An excellent place to eat Not the cheapest but amongst the best

Simply Superb another wonderful spread of carefully crafted food by a Superb Chef served by an expert team. Stand out is Tomas the manager and Howie the knowledgeable Sommelier.

Set in a historic deer park, the location is beautiful and the restaurant is an imposing tudor style building. The service is fabulous from the moment you walk in the door, polite, informative staff and comfortable tables and chairs with stunning views from all tables. The food was divine, amuse bouche were delicious and I could have eaten the blue cheese beingniers all afternoon. The celery and cheese macarons were so unusual but packed with flavour. Thai carrot soup was amazing as was everything that followed. Great value for such high end food outside of London - well worth a visit.

My favourite place for a tasting menu. Intimate but not claustrophobic. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great food with a great selection of fine wines and non-alcoholic drinks to pair.

We were in early in the evening for the 6 course tasting menu. The food and service were excellent from beginning to end, I can't think of anything to pick out, it was all very enjoyable, except perhaps to highlight the great recommendation from the sommelier. He is worth consulting when you choose the wine, even if you don't go for the flight of wines.

Another exciting lunch at Paris House. The food crafted by a true chef, Phil and served by his expert team. There is a wine list to die for ask Howie, the Sommelier for advise. Ww will be back again.

It is a beautiful setting and the food is creative and beautifully presented. Service was a little less in line with drinks delivered that was not ours and menu for vegetarian forgotten. Was also quite a long wait from Amuse Bouche to starter. It was also unfortunate that we had a large loud family near our table which meant it was difficult to hear ourselves speak and took away from our experience a little. Would certainly return

Another great experience at the Paris House. We had the 4 course lunch and the menu was perfect and the portion sizes were just right. My favorite was definitely the Thai Red Carrot and the Bouillabaisse. Thank you Chef Phil and team for a great afternoon out.

A fantastic meal again after returning for a special occasion. Very accommodating with any tweaks required for dietary requirements etc. Thanks so much for a lovely evening.

We love Paris House! We have been dining there for special occasions, and occasionally just as a treat, for years and have never been disappointed. From the moment you enter the deer park, the welcome when you walk through the door, the friendly and efficient service and the everchanging and inventive menu, it is a series of delights. They have even introduced a non-alcoholic wine pairing which is wonderful for non drinkers. It's certainly not cheap but if you want something special, then it's worth it. Just been there for my wife's birthday and we have our next visit pencilled in the diary.

Always amazing! The masterful art work in presentation and the complemented flavors that come together. The staff are exquisite and masters at creating the perfect fine dinning. Paris House is without a doubt a must do experience if you are in the area or apart of making your travel plans.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and paired perfectly with the flight of wines. The vegan option was equal to the non-vegan, which is a rarity. Staff and service were unmatchable. An absolute pleasure and we would love to visit again.

Exceptional. The nicest meal (tasting menu, Jan 2025) that I've had in a very long time. The service was excellent from start to finish, and our principal waiter was brilliant. There was not a single thing on the tasting menu that we didn't thoroughly enjoy, and we left absolutely stuffed. We joked at the beginning that if we're still hungry we can pop to the shop on the way back, but that was definitely not on the cards at the end... I can't wait to find another occasion to celebrate and go back. I was also quite surprised at how they don't automatically add tips to their bills (a refreshing surprise). We did of course leave a tip given how positive of an experience it was, but increasingly UK restaurants are copying our friends over the pond, which I personally find a little bit grating. So, thank you for not doing that too, and for letting your great food and service speak for itself!

Great food on Paris House’s Winter tasting menu. Unfortunately, let down slightly by the service, with my wife and me having to wait 45 minutes between courses, which was too long for us. The frustration comes as other tables around us arrived later and finished sooner, so we felt somewhat forgotten.

We have been several times before. Today was the best yet. The food was excellent . We had the 6 course tasting menu . Every course was absolutely delicious . They catered for one of us having coeliac disease with no fuss and the dishes were all comparable. Excellent in every way. Paris House does not have a Michelin Star but some places we have been to that do have a star are not as good. Bravo to Phil, Thomas, Howie and the rest of the team - superb!

Fantastic meal and service for our anniversary today. Team were all so lovely and professional. My husband had wine tasting which they kindly catered to him as only likes white wine. I am currently pregnant and the team talked me through any changes that were required in the menu to be safe. We can't wait to come back again

Six course tasting menu plus amuse bouche. All courses were excellent, packed with flavour. The Carrots in a Thai broth were superb and packed a punch. I had the scallops for the third course which were excellent but my wife had the Mushrooms as an option they were even better. After the venison course 5 was a very clever palate cleanser (called a Snowball but was a yuzu granita with coconut and eggnog) before the final dessert. Every course has interesting and different flavours. Thomas, Howie and the rest of the staff are as good as they get. Friendly, helpful and efficient. A place for special occasions and a treat. My favorite restaurant.

