Price was good but the 4 little crisps on a plate next to the saddest looking toastie was a little odd and felt like quite a long wait for the food. Jacket potato looked like it had just been stuck in a microwave.

was burnt and turned into dust.. they reheated (more than once) old stuff

Nice space but shocking wait times, Thought it would be a nice place to meet for a coffee and a catch up with friends, and waited almost 20 minutes for a coffee!

Very lovely coffee shop in the Kempston side of Bedford. I have had several meetings here with friends and we always are made to feel welcomed.

I Met some great people here today. The staff were very friendly as well. I can highly recommend this coffee shop!

A decent coffee shop. It appears to be in a conference centre that just happens to have this public cafe attached; the choice of food was a bit limited and the seating was "industrial-style" in a large, noisy room. The staff were really nice though!

It was ok. Sausage and bacon baguette was awful. Tough baguette and was so dry. Tuna melt panini was nice though and so was the chai latte.

Lovely secluded open space, great atmosphere. Good quality hot and cold foods available. The coffee is made from high quality independently sourced beans. Only small point is that seeming as they have a small kitchen out back, the hot food menu could have a little more variety. Definitely visit if your passing through.

Went for breakfast. Then staff was very welcoming. Head chef Sathya was very warm, helpful and accomodating. Had rixh wholesome breakfast. Even got complimentary drink!!! Will definitely visit again.

The food was amazing and very fresh. Staff was friendly especially the head chef Sathaya made us feel so comfortable. They also have halal food besides other dietary options. The only thing is we need to ask them a day earlier for halal food. Definitely going to visit the cafe often 👍🏻

Wonderful coffee shop, I am Gluten Free and there were many options available, sandwiches, Indian salads, cakes etc etc. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit, food tasted great. Thanks to Satiya for showing me all of the available options! great service 👍👍

All of the drinks were average. The pumpkin spiced latte was not at all flavourful, and the gluten free Honeybuns millionaire leaves a lot to be desired. Not a brilliant Americano be honest, but then there are few places that do serve very good coffee these days.

I used this cafe every lunchtime during a 6-week training course and couldn't fault the standard of customer care and the quality & variety of food on offer. All the staff were friendly and coped well during busy times.

Really nice coffee, perfectly toasted tostie, and the lady with short red hair that served me was really friendly and polite, prices are reasonable also.

Toasted sandwich and drink, very reasonable prices, sat outside in the sun. Service was ok, wasn't offered a glass for my drink, had to go search for it myself, but overall satisfactory.

I love this coffee shop. Delicious locally roasted coffee and freshly made sandwiches, paninis and soups. Lots of vegetarian dishes and good for gluten free options too. Wonderful cakes and traybakes. Fantastic friendly staff. I love that they put some great offers on their social media too.

I had a meeting at Kings House and after this finished I decided to check out the Ground Floor Coffee Shop for a drink as it was a hot day. I did not have to wait long to be served and there are lots of places to sit and relax. They also have free wifi which is handy. It was very busy but it is quite spacious so it makes for a very pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely return.

Often visit here by myself. Coffee is tasty, sandwiches are good and the decor and atmosphere is just right.

I visited the coffee shop whilst wife was at hospital, what a lovely hidden gem. Firstly the staff were so friendly & welcoming, then the coffee & bacon sandwich were delicious. Coffee was so good I went back for 2nds. The service was very good & I enjoyed the experience. High recommend & will definitely return when I am in the area.

My local coffee shop with WiFi, great coffee and loads of space. The outside benches add to the touch when it comes to amazing weather. If you're a professional, startup or even just want to get on with things this is the place to do it. It closes just before 4pm so I would recommend getting there early.

Love this place it's a family friendly coffee shop that serve lots of different salads paninis and sandwiches. Lovely environment to do work free internet access. Friendly staff that love to serve and make your experience a joyful one. Lots of availbilty for conference hire and they do a playgroup on Wednesdays.

A great coffee shop with a good selection of sandwiches, cakes, waffles etc. Best of all is the service which is fantastic with friendly happy staff. The coffee is really good and well priced. Highly recommended, for a much nicer alternative to the usual Costa or Starbucks experience.

Want good coffee off the beaten track? Then look no further than Ground Floor. Tucked away off Ampthill Road, it is the obvious sensible choice for coffee if you are going South out of town or fed up with the queues and average coffee in Kempston Retail Park. Plenty of space, with great range of light food, the coffee is very good. I now often use this as a meeting venue for business during the day as there is always space and the welcome is friendly. Look for what appears to be a warehouse called Kings House, where the old Crayola building used to be and you will find Ground Floor!

the seating area is relaxing and you can rest while drinking or reading a book, or meeting a group of people. The coffee choice is amazing with all sorts of flavours and mixtures that only coffee experts can think of. A good choice of cakes and sandwiches and other hot and cold drinks can be got too. Give this place a try you will be surprised if you do.
