Christmas meal for 13 of us……absolutely fabulous night! The food was amazing - it arrived hot and was very tasty, the portions were big and every course was of a high standard! The pub had a live band, there was dancing and singing and a whole lot of fun ! Thank you White Hart! Thoroughly recommend the venue for a Christmas party!

The pub is so welcoming now. Good service, immaculately clean and very nice lager. We didn't know there was an offer on carlsberg when we called in but stayed much longer than planned as we really enjoyed our visit. We'll definitely be back. Well done to the new management.

We were all so impressed with the roast dinner, it had everything a proper roast dinner should have & the roast potatoes were perfect. Loved the huge jug of gravy too. The service was very friendly & efficient & I would highly recommend The White Hart.

Had a fabulous Sunday roast as I have many times before. Delicious meat with loads of veg a really full plate. Feels like best in Wimborne and beautiful meals during the week as well. You should give it a try.

Super friendly pub. We came and played last Saturday and they looked after the whole band really well. Lovely staff and friendly clientele as well. Recommend 100% I cant rate the food as I didn't have any, but I've rated the other bits.

Good welcome, we came for dinner. We chose our dishes but three times we had to give up because it was not available. So, we preferred to change locations. The boss offered us the aperitif we had had. Really very correct.

Lovely friendly family pub, we decided to have roast dinners. I had med lamb loads of melt in your mouth meat. Cauliflower cheese mashed and roast potatoes. Lots of vegetables all freshly cooked. Boyfriend had small gammon lovely meals, ended up taking some vegetables home. Great price for meals and you lovely gravy boat. Best roast in wimborne and also have a menu for different meals. Well worth a visit . Great service

Landlord CJ had just closed the kitchen when I walked into his premises enquiring if they were serving food. He made me feel most welcome & made me an amazing meal I had Lasagne with Green beans & Garlic bread Plus a Roast Beef Sandwich soaked in Dripping to takeaway Thanks to CJ& his Team 👍

Authentic pub with very friendly staff, top food and huge portions. We actually wanted to try the English Sunday Roast. After I found out that these are only available on Sundays (…) we were recommended a typical English dish with plum compote. The pictures speak for themselves. Absolute recommendation to eat here!!! Don't miss this.

Had a lovely Sunday roast sat in the beer garden. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. Very big portions and very good selection of drinks. CJ and Anne- Marie were super friendly! . Highly recommend! Will be coming back.

Great venue in the middle of town if you’re visiting follow the sat nav up the pedestrian road to the pub carpark outside the pub or there is a pay and display behind …. The owner and staff here are great! really accommodating and friendly, food was lovely tasty, well presented and definitely above average portion sizes (see pics) highly recommend a visit if your in town. The pub has a little basket ball game for the kids, pool table and dart board. If it’s nice outside they have a really nice beer garden.

Attended a birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The buffet catered for all tastes. The live music was excellent and the singer got everyone dancing. Highly recommend & would definitely visit again.

This warm and welcoming pub in the lovely town of Wimbourne helped us arrange a surprise family gathering for our Uncle’s 80th birthday. Around 25 of us travelled down from Kent & Essex and from start to finish it was brilliant, the owner and staff were so accommodating, allowing us to put up some decorations, organizing a buffet for us which was delicious, live music (she was fantastic by the way!) and we also got to see England get through to the semi’s on a big screen!! A really lovely pub with a great atmosphere, great staff who were fun and friendly, huge thanks to CJ and the team for making our special family gathering for our dear uncle who lives locally such a truly memorable night!

Quiz night on a Wednesday is a good laugh. John is hilarious and the staff are all really friendly.

I used to frequent the white hart regularly around this time last year, and haven’t visited since October. I visited for the first time with the new management and unfortunately was disappointed, there was little to no atmosphere and the beers weren’t quite up to scratch. The menu was small and disappointing.This time last year the white hart was a busy and vibrant pub, with a polite young manageress and attentive staff , I can’t help but feel the white hart is missing that bright energy. Such a shame the white hart isn’t what it used to be.

