Good food & service been several times & taken different friends who are always impressed.

Food at this restaurant is excellent. This is a quiet oasis in the middle of Nottingham. The only thing we didn’t like was the volume of the background music, which was too loud.

Esto hace que suene muy formal, pero el ambiente es muy relajante de hecho. minutos del Teatro Real y la sala de conciertos, así que sería ideal para un almuerzo o cena pre-teatro.

We’ve ,been a customer of Corinthian for a few years and have recommended many customers as the quality of food has been exceptional. Tonight’s visit was very disappointing. The quality of the food was very poor, braised beef was dry, over cooked and very small, the buttered greens consisted of 3 peas and a small portion of cabbage. The dish was swimming in gravy.the dessert, ,sticky toffee pudding was about the size of a matchbox…. . I left feeling hungry and very disappointed,

This restaurant has to be the go to place in Nottingham for a pre-theatre meal. Just a few minutes from the TRCH it offers fine food at a very competitive price in a traditionally furnished restaurant. The staff are attentive and knowledgable and the food is cooked to order from a select menu to meet all tastes. Don't be put off by the entrance doors to this discreet, hidden restaurant just go up the steps and push the buzzer to be admitted to this gem in the heart of the city.

Excellent fine dining in a unique setting. One of Nottingham's best kept secrets. Not overcrowded and never feel rushed.

The food and service at Corinthian cannot be faulted. The menu catered for all our varied tastes and the prices were reasonable for a city centre restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to others, when visiting Nottingham city centre.

This is an excellent restaurant right in the middle of Nottingham. We liked the fact that the restaurant is quiet, apart from some piped music, but this small deficiency is more than made up by the quality of the food and quality surroundings. They even have white tablecloths on the tables which very few restaurants have nowadays. We will certainly go back!

Its always our favourite pre-theatre restaurant. Great food, great value and attentive staff.

I was looking for a quiet restaurant with great food and drink after a long day on a work trip to Nottingham, the Corinthian delivered.

La comida era absolutamente genial - y un valor excepcional. Tuvimos una comida de 3 platos a precio fijo, que era excelente. Ubicado dentro del edificio Masonic Hall, el ambiente es sofisticado y de una época pasada, lino blanco, música suave y buen servicio no podíamos fallarlo.

Visited for an afternoon tea which was excellent - as was the service from a very pleasant young lady. Cannot fault it at all and would like to add that it was a lovely change to eat in a quiet atmosphere with no-one using their mobile phones!!! Many thanks to everyone concerned.

As ever the food and service is excellent. This is our 'go to' restaurant for a pre-theatre meal. However, we have been at other times and it is still equally as good.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Nottingham. A little off the beaten track for shoppers BUT perfect if you’re going to the concert halls. All staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The young lady who served us is a credit to the restaurant. The menu has a perfect range of meals and flavours. The quality of the food, flavours and presentation is 5 stars. Pric structure is incredible value for the food we were presented with. We will be definitely booking again and recommending to friends. Well done to all at The Corinthian.

Fantastic food and service , only thing I would say is that it could have been warmer in the room. Apart from that it was Beautiful food and ambiance.

This was our first experience of Corinthian, which was so pleasant we have already decided to go again. The flavours of our meal were exceptional and the service was first rate.

The process of booking was very smooth from the outset and we received a very warm welcome on our arrival. We dined early (5.15) and we were the only customers at that time (we were going to the concert hall later) which surprised us given the excellent service, fantastic quality of food and the very reasonable prices - both food and drink. The menu was centred on quality and it certainly delivered. This is a hidden gem in Nottingham and we will be certainly returning when we visit the city again.

Perfect as always, the food is beautifully crafted and fantastic, and the service is warm and welcoming.

Traditional dining in a restaurant situated within the Masonic Hall. Food is extremely good and is excellent value for money. The only unfortunate thing is that it is always so quiet. Few people seem to know it exists, and I'm sure that if they did they would flock to it.

The menu choices were really good and it was hard to choose what to have. The food was excellently prepared and looked good when it was served. We had the house wine and had no complaints there either. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Second visit to this hidden gem of a restaurant in Nottingham City Centre. I cannot praise it highly enough, atmosphere, food, wine selection and service are all excellent. Really looking forward to my third visit!

Didn't know this place existed till tonight. Its a former masonic place . Impressive building victorian maybe with really high ceilings. The tables in the restaurant are well spread out. The food was great. So were the staff. Definitely go back

This was the first time that my wife and I have been to the Corinthian restaurant and I invited two of our friends to come with us we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great, the service excellent and the food perfect. As we were there at lunchtime I was interested to see what it would be like in the evening so I have booked to eat, with our friends in the near future. In short finding the Corinthian was like finding a gem.

