top it all off, a sandwich with sausage and caramelized onions (they call it Teutchers dog) The place is lovely. They do not accept reservations. Super recommended

Classic pub in Leith, an institution. Decent food, huge variety of whisky and other beverages. Chill, no fuss, great outdoor space. As soon as the sun is out the place is buzzing.

Mad busy, nice staff, good atmosphere, doesn’t take bookings so you may well be disappointed trying to sit for food. Food and drinks were great though so probably worth the effort.

Didn't eat there but other people have said they thought that the food is very good - I can't comment. Great atmosphere and good range of drinks with an outstanding whisky selection. Helpful staff. Recommended.

Charming place in the Leith neighborhood! ! Great variety of local draft beer and whiskeys, ideal for a tasting. Typical Scottish food, very good. Both inside and outside the environment is great! If you go to Leith, this pub you should visit :-)

We found this pub by chance as we had seen the lights from across the water. What a great find it was. We decided to eat there on our first night in Leith - and returned for every night we were there. The menu is varied and portions are plentiful. I would recommend the ploughman's board and the cheese board, as well as the fish an chips. Service is quick and the food always arrived piping hot. There is a fantastic variety of drinks on offer, from locally brewed beer and local gin, to an extensive range of whisky. Bar staff were helpful and knowledgeable, going the extra mile to find out about ingredients for us, and giving small tastes to assist choosing drinks. Would we return? We did - for 3 nights running!

Amazing place with such a great vibe

This is a great pub. Fantastic selection of drinks. The food is excellent value for money since the portions are generous, and the service is quick and friendly. Only reason it’s not a five star is the app they make you use to order adds a pretty hefty surcharge. Other than that, this place is well worth a visit.

Recommended by our B&B, and we know why! Super pub, with great ales, and spot-on menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, will definitely return next time we come up.

Around 12 of us popped in on Wednesday evening after (sadly) a funeral but this was a great way to end the night. A good buzz in a busy place with a huge selection of whiskies, which went down well with our American visitors. Food smelt great and looked good, plenty eating. Staff very friendly and efficient. Most helpful in ordering taxis as we went our different ways.
