Cannot complement the staff enough especially Irish Liz who was so pleasant, friendly, kind, courteous and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. She is a credit to the owners. The food was amazing and other members of staff were very attentive too. Thank you for making our family birthday brunches smazing

At first glance, we thought this would be just a basic breakfast buffet, however it is supplemented nicely with various menu items. Food was fine, and I might have given three stars, except that our server Nick made me the most incredible cappuccino with almond milk. He also had good suggestions for what to order. Truly exceptional service and I am bumping it up to four stars. Excellent almond milk cappuccino. Thank you Nick!

We spent three lovely nights at Ardshealach Lodge, on a bed and Breakfast basis, and chose to have dinner there each evening. The standard of accomodation was excellent, huge bed, large bedroom and lovely views. This is such a relaxing place with a wonderful warm and inviting welcome where nothing is too much trouble. As always the standard of food was superb as was the service. We have eaten here before and would definitely come back to stay again.

We had food in the restaurant a few times, which was really good, macaroni was amazing, although no veg with kids meals even when menu said peas. Paying the bill was awful, tried charging for other people’s meals. Then the card machine was down another night. Sat pm no draught beer or juices. Had a takeaway Sat which was a total shambles, husband seen the staff member with our order and asked him. He continued speaking to another couple, then one of them asked if that was fish and chips and he handed it over from our order 🤬 so by the time we got a new one the other food had been sitting getting cold. The pizza topping was ok, the base was so hard that the sauce was sliding off it, the fish batter was far too greasy. The staff looked stressed when it was busy, probably needed more help.

A fantastic wholesome establishment, where you are welcomed with genuine warmth. Would not go past it! Quality drinks and food.

We were so disappointed that this once fantastic ice cream shop has now changed to ‘Mr Whippy’!! No flavour selection unless you chose the tubs mentioned in the previous review. My niece chose an Oreo milkshake which was OK at best and extremely overpriced at £6! Will not be back!

A real Glasgow institution. Definitely one of the city’s most unique and beautiful restaurants with a maze of rooms and bars to chose from over 3 floors, including a hidden gem of a rooftop beer garden. The service is fantastic and the food is great. I had the Jerusalem artichokes with pickled walnuts and beetroot. We also tried the side salad and roasted harissa carrots. Downstairs there is an a la carte and also tasting menu for finer dining. Upstairs is a more middle-range brasserie.

We had reservations for 6pm but arrived 30 minutes early. No problem, we were kindly installed by James. The service was very good, constantly listening to us. The Cullen Shink was very good. It's one of the rare establishments I've found that serves it in a main dish. I've never seen onions this big: they were super good. The sweet potato fries were a little soggy. It was a very nice experience and the first floor is nice. Note that there is a covered terrace and a second uncovered one. Very reasonably priced and has a children's menu.
