I've lived in Kilwinning for years, but this was my first visit to The Lemon Tree. I will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed. I've forgotten the ladies name that served us, but she was brilliant. Very funny and chatty and welcoming. The food was excellent. I had the steak pie, which was melt in the mouth. My friend had steak panini, which was also beautiful. I'd highly recommend going here whether for food or just a relaxed drink. Prices are also very reasonable 👌

Ordered food via the North Ayrshire Eats app. Burger was below average at best, tasted suspiciously like a microwave burger and the chips were lukewarm. My wife ordered the Fajitas and got 3 small tortilla wraps plus pre-cooked chicken and microwave rice mixed in spices. This item alone was £9, which is an absolute joke! Delivery driver was also very rude! We've had a couple of poor experiences before but also some good ones, but after this we won't be giving them our business ever again!

Went in for drinks, a good friendly bar, staff were good

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had & I eat out 2/3 times a week! We unfortunately had to sit downstairs in the bar for our dinner as upstairs was busy which wasn’t the worst but not ideal, the food tane a long time to arrive this was starters & mains! The mash was like powder how you get mash wrong just baffles me? The food wasn’t up to much especially for the restaurant price tag!! The worst part is the owners Great Dane which is more horse size was sitting with us while we ate!! Off lead! It was allowed to gallop around this tiny pub where we were attempting to eat our food! Numerous times a member of staff shouted the dog out the front to go do the toilet that’s not professional at all in that sort of environment! Trade & standards wouldn’t allow this it’s a health and safety issue waiting to happen! What happens if someone is allergic to dogs or scared ? Total joke of a place! I’ll never be back & also had the cheek to still charge restaurant prices for a tiny pub which seemed like doggy/horse day care.

Excellent repas , Christopher était d' une gentillesse incroyable et un très bon travail ainsi que la cuisine était très bonne.

We just had a bar meal in the pub all I can say is thank you for a brilliant meal and the service was fantastic a big 10 out 10 I had a LT burger with chips far to big for me. The scapmi and chips was amazing. Once again thank you we be back

To be fair we arrived early for a breakfast and the food we received was nice but after asking how I would like my eggs and asked for poached to then get fried and then no sides as advertised for the breakfast fry up left us slightly disappointed though as said the food we did receive was nice and the staff helpful and friendly.

Food and drink was lovely and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. It was quite when we were there.

We have just had my Sons 18th Birthday meal here from start to finish it was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make it special. The food was fresh with perfect size portions. Can't wait to go back!

Had a wee Birthday meal in here for my niece who was 4, the food was excellent and the staff especially the lady who served us was brilliant with the kids and the service was great, would highly recommend

Newly reopened great food we were celebrating family birthday 7 adults in total freshly cooked food didn't mind waiting for it, plenty of it we only managed starters and mains! Had offer on too for Festive menu that was certainly worth it and we even had a doggie bad for home would recommend you try

Sadly, this lovely wee place has 'lost ' or misplaced it's charm, visited recently, though will not return due to rude, untrained staff. Extremely small venue, ladies facilities are restricted to one baby changing station. Would not recommend, very disappointing visit. Avoid at all costs 😔

Went for dinner with my sister staff we're lovely and friendly. Dinner was lovely aswell reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

Actually really disappointed. The girl who served us was lovely but I wouldn't say well trained. Had the peppercorn chicken, it was really bland, the chicken was really tough. Portion was really small for £13.95. Wanted to love it as its so nearby but sadly we won't be back 😔

Food is great, had a slightly long wait between starters and mains, manager apologised explained there were a few teething problems. Will give it another visit.

Drank in the pub for 40 years and full of characters.Used to be a good wee pub,pity last owners had no interest in the place and went down hill.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The place is going downhill. The staff seem more concerned about driving customers away than gaining them. The quietest pub in the town by far and it's no surprise. The restaurant closed a few years back and the pub is heading the same way - unless it gets new staff who welcome customers!

Atmosphere brilliant and good place to have lunch

This was a good wee pub years ago but has fell away big time not a place I would go to a lot .

Cosy little locals bar on pedestrianised High Street. In need of some refurbishment, but handy, decent and respectable enough. Reasonable prices. No food presently. Mainly middle-aged/elderly local clientele. A useful 'pop-in' facility in close proximity to betting shops., cafes and the local Coop. and Tesco Express.

Food pub for a quiet beer. Service good.

One of the best Pubs in town and I learned of it from Kilwinning Archers who from all the bars that an old law led them to they decided this was the best.

Great wee cosy pub, mostly older clientele. A very friendly place. It's a shame they closed their restaurant as the food was fantastic and cheap. I highly recommend a visit if you're in town.
