Came here for the first time today and will definitely be back! The toasties were delicious and the service was incredible! Thank you so much to the gentleman who served us today (sorry we didn't catch your name) My son has just turned one and the gentleman catered to his every need and didn't mind the mess we made! He then made sure we got his hat back when we'd left it! You were a star! I hope your head is clear 🙏

Popped in for a quick bite to eat but we did not expect what was delivered to our table soon after ordering. The food was absolutely delicious,I enjoyed a spinach, cheese and mushroom quiche that had been freshly made that morning and potato salad dressed with a grain mustard dressing with tossed lettuce leaves along with beautiful crispy chips . My husband enjoyed a pastrami ciabatta, it was succulent and accompanied with Swiss cheese, salad and a Russian dressing. Served with crispy chips it was a good plateful! All was enjoyed in a lovely warm atmosphere. Thank you so much Joshua Tree.

We stayed in the Kariega room and we were so pleased. Private hot tub with a gorgeous view of the river and the room was delightful. Not far from Aysgarth Falls . Definitely worth a visit if you stay at Yorebridge. I could go on and on about how fab this place is. Love it !

The food here was wonderful. The waitress was very polite, and they were able to accommodate my request to have my burger plain. They even reduced the price of the burger by £5 as a result. The atmosphere was very good. You couldn't hear glasses clinking together being collected, like you could in any other bar/restaurant, and you could actually hear yourself think which was nice. While there was an amount of noise due to other customers talking that's just to be expected. There's a nice selection of cakes and sweet treats to buy and they all look very nice. Would definitely come again

Excellent place, well run, we stayed the night for Bed and Breakfast and Dinner. Room 6 is large, lovely comfy bed, clean new bathroom, towel lovely and soft as was the bath robe. Dinner was excellent one of the best steak pies ever. Beers are good and a fair selection. A proper village pub which the locals use and love. Breakfast was of a good quality, even the fruit was top notch. Will return, this is one of the best.

Came across Chestnut Meats while searching to buy some kid for Easter as my local butchers were extremely unhelpful. The service I received from ordering to delivery was faultless. They were happy to discuss over the phone my particular butchery requirements and the kid was delivered today and it was exactly as I had asked. Excellent looking meat and I can’t wait to prep and cook it this Easter Sunday. I’ll definitely be ordering more!

NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED :-( The Plough at Rede is one of Suffolks best kept secrets. A thatched pub with oak beams, an open fire, all tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Rede. Stunning location, fabulous atmosphere with a warm welcome and the best food for miles around. Brian and Joyce have been running the Plough for over 30 years with customers returning time and time again. Ide give 100 stars if I could.

"We have been to Osip on six occasions, both in Bruton and at the new location and at Kingsettle Hill. The food and service was, as usual, exceptional. However, when I got home I noticed that we had been charged £6 for "filtered" water. Now, when we sat down at the table we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and I replied tap please, for which I expected it to come out of a reliable Somerset tap as I live in the county 10 miles away and have yet to be warned that our water is unsanitary. If I had wanted argan oil to wash my hands with, I would expect it to be processed from the excreted pellets of goats living in Moroccan trees, However, from a request for water from a tap I would want just that. Considering the meal came to £200 per head and that also being what was paid by your other guests, it was rather a cheap penny pinching act on your part to charge for a unrequested demand. So, what would have been a memorable birthday treat for a close friend has lingered with me over the weekend as a nasty taste in the mouth. I do not intend to recommend Osip to friends until you decide to change this parsimonious activity. ...