Went as a family group for Sunday lunch, staff very attentive and food excellent Chef came out of the kitchen and asked how food was Good local beer too

Only came in for one drink...ended up stopping for lunch. Shame we had to move on, we will be back when back in the area.

Since CJ and his team have taken over I’ve seen the pub really turn around. Georgia behind the bar always has a huge smile on her face and possesses excellent hospitality skills. It’s always a wonderful friendly atmosphere inside the pub with excellent facilities. The food is excellent too. Highly recommend to all ⭐️⭐️

It's a shame that what was once the best pub in Wimborne has fallen so low. I have visited a few times in the last month with the hope that the new management were bringing it back to the forefront of drinking establishment in the town. The beer was off on the first occasion, the second took so long to be served I went to another pub and the third time refused due to attire I had worn the first 2 occasions. I have frequented this pub for 30 years and now I will never cross the threshold again. Such a shame.

The best Sunday lunch in Wimborne, Dad and I have been a few times now. With great food and the team are so welcoming and care that we had a lovely time. The atmosphere is relaxed and I highly recommend the Hart.

We made this the focal point for the weekend to meet up with family and friends, could not have choosing a better place, the manager Chris (CJ) made us all very welcome and his staff did the same and were very friendly, so the atmosphere was great. The food, cooked by Ann-Marie was beautiful, there was a good range of ales. Plus the entertainment on the Saturday night, a young lady folk singer was good.

Used The White Hart Pub as a meeting place for family and friends for the weekend. The manager Chris, and his staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, good chose of beers. Making arrangements to return in June for the music festival.

Had a get together with friends and we met up in the White Heart in Wimborne. Good pub with a decent pint of guiness and friendly staff. Food was good and the evening entertainment was a brilliant solo female singer. Watch your head if your over 6ft. Will plan to visit again when in the area.

Visited some friends and popped in for food and drink. The food was really nice and loved the selection of drinks. The staff were brill, had a good laugh with them and the owner. Highly recommend, will be back!

Found this cosy little pub while exploring Wimborne with the family and dog. On a Sunday, when we visited, they were only serving roast, with a choice of beef or pork, but that suited us. Not a carvery, but brought to table plated up. The roast was delicious, large with good variety of well cooked veg which had a real home-cooked taste. It was also reasonably priced. Atmosphere was friendly, which was fortunate as the restaurant was snug, just shy of being cramped. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Absolutely lovely Sunday lunch... we had the Roast pork which came with an assortment of vegetables... very tasty cauliflower cheese and everything was cooked perfectly... followed by fruit crumble and custard... Great service, everything that you want on a Sunday... thank you :)

The food was amazing home cooked and piping hot what more could you want for the family. The staff are brilliant always make you feel welcome and always leave with a full belly and smiles all round. Highly recommended for all great value for money too.

Sat having a Sunday Pint 🍺and two of the biggest Sunday Roast dinners filled by a jug of gravy and Yorkshire puddings followed, I had to try one. Ordered the Roast Beef, generous portions, the plate was full of freshly cooked piping hot delicious food Lots of beef, Carrots, cabbage, parsnips, roast potatoes, mash, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and lots of gravy Where can you get a full plate of tasty food for £12.95? We needed a venue for our son’s life celebration after his funeral. CJ and all the staff at the white heart have been amazing. We ranted one side of the pub for the celebration and payed for a cold buffet. I can only say the food was delicious well planned and laid out CJ and his staff did all the work and with only limited information as we really didn’t know numbers on who would be coming to our sons funeral. But on our meeting to arrange the celebration CJ put our minds at rest at a very difficult time and the family will be for ever grateful for his thoughtfulness and hard work. CJ hosted the celebration of my son’s life after his funeral. He saw what a mess I was and sorted everything out for us. The food was amazing, the staff were wonderful and so respectful. A very welcoming atmosphere in a very olde worlde pub. The drinks are cold and the bar service friendly. We ate off their lunch menu and the food was brilliant. My husband who is an chef said it was the best homemade burger he'd had.... A very dog friendly pub

We had a lovely Sunday lunch with beautifully cooked beef for me and homemade a vegetation tart for my Dad. The family atmosphere, friendly team, home cooked food and so much great thoughtful improvements. We are going to be back soon.

