The Piggery Shop in Worthing

The selection of dishes surrounding the basic concept wad vast, but not overwhelming. The service was prompt, yet friendly. The sandwich itself is everything I wanted from a hog roast sandwich.

Heaven on Earth. The aromas, the food, the girls and the brown sauce. Everything tastes incredible. A visit here makes life just a little better.

Food is lovely, nothing like it around when comes to hog roasts.

Great food, they gladly helped divide the order up to suit my family's diverse bap construction issues... They don't take card payments but will still take bank transfer or cash.

We tried the "Big Man Mixed Meat Bap" at this sandwich spot, and man, it was insanely tasty! The roast pork, bacon, sausage, stuffing, and crackling combo was like a flavor explosion. Seriously, these were the best baps ever – pure yumminess!

Popped in to get out of the rain and was overwhelmed by the quality of options, service to explain everything I could order and dietary knowledge. It's been too long for me to try it and I'm not leaving as long to come back. Didn't last long enough for a picture unfortunately.

Been before and it's always very good food. Had to take my Dad to get some lunch. Brilliant customer service. Very happy and very full. Five star.

If you haven't eaten here you haven't lived ! Myself and colleagues all agree.....there just is no better takeaway out there. Meat and spuds cooked to absolute perfection and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Run by a mother and daughter team, delightful ladies, and always always have a big smile and ready to laugh with you. Keep doing what you're doing, what a fantastic concept and just the most delicious food. Can I come to Xmas Dinner please?!?!?!? 🤣🤣

Ordered a bacon bap and a sausage bap to start our long drive to Kent. They were perfect! The lady serving was a wonderful friendly person and would definitely go back.

Oh my god this place is amazing, ordered their meal deal; a bap with loads of tender pulled pork, stuffing and crackling, drizzled with their delicious gravy and a good helping of Cranberry sauce, a side of crispy roast potatoes, smothered in gravy. I could eat this amazing combo every day and never get bored of it. The staff are wonderful friendly and very accommodating when you order.

Freshly cooked food with a super friendly team serving. Gammon ham in a roll with all the trimmings is a favorite whilst my wife particularly likes the fish finger sandwich with locally sourced tartare sauce.

Banging food, amazing crackling, friendly service. Not sure why the bloke below left a negative review of a pork based place with "pig" in the name asking for beef. While I think of it, I can't believe they dont sell blancmange. Only thing that would be a plus is a card machine / VAT receipt so I can make my work pay for it 😂

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. I don't eat pork, I said I wanted to eat a roast beef sandwich today. The lady working there sarcastically told me she could give me potatoes and gravy for you, like it was a joke. So sad 😞😔

I do not have the words to explain how wonderful the Three Little Pigs and roast potatoes were. The only thing better was the amazingly friendly staff that served me. There is no doubt that I will be visiting this place on a regular basis. Thank you 😊

In my mouth! Blooming delicious, I try visiting each time I'm down. 3 little pigs bap is mouth watering. I can smell the delicious taste of roast pork and tatties as I wander down the road. Friendly ladies working there always excuse my hungover state. They also now take bank transfers, since nearby cash machine has shut.

If you want a breakfast roll or a roast dinner bap and you're anywhere remotely nearby You would be a fool not to. It's incredible there are no two ways about it.

Great service, tasty food and filled me up. didn't need lunch later on. ladies serving were really helpful and friendly. the meat is cooked to perfection. juicy pork, gammon tender but with enough bite around the edges, crackling was perfect and crispy. the sauce and gravy to top it off are both rich in flavour. will certainly be back, as often as my waistline can allow.

Always a larf with the ladies behind the counter. I usually get the meal deal with the free drink and OMG it's so yummy. Highly recommended

Absolutely adore this little gem! This is probably one of the smallest food establishments in the Worthing area however it is unbeatable!! You little cannot fault this place! We’re in here a good few times a month because we just can’t get enough of it. The ladies in there are always as fabulous as the food. Don’t drive by with out trying (also it is more than worth driving around to find somewhere to park!!)

Huge fan of this place, been going there for years. My only moan today was that the Crackling was soggy and not like it normally is 😞 other than that the meat perfect , staff lovely great place. Just a bad day for the crackling.

Full meal with roasties is a total joy, just so good. Gravy is to die for, can't beat it. If we are ever going in that direction we stop off.

