Delicious food, cocktails and wine and excellent service. Highly recommend.

Overall it was okay. Some of the courses well presented. Beautiful surroundings with deer roaming. None of the food was a wow. No blasts of flavour. Served nuts for one course although had requested nut free due to severe allergy. Staff not ‘Uber attentive’ as stated on their website. Was disappointing, glad I experienced it but wouldn’t return.

The food and service were excellent—definitely a luxe experience, albeit on the expensive side. One suggestion: the background music could be better curated to enhance the ambiance. Tracks from ABBA, Adele, and Take That give it a more casual, mid-level feel, which doesn’t quite align with the five-star atmosphere you're aiming for.

Second time enjoying the delights and wonderful dishes of the taster menu at Paris House. Warm and welcoming service from the moment we arrived, excellent attentive service throughout and all dishes and wines were explained with such care and knowledge. A very special establishment to dine for any occasion!

This is a beautiful restaurant, in gorgeous surroundings. The service was excellent as was the food. I was here for a business lunch but would certainly visit again for a private, special occasion.

The whole experience was wonderful. Food was excellent and very well presented and explained by our servers. Wine list was extensive and very pleased with our choice. All round excellent dining experience in a beautiful setting. We shall absolutely return.

My first visit to Paris House was over 20 years ago and I must say every visit is wonderful . Fantastic chef, excellent service and a wonderful lunch .

Disappointing. Lovely setting. Service slow. Older man serving cocktails didn't speak. Younger wine sommelier was lovely friendly & informative. Food was bit underwhelming but presented nicely.

Great food and lovely not to be rushed. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion . Only criticism, if you are serving marmite butter, then at least make it taste like marmite , after all, you either love it or hate it and those who hate it wouldn’t eat it anyway . Maybe try whipped marmite butter ?

Over the years we have been here a number of times and with different owners/chefs, sad to say our last visit was the second of two rather disappointing evenings in the last couple of years. Setting is lovely, interior has changed to allow more covers hence not as intimate or exclusive as before and the food was good but for the price, ambience and expectations. Its not a restaurant we would return to or recommend. Sorry!

Excellent original interesting food, superb appropriate and informed service. Sometimes restaurants can go over the top.with service not here it added to the enjoyment and the timing was perfect. Setting is out of this world. A truly wonderful afternoon. Looling firward to our next visit.

1st class restaurant within the most amazing setting with excellent service and superb food

To celebrate my husbands birthday, we had the 6 course tasting menu. Started off with some canapés which is an explosion of different flavours in your mouth. 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts with some bread all delicately plated. This is an experience and worth every penny, I recommend. Oh and they gave my husband a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch.

This was a super celebration for Mum’s 80th birthday. Everything was perfect and the food was really special and different, with variety between courses. We have several non-drinkers in the family who were not with us on this occasion, but with them in mind we were particularly impressed that Paris House caters well for alcohol-free choices as this aspect of a meal is often overlooked.

Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. Attentive but unobtrusive staff and a personal touch with a card for the special occasion for our visit. Not a single thing we didn’t like.

As a solo dinner, it was a great dining experience. The service was consistent across all diners. The staff were all on the ball and very pleasant. Every dish of the 6 course tasting was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. I particularly enjoyed being able to taste the flavours of each dish and part of each dish. The venue is also very lovely and being offered to have a drink outside to take in the scenery is a nice touch.

Absolutely fabulous. My grandchildren (15&16) loved it as did I. Everyone was most attentive and the food was exceptional. Would recommend to anyone.

Very impressive cookery skills and presentation to match

Excellent service in a beautiful building in a gorgeous setting. Food was fabulous overall though we didn’t quite get the last course (duck egg custard tart - little flavour and strange texture). Wine pairing was the star of the show though. Hats off to the sommelier!

About 2 years ago recommended Paris House to friends from abroad who appreciate fine dining. I had been lucky enough to visit a couple of times in the past for important celebrations and knew they would enjoy it. We had a wonderful meal and our only regret was that we couldn't opt for the paired wines as we were driving. So promised to do so next time they visited. We had a truly memorable time. We started with cocktails and amuse bouche (including tiny melt in the mouth beignets) on the terrace overlooking the parkland. Then the amazing menu opting for for the cheese course too that meant seven courses . From the Marmite butter (one option, not the only one for those who don't share my love of the yessty concoction) to the Custard tart, the food was delicious,the presentation artful and the overall experience faultless. c and amuse bouche (including melt in the mouth tiny beignets). We headed back to the terrace for coffee. The service was excellent, friendly and perfectly paced and we appreciated the really interesting information about the wines and their producers too.

Having been here on a number of occasions I have to say this visit was outstanding. It’s always very good but I think everything about our visit was just superb. The tasting menu was a delicious experience and when asked by the very attentive staff which course was the best it was a difficult question to answer as everything was spot on. Fantastic, we had a lovely afternoon with great food and great service

Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal at the Paris House last Friday. Faultless. Highly recommend this totally unique restaurant in the Deer Park at Woburn Abbey.

We had been avoiding Paris House since a terrible night 17 years ago. Finally, we got over it and tried again! We were glad we did because the atmosphere and service has improved greatly and the food was phenomenal. The crab rillette entree was our favourite and a great way to start. They offer a multi-course tasting menu, as many fine dining places do, so you have to be easy going with your tastes. I even enjoyed the custard tart, which is something I would usually avoid. From drinks on the terrace watching the deer (we were lucky with the weather) to the final course, we enjoyed it immensely. Only criticism is maybe we could have a little more in each glass for the wine pairing?

