Lovely, delicious food. Really good value for money, £26 for 3 courses. Service was good too. Really nice restaurant, not too busy or noisy.

Didn't know this place existed till tonight. Its a former masonic place . Impressive building victorian maybe with really high ceilings. The tables in the restaurant are well spread out. The food was great. So were the staff. Definitely go back

The best place in the city to eat - lunch or dinner. Delicious food and certainly vfm. Have kept it to myself as don't want to advertise too far and wide should it be fully booked when i want a table!!

Just returned from a wonderful evening at Corinthian. We had been meaning to visit for a while and finally made it. Wow, well worth the wait. The setting made for a unique and chilled experience, a beautiful room, quiet enough to chat but not lacking in atmosphere due to the varied background music. The staff were professional, attentive yet unobtrusive. The food was divine, a modest menu but everything on it was tempting and delicious. The wine menu was extensive and very reasonable. We had an amazing three course meal with wine for two for less than a £100. Cannot recommend Corinthian highly enough, will definitely go again. Thanks everyone for a lovely evening.

This is a gem for a fine dining experience that I never knew existed. The whole building has history you can almost sense that if the walls had ears they would be telling many stories. From entry you have to press a button as the doors are shut. When I entered I could feel it was a building of great history and it was. From being seated the table setting was outstanding. The large candle was lit which created a nice warm feel. Handed a menu with a variety of choices. Our waitress was outstanding. I took pictures of all the dishes which looked like work of art. The meal was fabulous then the right portion size was fresh hot and absolutely fantastic. I was totally blown away. I have never ever had a fine dining experience like this before and I have been to many restaurants in Nottingham. I will be back 100%. This golden dining gem in Nottingham deserves to have more people knowing about it. Probably one of the most amazing places I have eaten in in a very long time. The food was outstanding the service was superb and a wonderful place to eat.

What a lovely surprise. I had no idea this restaurant was here and you wouldn't really spot if from the outside. It's not an extensive menu but the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Has the feel of an exclusive club (it's within the Masonic Lodge) in a proper dining room with lovely original 30s deco features. The menu is classic/nostalgic (chicken supreme, brandy snap basket) but without the overcooked vegetables from the 70s. To round it off I was able to get a decaf cup of tea - a request which is often met with a reluctant shrug at bigger/popular restaurants. Perfect location for pre-theatre.

If your in Nottingham and want a fantastic place to eat, then this is a must place to visit (and if your not in Nottingham then you really should come and eat here) Fantastic food, lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere and really nice and relaxing surroundings.

Another fine meal at the Corinthian! We enjoyed the food very much, and great care was taken by the chef to accommodate one of our guests who has gluten intolerance issues as well as being vegetarian. The ambiance and service were top class and we very much look forward to dining with you in the future.

The lunch set menu is very good value for money for the standard of the food, which is excellent. The premises have a traditional gentleman’s club feel. The ambience is quite quiet and reserved, but there is background music and we felt comfortable chatting

Couldn’t fault this place, we had a 12:00pm lunch and was very surprised at the quality to say we were the only ones dining, Food was top quality and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back for an evening meal.

Lovely food and great service every time we visit. Now our preferred restaurant whenever we are in the City. Attention to detail and old style service which is now virtually impossible to find elsewhere. Excellent value for money.

I've been here a few times and it's always a treat to have silver service and good quality table linen. The meal in general was good although I did find the lamb a little over cooked and hard in some parts. This could be due to the fact that it was extremely quiet and I can sympathise that it is easier to produce good food when busy. Regardless, it was still good value for money and I will return.

I come here once a month for lunch, never fails to impress me. The food is first class. A lovely relaxed time, not rushed. Took friends this time. We really enjoyed it. Nice and quiet.

The food was delicious, service was great, friendly staff. We will most certainly be booking again. Braised shoulder of beef and x2 duck confit, sticky toffee pudding, cheese board and chocolate orange cheesecake, all delicious. We opted for two courses but there is a choice of 2 or 3 courses all reasonably priced. Thank you Corinthian

We were delighted with our meal, with friendly and efficient service making it a special evening. The restaurant décor is classically, and clubby (in a good way). The food quality was very good, and the pricing of food and wine excellent. It's a real fine, and we will go back when next in Nottingham.

I absolutely loved the place! Could we add more by having a live pianist in the restaurant? The food and service was amazing.

The initial welcome at reception could have been warmer but after that everything was very good. Our waitress was excellent & the food was very good & good value. Our visit was pre-theatre & the location & prompt service were very good for that purpose. Will visit again, we were impressed.

We had a quiet, leisurely meal before going to a concert. The food was beautifully presented and totally delicious. Our wine was very good and very reasonably priced. The food was served with deliberate speed, majestic instancy. The high ceilings ensured that, although the room was quite full by the time we left, it was still quiet.

It was a pre theatre meal. Exceptional value and very good quality hot food. It is a very unusual setting as though you had stepped back in time but it was a very calm relaxing atmosphere . Very friendly staff. Will probably go again . Highly recommend it.

Great value for money at £22.50 for 3 courses. The cooking of a very high standard. My mushroom and Stilton soup was superb and the slow cooked belly pork served with pak choi gave it a nice oriental twist. The service was excellent. A traditional dining room in a interesting building. I suggest you get down there.

We have been coming to the Corinthian for about 7 years we have always found the food excellent along with the staff .the food is always cooked to a high standard but on the last 2 occasions it’s like visiting slimming world .tonight we turned up and the menu was so poor .who wants basmati rice with chicken and mash potatoes.ratatouille was duplicated twice along with the basmati rice both I do not like .would rather pay more and get more meat or fish not go to a slimming world restaurant..whoever sorted this menu out it’s not for me .and where’s the veg …sorry but very poor also my wife had pancakes over cooked black on one side the black side to the plate so we would not notice. What a pity we’ve had some great meals here

I love this place.Since discovery, it's my pre theatre choice for food and drink.Top Quality food and drinks at such affordable prices. One can have a special treat 3 courses for less than most pubs and Restaurants charge for a Steak. Food is top quality! Can't fault the place.

An amazing restaurant. Brilliant food and service. And the setting is really classy. It’s basically the Savoy Grill but with a 3 course meal costing less than £25! Arguably the best restaurant in Nottingham!

Overall 5 star! The duck and beef were a bit dry but the flavours were incredible the chorizo casserole was outstanding! As well as the terrine! The girls were great and very accommodating with my children.

We booked this restaurant for our family of 10 plus a toddler to celebrate a graduation from Nottingham Trent University. (The restaurant is located round the corner from the main entrance). From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. To begin with, I was very impressed with the handling of my numerous telephone calls concerning arrangements for the booking as we had family travelling from abroad, one with dietary requirements and also a toddler. Upon the evening we were dining, the staff were attentive, helpful and efficient & everyone said how much they enjoyed all the various items they had chosen to eat from the menu. How the catering staff produced such an array of fabulous food, which was all then served promptly and expertly, even knowing who had ordered what, was absolutely amazing. We all said that we wished we lived a bit nearer to Nottingham so that we could go there more often! A massive big thank you to everyone concerned in making this evening so wonderful and memorable for our family. We will return!!