We have been before and i think the first time was better but remember this is fine dining and meticulously prepared food, some things never seen or tasted before. Located in beautiful grounds, it’s a great venue for a special occasion but boy it’s right up there for price.

Stunning environment, delicious food and attentive staff. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and had an unforgettable memory there. Highly recommend the Paris House to my friends and family.

Within Woburn Deer Park and the 'Paris Exhibition Exhibit that is Paris House. We had an excellent meal within a calm and relaxing dining room. The venue interior is not inspirational but we went for the cookery rather than the interior design! Our meal was beautifully presented with some outstandingly delicious courses, 'carrot soup' and 'the Lamb' in particular. With the added delight of some wonderfully tasting bread and oat cake biscuits with cheese. We were served by attentive waiting staff who were able to discuss the menu and the wine list with passion and knowledge but still managed not to be overly obvious. With great company and delicious food overall a great experience.

Celebrated wife's birthday in style with a four course lunch menu. Great ambience, attentive and courteous service and delicious courses beautifully presented. Loved it!

The savoury dishes were enjoyed thoroughly, however neither of us enjoyed the desert dishes. Which is rather unfortunate considering i have a sweet tooth. The wine pairing was far too expensive for what you received. Especially when they were served out of sync of the dish it was paired with. A few times we had finished before the food was served and other times we still had the previous wine on the table. Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, our server unfortunately had an accent that made the explanation of what each dish was unintelligible. Which for a tasting menu, was rather important. Overall we had a nice evening, but could have been better. The price didn't reflect the expectation.

Paris House is wonderful. From the moment you drive into the deer park to the moment you leave, it is simply a treat. The menu is always different, the tastes and flavours are fascinating and inventive. Service is friendly but unobtrusive. We have been coming to Paris house several times every year for birthdays and special occasions for quite a few years now and hope to go on doing so.

An excellent, and interesting lunch - somewhat reminiscent of Masterchef Professionals! Very friendly staff, and an excellent ambience.

Paris house is perfect for any special occasion. The location is stunning. We tried the new festive menu last night & don’t have anything but praise for it as the dishes are super tasty, presentation is beautiful & the menu is cohesive. They provide a range of non alcoholic drinks & mocktails, as well as an extensive list of wine & other drinks. I absolutely love that I never feel like I’m missing out as a vegan or vegetarian wither Service as always was great, attentive enough with out us feeling like we’re being hassled. The staff are clearly passionate about their work.

The experience of dining at Paris House was nice - the attention to detail regarding the food was outstanding in respect of understanding and accomodating dietary needs. The wine was incredibly over priced - a £45 bottle of Toscana Turpino 2017 was priced at £120...one appreciates there will be a mark-up, but that's extortionate. I also had to ask to move tables upon arrival - I find these 'canteen' style layouts very impersonal, especially for the style of dining experience PH is aiming and charging for - sitting newly arriving patrons next to diners who are mid-meal and mid-conversation, when there was a row of 3 unoccupied tables that we had to walk past to squeeze around said couple, and into a corner table into an already full area did not start the evening off well...stagger people so we don't feel like we've gate-crashed a conversation, especially when you have multiple empty tables! When I asked to move tables the Maître d' looked at me as if I was asking to sell his first born child to the goblin king - his reaction nearly made us walk out, and should we visit again a conversation pre-visit to confirm the table location would need to be made.

First visit for a birthday dinner last year. Food was very well presented. Only seasonal tasting menu was on the menu. The young waitress was rapidly shooting out the ingredients like a machine gun. She did the same to other diners too. And we all had to laugh as this is supposed to be fine dining. Obviously it was not funny. Overall it was not as I expected in a' fine dining' experience. The restaurant owner deserve better ratings if not for the poor experience. Final bill was nearer to £300 for a couple. Don't think I will be back there.

We love the service and food and cannot fault any of our lunches. We would recommend the 6 course tasting menu and my husband loves the cheese and port flight. Will return when the new menu arrives. Thank you and all the staff who are always extremely polite and helpful.

Not our first time at Paris House and certainly not our last. The food is creative, beautifully presented and exceptional quality as it has been on every occasion we have dined here. Dining. Room is small and intimate but service to my mind is perfect - focussed, attentively casual and well timed. Yes…. it’s not cheap but service charges are deliberately absent and this level of artistry and quality has a price as does the unique location. Check out the many photos online - if the food looks good to you…. book, it’s worth it.

It was a surprise for my wife for our 34th anniversary, had the most loveliest evening great good and excellent service. The taster menu was brilliant.

Overall it was okay. Some of the courses well presented. Beautiful surroundings with deer roaming. None of the food was a wow. No blasts of flavour. Served nuts for one course although had requested nut free due to severe allergy. Staff not ‘Uber attentive’ as stated on their website. Was disappointing, glad I experienced it but wouldn’t return.

The food and service were excellent—definitely a luxe experience, albeit on the expensive side. One suggestion: the background music could be better curated to enhance the ambiance. Tracks from ABBA, Adele, and Take That give it a more casual, mid-level feel, which doesn’t quite align with the five-star atmosphere you're aiming for.

