Every visit to this restaurant leaves me genuinely impressed by the creative mastery of the chef, the inspired selections from the sommelier, and the impeccable professionalism of the entire staff. Each member of the team strikes the perfect balance of warmth and expertise, making every guest feel welcome and well cared for. I recently dined here with a friend visiting from Italy—both of us passionate about good food—and we left feeling thoroughly delighted by the experience. This place is a gem for food enthusiasts seeking both innovation and quality, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

I was probably expecting something more from a Michelin star awarded restaurant. The food was good, much more than what you can usually get in London but I left the place with the sense that they were missing something. It’s straight forward, you go there to have good food, not to delight all your senses so I guess it depends on what you like. The dessert was delicious.

This is a truly excellent restaurant with deeply imaginative and delicious food. Much of the produce comes from its own garden outside London - a nice touch. It is worthy of its Michelin star with an added touch: it’s also a nicely personal local Chelsea restaurant. Great staff - everyone. Bravo!

The Five Fields is a culinary jewel. My husband and I are regular visitors and we love everything about it - the beautiful room, the wonderful staff and the incredible food. We discovered the restaurant earlier this year and have visited numerous times since then, including recently hosting a small anniversary party in the private room. The staff could not have done more to make it a memorable experience for our guests; from the food and wine to the service and the ambiance - everything was perfect. The menu is seasonal and uses the finest produce from the restaurant's garden in Sussex. I normally avoid tasting menus, which I find can be a bit pretentious and more about the chef than the customer, but that is absolutely not the case. Every course is a lesson in how a skilled chef can work magic with the best ingredients. I consider myself a really picky eater, but I have enjoyed every morsel of the dishes at the Five Fields. I'm not a meat eater and this was dealt with seamlessly by the restaurant when we made our first booking, providing me with a brilliant fish alternative to the meat course on the menu and remembering my preference on each occasion we ate there subsequently.

We used the private room for our wedding lunch. The service was absolutely impeccable. We had the lunch tasting menu and it was so beautifully cooked that even picky eaters in our party were eating their 'dislikes' with glee as it was so creative. I can't recommend this restaurant enough x

This is the first review I have written without actually tasting any food. But we have had a bad experience when booking a set menu the restaurant changed the menu to only offer a tasting menu at over double the price without informing us, it was only by chance we noticed on the website that the set menu had been removed. Very poor communication as they didn’t think it necessary to advise us “the customer” !!

We visited The Five Fields in June and our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the warmth and professionalism from everyone on their team makes you feel right at home. The food was excellent and every dish delicately prepared so as to highlight the flavour of the fresh and seasonal produce. The restaurant manager, Sebastien, took excellent care of our table. At the end of the meal he kindly gave us a tour of the kitchen and the team were even kind enough to send us a copy of our menus from the evening through the post (To Paris!) These people understand the true essence of hospitality and we felt the passion in everything they do. Thank you again to the whole team!

More and more people these days seem worried by a nice piece of linen draped over a table and are intimidated by friendly service if the staff are smartly dressed. If you are one of these people then you should avoid The Five Fields. If, however, you are capable of dealing with a table covered in a cloth, don't mind staff who let you know what dish they've just put in front of you and relish working with a friendly sommelier to discover new and exciting wines from around the world (think Riesling from Spain for example) then you should reserve a table here. Those who do will be rewarded with one of the finest meals available in London at the moment. Cooking is precise, combinations imaginative and flavours in turn bold and subtle. In addition to the superb wine list, those with a love of cocktails will not be disappointed. Service is friendly, professional and unobtrusive. Enjoy.

