I visited on Sunday 27 October 2024 for a meal with a friend and her dogs. The venue is dog friendly. There is a big menu with lots of choice including numerous vegetarian and vegan items, and the prices are very reasonable. Recommended.

The food there was really good, however it is very expensive, £8 for ONE milkshake! However, the milkshake was easily the best drink I've ever had. The experience there was really good, and the restaraunt was well decorated with halloween decorations such as skeletons. It had very kind workers as well! I would recommend for you to go there for tea, because it is a very good place and not very busy either(well when we went there). I would recommend it for people who love food like chips, burgers and milkshakes(american food). Overall, it was a very fun time but it was expensive.

Very expensive, very small portions and the staff were not very smiley and welcoming. Food was ok. I call these types of chippy's 'tourist chippy's' £6 quid for a very small portion of chips, peas and gravy. The portion was so small that it was below the height of the tray and what makes it worse is the server put the peas on top of the gravy.

We have just spent 4 nights in Paignton and ate at Henry's each evening. Food and drink delicious, staff and locals friendly and welcoming. Also not far from our accommodation. Centrally located close to the railway station the seafront, we strongly recommend tnis place.

We stayed here twice once in Sept and again in Oct. Great location - our bedrooms overlooed the river Tamar. The room was large with walk in shower. We had breakfast & dinner - food was excellent. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Parking wasn't a problem with on & off road parking available. We would stay there again if we catch the ferry from Plymouth again.

We went with a couple of friends. We have not been to Butlers for some time. Was always good value for money, now a step up has been made. We went for lunch on Saturday and all ate very well. Compliments to the kitchen. Front of house service was seamless and professional, a great reflection of the management.

Visited for steak night, beer nice, wine very nice, staff were very good and all food was very good. Only problem was for the price the portions have gone quite small, parmo was very nice but not very big and only a half portion of chips and the salad was quite sad. Steaks good as was everything else, lovely onion rings

Spent an excellent summers day lunch with wife Glenys and friends Trevor and Carol. Apart from trvor getting lost due to road work closures. This was in July of this year so hopefully they are finished but this is broken Britain so who knows. When you do find it the venue is lovely. An old building that has been well look after and obviously had a few bob spent oin it. The menu was excellent and the service quite relaxed but still professional. Plenty of interesting items on the menu. If I had to sum up the whole experience it would be one word-relaxing. In a busy world that what we need. Check it out and enjoy.