Second time enjoying the delights and wonderful dishes of the taster menu at Paris House. Warm and welcoming service from the moment we arrived, excellent attentive service throughout and all dishes and wines were explained with such care and knowledge. A very special establishment to dine for any occasion!

My first visit to Paris House was over 20 years ago and I must say every visit is wonderful . Fantastic chef, excellent service and a wonderful lunch .

Great food and lovely not to be rushed. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion . Only criticism, if you are serving marmite butter, then at least make it taste like marmite , after all, you either love it or hate it and those who hate it wouldn’t eat it anyway . Maybe try whipped marmite butter ?

Over the years we have been here a number of times and with different owners/chefs, sad to say our last visit was the second of two rather disappointing evenings in the last couple of years. Setting is lovely, interior has changed to allow more covers hence not as intimate or exclusive as before and the food was good but for the price, ambience and expectations. Its not a restaurant we would return to or recommend. Sorry!

Excellent original interesting food, superb appropriate and informed service. Sometimes restaurants can go over the top.with service not here it added to the enjoyment and the timing was perfect. Setting is out of this world. A truly wonderful afternoon. Looling firward to our next visit.

To celebrate my husbands birthday, we had the 6 course tasting menu. Started off with some canapés which is an explosion of different flavours in your mouth. 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts with some bread all delicately plated. This is an experience and worth every penny, I recommend. Oh and they gave my husband a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch.

The food is exquisitely created and presented beautifully in an attentive way. You are taken on a journey of tastes, textures and sights. This sensational experience is perfect for a special occasion.

This was a super celebration for Mum’s 80th birthday. Everything was perfect and the food was really special and different, with variety between courses. We have several non-drinkers in the family who were not with us on this occasion, but with them in mind we were particularly impressed that Paris House caters well for alcohol-free choices as this aspect of a meal is often overlooked.

As a solo dinner, it was a great dining experience. The service was consistent across all diners. The staff were all on the ball and very pleasant. Every dish of the 6 course tasting was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. I particularly enjoyed being able to taste the flavours of each dish and part of each dish. The venue is also very lovely and being offered to have a drink outside to take in the scenery is a nice touch.

Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. Attentive but unobtrusive staff and a personal touch with a card for the special occasion for our visit. Not a single thing we didn’t like.

Absolutely fabulous. My grandchildren (15&16) loved it as did I. Everyone was most attentive and the food was exceptional. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent service in a beautiful building in a gorgeous setting. Food was fabulous overall though we didn’t quite get the last course (duck egg custard tart - little flavour and strange texture). Wine pairing was the star of the show though. Hats off to the sommelier!

We had a super lunch. Food was amazing, service was excellent and unobtrusive. Pace of service was perfect for us, relaxed and allowing a chat between courses. Didn’t disappoint.

About 2 years ago recommended Paris House to friends from abroad who appreciate fine dining. I had been lucky enough to visit a couple of times in the past for important celebrations and knew they would enjoy it. We had a wonderful meal and our only regret was that we couldn't opt for the paired wines as we were driving. So promised to do so next time they visited. We had a truly memorable time. We started with cocktails and amuse bouche (including tiny melt in the mouth beignets) on the terrace overlooking the parkland. Then the amazing menu opting for for the cheese course too that meant seven courses . From the Marmite butter (one option, not the only one for those who don't share my love of the yessty concoction) to the Custard tart, the food was delicious,the presentation artful and the overall experience faultless. c and amuse bouche (including melt in the mouth tiny beignets). We headed back to the terrace for coffee. The service was excellent, friendly and perfectly paced and we appreciated the really interesting information about the wines and their producers too.

Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal at the Paris House last Friday. Faultless. Highly recommend this totally unique restaurant in the Deer Park at Woburn Abbey.

Having been here on a number of occasions I have to say this visit was outstanding. It’s always very good but I think everything about our visit was just superb. The tasting menu was a delicious experience and when asked by the very attentive staff which course was the best it was a difficult question to answer as everything was spot on. Look forward to our next visit, thank you.

We had been avoiding Paris House since a terrible night 17 years ago. Finally, we got over it and tried again! We were glad we did because the atmosphere and service has improved greatly and the food was phenomenal. The crab rillette entree was our favourite and a great way to start. They offer a multi-course tasting menu, as many fine dining places do, so you have to be easy going with your tastes. I even enjoyed the custard tart, which is something I would usually avoid. From drinks on the terrace watching the deer (we were lucky with the weather) to the final course, we enjoyed it immensely. Only criticism is maybe we could have a little more in each glass for the wine pairing?

We’re always assured of a wonderful meal every time we dine at Paris House. Amazing location in the middle of a deer park. The food is absolutely delicious, with some Asian influence in some of the courses. Each one hits the mark and is brilliantly executed. The staff are lovely - enthusiastic and knowledgeable too. We have never been disappointed at Paris House.
