This little place reminds me of being on holiday abroad.The menu is basic and very well priced the food is good I would recommend to try this little gem as such a lovely welcoming place. Will be going back.

Really good safe place with very friendly people. Inside and outside eating with service. Give them some business they earn it each day. Open early with service through to around 4pm.

Of all the breakfasts we have experienced on our travels this is the best. There’s a very extensive menu and very reasonably priced. One of the few places that knows what a double espresso is meant to look like. Highly recommended and worth travelling for.

Living close by I was hopeful that this place was as good as I'd been led to believe. Sadly this wasn't to be the case, the sausages were tasteless and very pale, the eggs were slightly undercooked and the bacon was very salty. To be honest the hash brown was the tastiest item on the plate. The coffee however was lovely.

Great people, lovely welcome. Fresh hot food at terrific prices. Quite busy & not surprised, visited a few times & close to the beach, 1/2 way point on our walks.

Having read good reports about breakfast at this venue, we made a spontaneous visit whilst in the area. No regrets! Alexa gave us a warm welcome and we pored over a breakfast menu that offered many options. We each settled on the full cooked breakfast with coffee. Service was quick and the breakfast delightful. It was a full plate, and the fried bread was perfect. We'll be back. Reasonable pricing too, great value for money.

Ok. I'm a bit of a 'restaurant' snob and am rarely impressed with cafes. However, this place is an absolute gem! There's an extensive menu and everything is freshly cooked. It is clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and always cheerful! Any changes to the meals are never a problem and everything is beautifully presented. Over the years I think I've tried just about everything, but the breakfasts have always been a firm favourite - be warned though as they're really filling! Today though I had my all-time favourite, the chicken shish. As always, it was freshly cooked, tasty and beautifully presented. If you're ever walking along the seafront, take a detour - you won't be disappointed!

The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly. The food tasted magnificent and was extremely good value, in addition to this they were served quickly and with clean plates and utensils.

Plenty of choices on the menu. We didn't have to wait too long. Very generous portions. Prices are very competitive. Polite friendly staff. Have been visiting here afew times lately.

Everytime I move around the country, I try and find a breakfast as good as the istanbul cafe. I have never been able to find it, and every time I come back to worthing, I have to go here to get my full-english fix. Best breakfast going, builder's breakfast is a highlight.

This is a friendly place to go good food freshly cooked and a good menu breakfasts are always good prices are cheap, staff very friendly, small and cosy cafe with some outside seating. My wife and I go here often, we like it. Well done to all the staff, thank you. 👍👏🏽💕

If you live in Worthing or are visiting I would highly recommend this cafe. The inside is a bit small but the coffees and breakfast options are great. The staff are very welcoming and the prices are very reasonable for the portions you get.

Had a great all day breakfast here last Sunday. The prices are low and the food is good, there's a lot of choice for the breakfasts. Definitely recommend!

Istanbul cafe is a great little place to get a cracking breakfast. Went here recently with 4 chums for a Saturday morning breakfast. The staff were lovely and couldn’t have done more to help. We all had something different, with two vegetarians easily catered for. Every plate was empty at the end. Excellent vfm too. Thoroughly recommend the Istanbul.

My family and me and my partner have been here plenty of times and not once had anything but superb food. The service is great, they are friendly and fun always smiling and nice. The food is excellent and everything about this place is awesome. I don’t write many reviews but I’m a local and this place is simply awesome. P.s the set one menu is unreal!

The food was very delicious. Prices are very reasanoble. They do not accept cash but that is ok. Homemade Turkish desert is worth trying. I checked the small kitchen while paying it was very clean and transperent.

Took my teenage daughter here for brunch today. We sat in the outside seating area, with its comfy cushions. The cafe is situated next to a petrol station, but the outside seating area had a screen along on side that blocks that from view which is a good touch. Prices are very reasonable for Worthing. We had two very large breakfasts for just over a tenner. Food was tasty. Service felt a little slow but then we were already rather hungry when we arrived. The cafe accepts cash only, but there are cash points very nearby. I did try to pay by card (having not seen the large sign stating only cash was accepted 🤦‍♂️), and the staff were perfectly happy for me to dive off to get cash and return.

I have in the past been a regular customer of this cafe, and was always very pleased with the service, and decided, after a gap, to return for my lunch. Though there does seem to be some kind of communication problem, I was able to order my meal (a vegetarian breakfast). The coffee which goes with it was served fairly promptly, then there was a very long wait for my meal to arrive, and no explanation given why. When it arrived it seemed it was cooked in a hasty manner. Not all that good really. For the price I paid, £5.70 it wasn't really good value for money.

We recently went in for lunch, very friendly staff, nice outside area to eat. This was our first visit and wasn't sure what to expect. The staff were very attentive, our meals were cooked to order, arrived quite quickly and was good quality food.

I'm a regular at the Istanbul Cafe in Heene Road in Worthing, with the Istanbul Special Salad and the Istanbul Special Breakfast being my favourites. Always friendly staff, flexible menus, and outside space for sunny days. A little gem.

Having visited Istanbul Cafe many times, I can only say I have always had a warm greeting and delicious food. Have tried many different items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Also the cafe and kitchen are immaculate! This cafe is a real treasure just a block off the seafront.

We had a lovely breakfast here. There was a large choice of set menus, the food was cooked to order and the lady who served us was really welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed it.

It’s always a pleasure popping in for breakfast. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts are superb. If you’re in Worthing, head to the west end and you’ll find the Istanbul on Heene Road. You won’t be disappointed!

A wonderful place to get good Turkish food and a decent Turkish coffee. Try the grilled chicken and rice with a salad and ask for the chilli sauce! Perfect lunch

We went here for lunch. Wow! What a find. I had a istanbul mixed grill and my wife had a halomi burger. Fantastic food and delicious. Very reasonable price. They were busy and we did have to wait but well worth waiting for. 👍👍👍👍.

Really reasonably priced. Really friendly staff, let us change set menu items to suit gluten free needs. Huge portions. Highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast with halloumi... and adding bacon. Because their bacon was proper thick cut rashers. And nice coffee. Definitely going again 😊

Great little place, large menu, cooked to order so be prepared to wait but well worth it. Some outdoor seating, lovely in the sun. Really nice staff, willing to help with any dietary requirements. clean and tidy, gets very busy. A gem, when you find it, don't tell anyone else so you can keep it for yourself :-D
