This is a traditional pub in a residential area but they also have a rear dining room with its own bar, which was perfect for our Club event with 25 diners. The food was excellent and Amy did a first class job on service.

Wonderful for lunchtime. Staff helpful, calm and attentive (but not in your face!) Very clean and a great ambiance. Will definitely return.

Apparently the coffee was good. I usually have issues with the word "hot" in hot chocolate but today the problem was "chocolate ". This was watery milky drink with a hint of chocolate only. I'm sure we have had much better here previously.

This was our second themed tea and we upgraded, it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, getting a lovely exclusive table, the vip was well worth it I had a super mock tail with edible flowers it was fabulous and a wonderful themed sweet treat. Also you could request to have a table before or after, in the piano room, which we did and had a Drama Queen cocktail omg it was something else! I just loved it! Food exceptionally delicious I’m vegetarian and it was so nice, credit to the place to match the theme with the food. Cakes were amazing. Service and surroundings excellent. We really enjoyed this limited time diamond of the season speciality tea and celebrating our birthdays here!

Have been staying locally and had this pub recommended to us so went for Sunday lunch. All the food was cooked fresh and we had the lamb and chicken which were excellent. Both were large portions but still managed to squeeze in dessert luckily having passed on starters. All served with local beers and gins only wish we were staying for longer and could visit next Sunday. Staff also very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place if in the area.

Frankie is a friendly guy who knows his products well. The food is excellent and reasonably priced I had the chilli prawns which were sumptuous. Get there before the season ends, you won’t taste better.

Outstanding food and service. My wife and I went for the 7 course lunch menu, every single aspect was beautifully crafted and created. The waiter was excellent at explaining every ingredient on the plate, how it was cooked and often where it had come from. The sommelier was fantastic also, our first choice of wine was no longer in stock, so he recommended another which was delicious. We were the only people in the restaurant due to the rugby, but it was truly a brilliant experience and we cant wait to return. The chef came to speak with us, and was lovely - but our feedback was that the food and experience was incredible!

Went for lunch as a couple today never been before the food is outstanding.If you want to spoil someone this is the place to go. The service was brilliant from the time we stepped in the door till we left

With a second attempt on the day - we managed to get a table for 2. First time we called half an hour before we wanted to try this restaurant, with no surprise now it was all fully booked. Half year later we called early morning and there was a free table. Heard rumours how good and how tasty the food is at Cherry Tree. And I can’t recommend this places enough. The service was amazing - you walk in a little waiting area, they offer you a drink then introduce you to the menu and then you order. Once your drink is finished they take you to your table and food comes quite quickly. They come and check if you’re happy with everything and you don’t have to wait between courses, pretty much as soon as you are finished they come and offer you your next meal. We took our time and enjoyed every second of it and we spent nearly 2 hours in this lovely restaurant. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Definitely coming back! Thank you team Cherry Tree 🙏

Splendid! Absolutely exquisite food, staff are amazing and ambiance was welcoming. This was a gift for our 50th wedding anniversary which we will cherish!