We’re always assured of a wonderful meal every time we dine at Paris House. Amazing location in the middle of a deer park. The food is absolutely delicious, with some Asian influence in some of the courses. Each one hits the mark and is brilliantly executed. The staff are lovely - enthusiastic and knowledgeable too. We have never been disappointed at Paris House.

I have recently moved near the area plus it was my birthday so the perfect excuse to book. the drive up to the restaurant is breath-taking and so is the actual building. We was greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our table, the restaurant is nicely done, tables well spaced & had a nice relaxed feel. We had the tasting menu which started of with some beautiful canapes, perfect to get the taste buds going for what is to come, I have to say each course was delicious, beautifully presented & well balanced, I honestly couldn't fault it. The front of house team were very knowledgeable when it came to describing the food & also the history of the building and the sommelier told some really interesting stories about each wine. If you haven't been go, its well worth it and I will definitely be back.

I'm not used to fine dinner so this was a real experience! Highly recommend and hope to be back soon! Go have fun and live a little :) Be prepared to be fussed upon in all the right ways! The only negative is the inability to choose from a menu, as it is a set tasting menu, which always includes dishes which are not necessarily appreciated by everyone. Great thought goes into the preparation of every dish though.

Stunning as always. The Hamachi main course and English Strawberry dessert were particular favourites of ours on this beautiful summer menu.

This is fine dining at it's best at the point where exquisite tastes and flavours appear with every course. Service is very attentive without being obtrusive and the location in the deer park is stunning. We come here several times each year for a meal with family or a quiet meal for two. It is a delight.

Party of 4 visiting Paris House for 1st time. Of the 6 courses, we couldn't decide on a favourite although the tomatoe and beef courses were amazing. Special mention the skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly waiters and sommelier who helped made the evening.

Food was excellent as always, great service in a lovely location. Howie the wine man was helpful and on good form as usual. Only disappointment was being charged £8 per head supplement for switching the dessert on the four course menu. I know times are hard but bearing in mind how many times we've been to the Paris House and how much we spend, I think it was unnecessary. Back again on the 16th August but don't feel as 'in love' with the place now which is a great shame.

We were a party of seven and had a wonderful lunch celebrating numerous important birthdays and everyone (across the generations) had a wonderful time. Excellent food, fabulous wine and non alcoholic options, the service was outstanding and generally a fabulous day.

Arrived and nowhere to park - not a good start. Found our way inside and greeted by the restaurant manager who is an interesting and welcoming gentlemen. Felt a little pushed to sit at the table inside rather than enjoy the warm weather outside. However, our request to sit on the terrace was accepted and we enjoyed a delightful cocktail overlooking the park. From there sadly it went downhill. Sat at the table inside at an unclothed table with a view of uncleanliness; dirt under the next table and the window full of cobwebs. Food surprisingly average and lacked flavour and textures off such as the gel on the strawberry dessert contained too much setting agent and the seasoning was lacking but the food intolerances were exceptionally well catered for. No-one did a check back so assume they don’t feel the need. Wine was well chosen and sommelier is a very interesting chap but felt the wine flight was overpriced at £52 for just over a large glass (280 ml) in total. Lady who explained what the dishes are just muttered in a monotone voice and neither of us or the next table understood a word which caused a comment between us. £250 total bill for two for lunch we felt was a tad OTT. 1 star for location and 1 star for friendliness and service by the restaurant manager and sommelier. -3 for the food.

What a fantastic place Set in stunning grounds we sat outside with a pre drink and watch deer grazing. There was no rush from staff It was nice that only one of us could have the pairing wines The service is very friendly and the sommelier was so knowledgable and gave stories of the wineries The food is fantastic. It is not classic as you would expect and this is a plus, but the little twists make it so good. The team get every bit of flavour out of the ingredients The atmosphere is lovely and being only about 10-12 tables there is no noise and you could speak in normal tones. The deer roaming past the window added to this

Excellent food, staff, location and ambiance. This, as they say, is the ne plus ultra of culinary delights. There's nowhere to go from here. Set in a deer park, arrive early to enjoy an aperitif and the views of the deer. The atmosphere is relaxed, tastefully designed and not over bearing. An aperitif each, glass of wine each, tasting menu, coffees and tip cost 2 of us £315.

I would have preferred a table slightly away from other guests. You could hear literally everything the people next to us were saying. We were seated opposite the staff station so I would ask not to be seated here next time.

We were warmly welcomed, followed by phenomenal service. Our server was so knowledgeable, we asked where food was scourced, also being celiac i was checking things for allergy ect. Amy was able to answer all our questions which alleviated any concerns, this lead to truly wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary.

Exquisite food, beautifully presented, and complemented by delicious wines. The Sommelier was interesting, knowledgeable, and goodnatured. It was a 80th birthday treat for my friend - she described the whole experience as absolutely delightful. Thank you so much for making us so welcome.

We've celabrated many events at Paris Hose many time over the past 30 years and always enjoyed it, as we did again yesterday. The service, the overall experience, and the food are all top notch and if I was pushed to provide feedback, I would say that at lunchtime, offering a flight of wines can make some diners a bit noisy! Nothing that can't be ignored though. We'll be back!

Amazing meal as always. I visit a couple of times a year and never disappointed. Love it when a new menu comes out. Service was wonderful, not too over the top. The menu was a challenge as I am a fussy eater but loved all the courses. Even the deer turned up for a picture.

We visited to celebrate a birthday and will definitely be returning. The service was exceptional and the staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable. They were very attentive to allergies, including having a separate copy of the menu printed to reflect the difference in dishes as well as discussing the adjustments made for the allergy when bringing each dish out. The sommelier was wonderful as well, describing the wines but also adding in personal touches about the regions they came from and his knowledge of the area. We were given time and space to enjoy each course which I appreciated, as at no point did we feel rushed or pressured.
