Amazing food excellent service would recommend this to anyone. This was Sunday dinner excellent value for money had a brilliant mother's day and went there 2 weeks ago and have eaten there every Sunday and will continue to do so 😀

Went for a nice meal with my partner but when we arrived it was freezing everywhere in the pub , we then ordered to be told no lamb so ordered something else for the waitress to co come back and say they have actually found some lamb , so I was looking forward to the lamb because its my favourite meat , we had starters which the prawn cocktail came with no sauce and no butter for the bread , the main courses came out and I'm afraid to say it was absolutely shocking and the portions was definitely not worth the money we spent

Lovely wetherspoons pub situated in Crook often pop in for something to eat with a drink food is not high end, put the food what is served to us always very nice and presented well.

I love this pub. I’ve been coming here for years and wouldn’t wish to replace it with any other location. The staff here are the best a local pub could ask for. Stan, Edie, Dan, Darren, Cigne and the whole team are amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better service and a better vibe! If you haven’t been here before please attend!

Not impressed. Poor options, small portions and heavy price. Used this place a lot with the old owners. Less inclined to now unless they improve.

The Wherry hotel is a beautiful restaurant and hotel. The views from the hotel are stunning a lovely place for a cold pint in the sun or having meal as the sunsets 😍

Lovely place to be and in general staff are nice. However one particular staff was so rude and condescending. Funny part was that he started being nice after I spoke back to him in the same tone he used.

THERE WERE 4 TABLES OCCUPIED IN THE RESTUARANT... WE ARRIVED AT 1.30 AND LEFT AT 4.00 wasted our bank holiday! JUST DO NOT ENTER... It is so deceiving: from the outside with the benches it looks like a nice cottage BUT... as soon as you enter there are two rooms... you have to help yourself to a menu and a table. Then we ordered 4 meals WHICH DID NOT COME WITH FRIES OR CHIPS, then we waited 1hr 45mins for the food OMG, THEY FORGOT so they took anougther 30min until they finally arrived. It was grousome; no chicken wings which is the main reason I ordered food, apparently it was freshly home made IT WAS FROZON FOOD FROM THE SUPERMARKET... IT WAS... AND THERE ISN'T ANY BACK CHAT ABOUT IT BEING FRESH. It was BABY SIZE, YOU COULDNT GET SCAMMED THAT MUCH FOR SUCH A SMALL PORTION NO REFUNDS FOR ANY THING

Always come here really good food . We had takeaway fish and chips and wasn’t impressed. The chips were burnt looked like scraps

Popped in for lunch, and we all enjoyed what we had, I had the open prawn sandwich and my daughter had fries topped with truffle mayonnaise. Hubby had a crispy open chicken sandwich

Really enjoyed our meal yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our food was tasty and hot, and the food we saw coming out to other customers looked really good. The staff were very friendly and efficient even though one of them was still training. The pub in general felt clean and I must say much cleaner than when it was a Green King pub. We will definitely return.
