Quite literally the worse run business I’ve ever tried to give me money to. It is like they don’t want your money, spent 30 minutes talking to their friends, and then when I started giving them my order, I was ordered to stand to the side because I “hadn’t preordered a plain sausage”, which is fine, but they didn’t even allow me to give the rest of my order. Who knows if other items would require additional cooking time? She just wanted to get back to gossiping with her friends. Third time I’ve had a terrible experience, won’t be back. Will go to professional adult run businesses in the future

Ground Floor Coffee Shop in Bedford is a lovely hidden gem inside King's House. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of comfy seating—perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Their coffee, roasted locally by Wooden Hill Coffee Company, is excellent, and I love that they support tree planting in the Forest of Marston Vale. The food is fresh and tasty too—my pulled pork and apple sandwich was spot-on, and the cakes are all locally sourced. They also offer Teapigs teas, a loyalty card for regulars, and eco-friendly packaging. Whether you're staying a while or grabbing something via Uber Eats, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in Bedford.

Easily the best meat I’ve had my whole life! Amazing experience but quite an expensive one! 12.5% was added to the bill for the service which I consider too much, 5% would be enough. Also they added 1£ for “charity”. I don’t mind paying for charity but at least the should have us asked beforehand, also we would’ve liked to be informed about the service fee before hand :) Besides that, Tahera was our waitress, she was very pleasant and helpful, a big thank you goes to her.

As always fabulous meal at Harry’s. Tried the new special Pollock and chips as a change from my usual cod, and it did not disappoint. Delicious and just as tasty as the cod, and an absolute bargain at £7.50 for a medium size, with there usual crisp batter and signature crinkle cut chips and the best curry sauce for dipping, delicious.

Beautiful menu, rich in flavours and delightfully presented. Fantastic wine pairing and with a shared port flight just perfect to enjoy and still remember the meal! Strawberry and cream flavoured wine really was just that and loved as always the storytelling around each dish and especially each wine choice. The bread was delicious, warm, and perfectly soft in the middle crunchy on the outside. I loved the cerviche with rich tangy flavours, and later on, the lamb was the opposite with bold gravy. Having a pureed apaspagus in between was a great and colourful choice to move from one flavour range to the other. Being dairy free, I had the vegan version of the meringue, which, if anything, was too big. We had to have a coffee to stay awake, and the petite four whilst tasty were almost too much to eat. With hindsight, asking for a takeaway box for the sweets would have been a better idea. A firm favourite for those special occasions and definitely passes the 'could we cook this at home' test!