We went here before going to Nottingham for drinks and it didn’t disappoint. It’s like travelling back to the 1930’s, such charm and character. The food is out of this world and given the prices it’s hard to see how they can do it. Service was also faultless. We booked to go again while we still there it’s so good.

The best place in the city to eat - lunch or dinner. Delicious food and certainly vfm. Have kept it to myself as don't want to advertise too far and wide should it be fully booked when i want a table!!

We had a lovely pre-theatre meal at the Corinthian. Each course was tasty and beautifully presented, the service was timed to perfection, and the value for money was excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. The Corinthian is in a quite grand building, but has a lovely, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended

Everything was really good except the espresso coffee wish was not espresso but a very weak watery coffee

This lovely traditional restaurant is rather like an ‘gentlemen’s club’. The service was excellent a young enthusiastic waitress who as exceptional polite and fun. The menu is well balanced and gives value for money. Presentation and tase were excellent. I wish I lived in the vicinity.

Wearing white gloves while serving does not make fine dining. Booked for a special occasion and overwhelming disappointed that we almost left but don’t know the area and had an event booked 90 mins later. The grand sounding Corinthian is in a Masonic lodge with zero atmosphere and smells dank & fusty. The staff were pleasant & doing their best and the food was presented nicely but very average. I found this restaurant while looking for fine dining & Michelin star restaurants in Nottingham. How this has 4.7 on reviews I don’t know.

Just returned from a wonderful evening at Corinthian. We had been meaning to visit for a while and finally made it. Wow, well worth the wait. The setting made for a unique and chilled experience, a beautiful room, quiet enough to chat but not lacking in atmosphere due to the varied background music. The staff were professional, attentive yet unobtrusive. The food was divine, a modest menu but everything on it was tempting and delicious. The wine menu was extensive and very reasonable. We had an amazing three course meal with wine for two for less than a £100. Cannot recommend Corinthian highly enough, will definitely go again. Thanks everyone for a lovely evening.

We had a really nice meal before going to Royal Concert Hall, good choice, food nice and presented well, would go again.

This is a gem for a fine dining experience that I never knew existed. The whole building has history you can almost sense that if the walls had ears they would be telling many stories. From entry you have to press a button as the doors are shut. When I entered I could feel it was a building of great history and it was. From being seated the table setting was outstanding. The large candle was lit which created a nice warm feel. Handed a menu with a variety of choices. Our waitress was outstanding. I took pictures of all the dishes which looked like work of art. The meal was fabulous then the right portion size was fresh hot and absolutely fantastic. I was totally blown away. I have never ever had a fine dining experience like this before and I have been to many restaurants in Nottingham. I will be back 100%. This golden dining gem in Nottingham deserves to have more people knowing about it. Probably one of the most amazing places I have eaten in in a very long time. The food was outstanding the service was superb and a wonderful place to eat.

What a lovely surprise. I had no idea this restaurant was here and you wouldn't really spot if from the outside. It's not an extensive menu but the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Has the feel of an exclusive club (it's within the Masonic Lodge) in a proper dining room with lovely original 30s deco features. The menu is classic/nostalgic (chicken supreme, brandy snap basket) but without the overcooked vegetables from the 70s. To round it off I was able to get a decaf cup of tea - a request which is often met with a reluctant shrug at bigger/popular restaurants. Perfect location for pre-theatre.

Another fine meal at the Corinthian! We enjoyed the food very much, and great care was taken by the chef to accommodate one of our guests who has gluten intolerance issues as well as being vegetarian. The ambiance and service were top class and we very much look forward to dining with you in the future.

Couldn’t fault this place, we had a 12:00pm lunch and was very surprised at the quality to say we were the only ones dining, Food was top quality and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back for an evening meal.

Lovely food and great service every time we visit. Now our preferred restaurant whenever we are in the City. Attention to detail and old style service which is now virtually impossible to find elsewhere. Excellent value for money.

I've been here a few times and it's always a treat to have silver service and good quality table linen. The meal in general was good although I did find the lamb a little over cooked and hard in some parts. This could be due to the fact that it was extremely quiet and I can sympathise that it is easier to produce good food when busy. Regardless, it was still good value for money and I will return.

I come here once a month for lunch, never fails to impress me. The food is first class. A lovely relaxed time, not rushed. Took friends this time. We really enjoyed it. Nice and quiet.