I was really very excited to see this place just back the King’s road… . From outside you cannot see too much and reading the menu on their door it was very interesting to have the opportunity to try the testing menu. I want to clarify that I’m extremely picky when it comes to testing menus… . When I booked they asked me to be there at 6:30pm and we did but even if outside it was a beautiful sunny day inside the restaurant was very dark… . They welcome us and they asked for a welcome drink… 1 champagne & 1 Sancerre Mellot 2022… . The menu was : CANAPÉS Leek / Trout / Corra Linn / Crab ​I didn’t find so interesting it was good but not unique TOMATO Poached Oyster, Frozen Green Tomato and Camomile I found really very good ​ BEETROOT Scallop and Cured Beetroot; ​Scallop Tartare with Golden Beetroot Dressing ​well presented dishes but it was a pity because the scallops was a bit overcooked LOBSTER Roasted Tail with Braised Fennel I found even the lobster a bit overcooked ​ 1 COD Steamed with Dill and Dried Courgette Very good + 1 TURBOT Grilled with Kohlrabi and Woodruff Very Good ​ LAMB Saddle with Charred Lettuce and Coriander; Slow Roasted Shoulder and Yoghurt It was delicious & tender ​ “BLUEBERRY Tart with Lemon Verbena; Blueberry Sorbet” I’m really sorry that we decided to leave without testing it…. . To drink we had a very good bottle of SANCERRE La Moussière, 2022, Alphonse Mellot Loire Valley France It was Fantastic The staff was very good & professional. I found all the experience very expensive and the room very dark. We payed almost the same price that we did to Helene Darroze at the Connaught *** Michelin Star

Having tried most of the top restaurants in London (some which perplexingly have more Michelin stars), this place stands out. Absolute perfection, the timing of the main after various courses and wine pairings made that first bite memorable. Unlike many where one or two courses are great, here every single course was fantastic. A must try for any foodie

Amazing tasting dinner at Five Fields! The food was one star of the evening: incredibly fresh, inventive and most importantly, delicious. The service was another highlight. We were treated like royalty all night. Great for a celebration. The neighborhood is charming.

The simple elegance of the beautiful rooms of this restaurant hints at the exquisite dining experience patrons will encounter here. The service is impeccable and the food is sublime. Our last night in London before returning to Los Angeles was a spectacular one thanks to The Five Fields. We hope to return here on future London visits.

This place was absolutely fabulous. We did the tasting menu, including the related wines. The service was impeccable, the wine steward was extremely knowledgeable and informative, the food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was elegant without being stuffy or pretentious. Our night out was certainly not inexpensive but it was absolutely worth it. We both particularly appreciated the wine pairings because the selection included some wines/regions that were new to us. I could not recommend The Five Fields more highly!

One of the most expensive meals I have had in London, but it didn’t disappoint! Menu is very creative and you can feel the passion for food and good ingredients from the dishes. Cannot fault the service at all, the lady that explained the dishes was kind and manager was very welcoming. Hope to be back soon!

This is one of the best restaurants in London. We have been going regularly since it opened and we have always had a fantastic meal. The food is amazing, the staff wonderful and the wine list excellent. You’re always made to very welcome and you’re never rushed. A must visit.

Located on an unassuming street, this elegant restaurant offers a delicious tasting menu. We loved our meal here eight years ago and the return was not disappointing. We particularly enjoyed the asparagus dish, the scallop and cured beetroot, and the lobster tail. My wife doesn’t care for lamb, but I found the lamb saddle with potato and wild garlic dumpling scrumptious. And we savored all of the dessert treats. The service was classy. Unfortunately, because of our server’s accent, we were not always sure of all the tasty ingredients we were enjoying. And of course, it is a very pricey meal – but one knew that when making the reservation. Nevertheless, we had a marvelous dining experience, again.

My husbands fav restaurant, and we came for his birthday, it didnt disappoint, the staff were so sweet and it was a lovely celebration. Can’t wait to visit again. Food was superb!

My wife got very sick after eating here and felt the restaurant ducked the issue totally despite several contacts. We weren’t looking for a free meal but having spent high hundreds of pounds for two they could have sent a bunch of flowers. We went for her birthday and pre-vomiting the evening was very civilized. The restaurant is very much a hushed, foodie environment with a small number of covers and attentive but not intrusive service. Aside from bad oysters or whatever it was, the food was very good, albeit rich, so you need a reasonable constitution. If you like eating beautifully presented food in an immaculate and hushed environment and your stomach can handle it then this is for you but this is expensive and there are cheaper places in London with equally tasty food.