I do a 3 hour round trip to Worthing every year, to pick up a Christmas pudding that I could get posted. Why? So I can pop into the Piggery for one of best sandwiches you’ll ever have. My favourite is the 3 little pigs: pork, sausage, bacon, apple sauce, stuffing, crackling and gravy wrapped up in a vegetarian bap! £6.50!!! Be prepared to queue, it’s not a restaurant with tables and waiters, remember to get some cash out and remember; they only have so much, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. Already looking forward to next year!

Nice food & staff but the owner needs to sort out replacing the plastic bags with paper and the containers with compostable containers. Even Lancing Kerbab has finally moved to compostable containers.

My new favourite place. I've been in Worthing 5 years and this is well worth a short car trip to Broadwater. Fantastic food and staff. I'm trying to keep it down to 3 visits a week but it's proving difficult... Might pop in Saturday and get a roast dinner for the fridge for Sunday 👊🙂

First time here on Monday, second time here on Friday. Absolutely amazing, words cannot express the joy of tasting their pork. Porking hell the roast potatoes are to die for too. I would Suggest you either have been to the gym or go to the gym after to counteract the portion size. Fantastic value for money and an absolute gem in Worthing I’ll be back

If you only eat from one place when in Worthing, eat from here. Not only is the food sublime, but the staff are absolutely incredible. Personally, the full hog roast bap is my favourite, but the breakfast baps are also amazing. Just do it, you will not regret it.

Visited Worthing area for the first time in 2 years and this was a must for lunch!

Splendid place, wonderful staff. I am coeliac and had a bap without bun and even though i asked them to stop putting more and more meat on i struggled to polish it off, cracking for pudding of course.

Just had a "Big Man" bap from The Piggery...OH MY GOD!!! so delicious!!!! 100 out of 10, I will be back!

I wish I could rate you guys higher than a 5. Fantastic quality of food. Delicious and burgers are always overflowing with goods at affordable prices! They even made up a little box for my Doggie so she could join in the mouth watering esperance. Will ALWAYS be a customer to this place!

I visit the piggery regularly - latest 2 visits the portions sizes have dropped significantly - half the amount of pork and 1 piece of crackling - disappointing sadly

I like "The Piggery" in Broadwater. The food is cooked to perfection and the staff are excellent, what's not to like.

The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean premises and screens up to protect staff and customers. The food was amazing, I’m looking forward to going back already!

Hubby has enjoyed food from here before and, on a trip to worthing, we stopped here. First time for me. Super friendly and wow I was not disappointed. Honestly the place to eat! Can't fault the service, food or value for money. Best pork and crackling. No longer bother roasting my own - I get my fix here!

Came across this little shop on the off as I was in the area quoting. I pulled over to grab a coffee from Costa but then there was this amazing smell which led me to The Piggery. Well what can I say, first of the ladies serving were very smiley and happy which makes a change now days. The food was presented in a way that made you want to buy it all but I decided to go with a box - within the box was pork, gammon, stuffing, roast potatoes, gravy and mustard - pretty much a roast at 9.30am but what a great choice. The food tasted as good as it smelt so 10/10 for that and the tea was proper English tea so even better. I would give this place a 9.5/10 and it would score a 10 if they had a side serving of peas but it’s not a deal breaker.

Always great service whenever I visit. There was a small queue outside, but the wait is SO worth it. I haven't tried all the menu, but every time I go, I always go for the meal deal. I highly recommend it.

It’s a small shack that serves excellent roasts meats. Nothing fancy but the meats are generous in portion and tender. You can have various options but I chose the big man. A bap filled with gammon and roast pork. Garnished with crackling and apple sauce. The crackling is very good. Thin, crispy and very porky. I felt stuffed afterwards.

Recently moved to the area, the queue is always a mile long and for good reason! I had the yorkshire meal just over a week ago, and for about 8 pounds I had lunch and didn't need dinner. The pork is exquisite. The stuffing is divine. The crackling is like crack. I planned to treat myself again today only to discover they don't open on sundays. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. My only criticism is the lack of veg. A side of cauliflower or broccoli would be good, honey mustard roasted parsnips/carrots would guarantee myself being a daily customer. But if a place is called "The Piggery" I guess veg isn't really on the cards! Also a heads up, they don't take card but there is a cash machine across the road.

Well worth the wait. Staff were really friendly and obviously had regular clientele. Food was delicious. Would really recommend the Hog Roast Bap. Will certainly be back.
