Lovely cafe , situated a little out of the town centre but good old fashioned service with a chat and a smile. Clean and tidy, not flashy or gimmicky but served good food. It has an extensive menu with most variations of breakfasts available. Bright and cheery inside, the food was served in a timely fashion and it wasn't too noisy. I imagine it has a good base of locals in and out. Recommended . It also gets you to the western end of the town with smaller shops . I have to recommend the Double plus breakfast of course. Make sure you go there hungry and you will not be disappointed, trust me. Fantastic value , really hot too and coffee or tea included. And for those on an eating regime , there is a Slimmers version too.

My wife and I have been here several times, and have tried various items of the menu ranging from a bacon sandwich, full English, S&K pudding etc. All food has arrived at the table hot, tasted wonderful. You do get a full plate and very good value for money. The staff are very good and I do recommend you try this cafe for yourself.

Always a welcome & a smile. Food always fabulous. Not gourmet food. Just traditional UK. From full English breakfast to a salad. Pie veg & mash to roast dinners during winter to warm you up.

The food here is sooooo good. I visited recently with my family for breakfast on a day trip to Worthing. I had the all day breakfast and it was so yummy. The bread was especially good. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this cafe.

Very very friendly service from the owners. I had the double plus breakfast for a tenner, which included hot drink. Food was superb, and left feeling full up and set for the day. Highly recommended, will definitely be returning. Easy parking, pay and diaplay, 80p an hour.

21 years open and still there... it's doing something right. I have only had breakfast and it is great. Don't like tomatoes.. have something else.. don't get that most places. Is it worth your time.. yes really is. Come here for a meal that is fantastic for value.

I loved it. A proper old style cafe. I had a English breakfast. Not there largest. For the price it was dam good and plenty big enough. Friendly atmosphere and seems to have a fair amount of regulars. I will go again.

This little gem of an old style family owned café, is run with an organised passion and pride, generally lost in today's hubbub of fast, fried food eateries, cafes, bars and restaurants. They serve delicious home made and cooked to order breakfasts, gorgeous English standard lunches (e.g.steak and kidney pudding with mash and fresh veges; liver and bacon casserole etc), on warmed plates, with a mug of tea/coffee, choice of condiments and a friendly and efficient ease. The prices are so reasonable it is UNreasonable not to leave a tip.

We found this cafe while on holiday in Worthing. It's clean and the staff are friendly- it's not what I would call fancy but that's not a criticism. We all had variations on the breakfast menu, our server took the trouble to make sure he had all the orders right before sending them through to the kitchen. Food arrived quickly- it was all cooked well, hot and tasty. Just what we needed on a wet and windy day. While there we noticed that there are a lot of regulars who the owners know by name.

This is the best cafe in Worthing! It’s not posh just good well cooked food. The breakfasts and lunches are great. Treat yourself.

If ever I'm in Worthing town I make sure to pop in to Shorely, they do the best fry up in town and the prices are really reasonable. I've been going there for years and it's always spotless and welcoming. The menu is very big and they do much more than fry ups, the main meals are lovely home cooked meals in big portions.It's a really lovely family run cafe and great with kids too.

Really nice food, great service, and good price . Will definitely be coming back soon! Would recommend the breakfast. You get plenty for what you pay.

When it's been a heavy night for whatever reason and you need somewhere to serve you up that perfect breakfast, this is where you come.

A good quality traditional British style cafe serving daily specials, soup, jacket potato, traditional "pensioners favourites". Not dog friendly. Level access, and level to toilets, although they are not otherwise "accessible" (no grab handles etc)

We always eat here when we go to Worthing. The staff are lovely. We especially love their liver and bacon with lovely vegetables followed by rhubarb crumble. Can fully recommend.

Stopped here for breakfast. My husband had a breakfast and I had a Quorn sausage sandwich. The lovely lady there was so accommodating, cooking the bacon and toast exactly how he liked and the bread on my doorstop sausage sandwich was nice and fresh. Good atmosphere. Will be visiting again.

Came here for breakfast as a party of 4 with 2 pushchairs. 2 women behind the counter. Place was empty other than another table who also had a pushchair. I suggested putting a push chair each side of the table as i couldn't see any other way, one lady behind the counter said; "Don't put it that side of the table cause we'll need to greet through there". So i replied with the fact we had 2 pushchairs to which this woman shrugged her shoulders and stared blankly at me. So we left!So because you decided not to help accommodate our children in their pushchairs you lost 4 paying customers. Perhaps we'll come back when customer service improves

Been coming here for years and I have never had a bad meal the staff are always so friendly and welcoming I am now having the slimming World brekkie and it doesn't disappoint

Go there usually once a week for full breakfast, have done for a couple of years. Breakfast and coffee are pukka. Anyone who thinks otherwise, can I suggest you try some cafes in London if you want a good moan. Happy days at shorely scrumptious

After turning 2 pensioners away because they wouldn't spend more than £5 for 2 teas and a bacon sandwich, when their was available seating. I can't help but feel disgusted by this attitude. I, nor any of our extended family will be returning here again in the future.

I had forgotten my lunch so thought I would have a quick google and see what was around close to where I was working, Shorely Scrumptious pop up. So phone, ordered a sandwich to collect, well it was lovely. Thank you very much 😋

Tried so many times to find a place worth going for our lunch until we came across Shorely Scrumptious. A friend recommended this to us saying it wouldn’t let us down and it didn’t. The food was cooked with passion and we can’t wait to return.

Looking for a bite to eat in Worthing, simply googled "Good places for breakfast" and this was No 1 on the list. It's better than our favourite place in Lancing, a hidden gem that you would probably walk past if you didn't know it was there. Well worth a try.

Fancied a all day breakfast! On a day out from London area . It was very hot and tasted delicious . The fried bread was a bloomer slice not a common or garden white loaf, sausage was tasty,not so sure about the beans, I much prefer Heinz but didn't think that they were but could be wrong, had a lovely cuppa to go with it. It is a small cafe so I did feel a little cramped. The staff were friendly and the food was freshly cooked. They have a good menu and all the meals I saw looked good. Not a easy cafe to find. I used map on trip advisor. It's further away from pier than I thought it was. Looked very popular with the locals, a good sign of any cafe.the toilets were good and clean, no idea how often the towel was changed although it seemed clean. So used to noisy air blowers!