The food presentation is like fine art .. taste was spotless. We went for the lunch menu and it's very reasonably priced. Wine was extraordinary. The Five Fields In our lifetime we have enjoyed some amazing dining experiences but I have to say that on saturday our lunch at The Five Fields was simply outstanding. The food created by chefs Taylor , Marguerite , Robert and all the team was exceptional. The service from Sebastian , Sandra and Muriel was first class and sommelier Michaela recommended some fabulous wine that complimented each dish perfectly. Our afternoon started with a delightful welcome before being escorted to our table. Once settled we received a nice surprise as we were poured a complimentary glass of champagne to welcome us back to the restaurant. We then looked at the menu while enjoying some Irish charcuterie. They only have one menu which is a 6 course Tasting Menu with a couple of supplemented dishes that is amazingly priced at just £95. The menu starts with a fabulous selection of snacks before your eyes and palate are in for a real treat because dish after dish that followed left us in amazement. The quality , the skill , the flavour and the presentation of each course just blew us away. If this wasn’t enough we had the honour of being treated to a couple of dishes from the evening menu in the form of the Asparagus and the Lobster. This personally is a restaurant that I would put at the top of your list because they are in every way an absolute credit to the hospitality industry. We have been coming for over eight years and each visit gets better and better. I hope the pics that follow give you the incentive to pick up the phone and make a reservation because believe me you won’t want to miss out. Every single thing about this dining experience was absolutely perfect - from the serving sizes to the impeccable service, the amazing combination of textures and tastes to the plating, and the diverse wine list (particularly by the glass). The attention to detail was incredible, and every single thing was thought about. Loved that there was a champagne trolley too! Absolutely loved our experience here and looking forward to coming again.

First, the service was amazing, you could tell the level of professionalism and knowledge, special mention to Sebastien, Nono and Murielle for making this experience unforgettable. Second, It was my boyfriend’s birthday, when we arrived he got a little birthday card, the menu was also personalised wishing him a happy birthday and he was allowed to have it as a souvenir at the end of the night. Third, the fruits, vegetables and even the honey come from their farm, making the experience even more meaningful. I highly recommend it! … when is the second Michelin Star? It is well-deserved

Stunning, just stunning. One of the very best tasting menus we’ve ever had and we’ve had many. From start to finish the service is absolutely fantastic. We had a leisurely, almost 4 hour dinner. We didn’t want it to end.

Five Fields is located a short walk from Sloane Square tube station, a small intimate restaurant with a lovely ambience and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The menu was excellent, with my personal favourites being the seared scallop, lobster tail, turbot and rhubarb dessert. They are more than worthy of their Michelin star and I highly recommend this restaurant to any London fine diners.

My family and I have visited Five Felds on a number of occasions, and have never been disappointed in any way. The service is impeccable and polished without being stuffy. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had the set course dinner, each dish was a delight; imaginative, creative food that looked and tasted wonderful!

We had a lovely time, but unfortunately I did not enjoy my main course, the venison, which was a shame. All the other courses were very tasty, but the only problem was the courses were tiny and to be honest we were still a bit hungry in the end! Staff was great! Thank you!

What an amazing place. Been there a few times now and I can’t fault it. Being a gourmet person I had the chance to go to many places including Osteria Francescana etc and I believe I have the right to share my own opinion about it In simple words as Tina used to say… Simply the best! Incredible dining experience, expensive but worth every penny!

We had a great experience at the Five Fields. The restaurant is tucked away in a side street near Sloane Square. The dining room is intimate, having a sepia tone lighting. The menu was perfect, having plates of oysters, scallops, lobster, cod and venison. Dishes show a blend of delicate and soft flavors, with stronger and bold sauces, keeping a great balance. Normally plates will also come with an extra on the side to accompany the dish (not necessary in my view, as the dishes are already completely on their own). Nuno, the sommelier, guide us extremely well on the wine pairing experience (they offer 3 options, based on the quality of the wines). Otherwise they have an extensive wine list. Overall, a great and unique experience.

Went to this cosy, warm restaurant for the tasting menu on a Saturday night. With friends. One of my most enjoyable nights out. Delicious food, more than worth the cost when you consider the 12 staff behind the scenes. Nuno the Sommelier was informative and friendly and we had some interesting wines.

Came to celebrate a triple set of wedding anniversaries. What a memorable occasion. Everyone was wonderful and attentive. The table setting developed like a play with brilliant lighting understated setting which then was embellished with the most wonderful exciting food. Accompanying wines were brilliant. Ben 4 membri dello staff ci hanno coccolato per tutto il corso della serata. A mio avviso uno dei migliori ristoranti di una città che offre livelli culinari eccezionali

The 3 best courses in the fixed menu were scallops, lobbyer and deer, the latter being the top. The Glir de Pingus red wine was also excellent.
