We had an evening meal at Seabirds on the Saturday of Easter Weekend, so it was absolutely packed. Despite this, the service and food was absolutely brilliant! By far the best creamy garlic mushrooms I have ever eaten and my steak was perfectly done. And if you are a cheesecake fan, you are in luck. The manager in particular was very competent and friendly. A very large table came in well after their table time and tried to cause trouble and he handled them very professionally. A must visit if you are in Flamborough.

This small cafe really surprised me, food was fantastic and waitress was friendly. Jacket potato looked a bit different than usually, but it was delicious and what a astonishing vegetable soup. Must try! Ham in a sandwich was flavorful, perfect I might say!

Danish pastry completely sealed in plastic. It was really awful so checked packaging. They make them and seal them for a 3 day shelf life, so no fresh bakery produce here, you are as well with a mass-produced supermarket one. Checking the ingredients, they aren't even Danish pastry ingredients. The "superdough" part of the ingredients was just a chemical filled anomaly of things that shouldn't be there. That is not a Danish Pastry. And why all those unnecessary ingredients in the icing? Icing sugar and water would suffice. Interestingly, there is no flour listed on the ingredients for the superdough so I doubt it is a legal list. That is quite a serious omission! I attach a photo of the ingredients list. Philps comment is that they do mention flour later under possible allergens

Been going here for 8 years, first day of our holiday went for lunch at 12pm. Ordered 2 pasties, both were barely lukewarm and had very greasy pastry and tasted average at best , actually didnt finish them and threw half of it away. Also thought £1.80 for a can of coke is a little steep.Staff were lovely but definately not half as good as it used to be...come on Philps up your game

El peor servicio... 20 minutos de tratar de hablar con una camarera a la orden... seguido de otros 30 minutos de espera, ya que “olvidaron poner nuestra orden a través” pasó más de una hora allí para 2 rollos de desayuno / envoltura. Bill llegó a £ 30! Y cobraron cargos por servicio... Me siento avergonzado y arruinó nuestro viaje a Whitby

Very disappointed and frustrated. Unfortunately my wife and I left Saltmoore 1 night early due to a number of issues that were not resolved. I’ll keep this review purely objective to give a clear and honest picture with the below issues causing major concern. 1. Empty shower gel/shampoo when checking in - left empty again after room service and we had to phone and ask… 2. Was a dog friendly room but had not been cleaned. Dog hair all over the couch and floor 3. Hearing would NOT turn off. No solution offered except a fan. We barely slept at all due to this. 4. 1 teaspoon… 2 mugs 5. Understaffed and no sign of management guiding team. Bars were unmanned and you’d have to go and find someone each time. 6. Staff seemed unsure and possibly not well trained in hospitality. 7. No bath robes available in spa morning of Sunday April 20th 8. No warming communal spaces in the hotel Some of these issues could have been resolved immediately and others should not have been there in the first place. There’s no excuse for any of these frankly. For £340 per night and a hotel that positions itself as premium it was far, far off the mark. We stay in premium hotels around the world and understand the intricacies of premium service. If you position yourself as such you must deliver. Booked for 3 nights and left after 2 as it was day after day of the same issues. I’d like to shout out the beautifully kind lady at reception who was exceptional at her role but her time was spent firefighting and not adding that extra value she brings. I cannot recommend Saltmoore and hope there are changes in order.

Flint House delivers sharp flavors and a front-row seat to the kitchen action — ideal if you like your dinner with a side of theatre. Some dishes shine, others (like the fried oyster mushrooms) are just batter in disguise. Service left a sour note: we paid for one vintage of wine and got a cheaper one with zero acknowledgment. Most unforgettable moment? Watching the grill cook lick his spoon, then go right back to basting. Appetite: instantly gone.

The vibe of here is so good 😍 They have 2 sitting area on upstairs one downstairs. They have tasty sandwiches. 🥪 I cane here 2 times. Once we ordered chips as a side.it was not good at all. do not order chips but definitely go for sandwiches 😋 The price is reasonable too. Every meal is almost £10