Our first time in this pub and we weren’t disappointed. Had a lovely Sunday roast which was clearly freshly cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning.

Pleased to see this pub back in business. A real Wimborne institution but has suffered a bit over the years. Was always the place to go and meet a diverse and friendly crowd. Locals and visitors who want a chat in the bar on the right (from the front entrance) and families/ those who want a bit of private space use the door on the left. Brilliant pub garden, used heavily in summer. Hopefully the new management will keep a lid on any undesirable elements and bring back a decent menu and keep this traditional happy place alive for another generation.

Very quiet pub with a small back room with an old school pool table.....very old school table😂 prices aren't too bad but not the best for how small the pub and choice of drinks are.

Came in for dinner, never been here before what a WOW experience!! The went staff went above and beyond but I would especially like to thank Ella for making our night so memorable. She was welcoming from the start and anything we asked was never a problem. What an asset she is. Will definitely be coming back.

Met up with family and had a great time! We were served by Christian and also Ella, and we couldn't have asked for more, friendly, helpful and generally nice people. It was very busy when we arrived but we were greeted with a smile and served quickly. It will be a while before we are that way again but can't wait to get back there to say hi to our new friends!! :)

Went here with friends, the pub looked lovely from the outside, but once inside we did not feel particularly welcome, no eye contact from the bar person, felt like they only served us because they had to, the atmosphere was a bit tense. Have tried a few pubs in Wimborne, most are relaxed and friendly this one was not, perhaps we caught it on a bad night, but my friends said they wouldn’t go back there.

We have been visiting the white hart for a while now, the food and service has been amazing, the two young girls on the sundays serving lunch are so sweet, the young lady with the red hair (the manager i think) is amazing, she has told me her name in the past but i prefer not to say any names without permission, over the past few weeks im sorry to say things have been going down hill, this is not down to the staff i have previously said but there are two new members of staff a young lad who served us last night very blunt and rude he was speaking to us as if he was one of those street thugs you see on tv, made us a little uncomfortable, there was also a young girl behind the bar who is obviously very inexperienced and in my opinion not suited to this job, we are normally made to feel very welcome in this pub but when we have be in when these two are working it is the total opposite, i do apologise to the nice staff in this pub be we will not be spending our money in the white hart if these two are working as we like to enjoy are meal and drinks afterwards, last night we were given plastic cups and told to take our drinks with us, normally we are given time to drink are fresh drinks, upon leaving the young lad on the door was getting a lot of abuse from other customers, he had no idea why customers had been asked to leave early... Also what is the eyesore getting built in the back? Is the white hart going to loose the beautiful sunshine garden as well?

I have left a review in the past for this pub and it was all positive but unfortunately this one is totally the opposite, firstly I would like to apologise to the young lady Chloe who I met the first few meals and nights out in the pub, if you are still there please it would be nice to have you serving us again . Unfortunately the last couple of times we have come in for dinner last night being the worst, upon arrival we did not receive the nice warm welcome we normally get, it was a cold I can't be bothered attitude from a young inexperienced girl behind the bar, once we sat at our table it only got worse we ordered our food (which was amazing by the way) our server was not the best should I say! He was a rude straight forward not in a good way young lad who spoke to us like he was some sort of gangster wanna be! After the meal we had a few more drinks and the bell was rang but for some reason almost immediately we were offered plastic glasses "to take our drinks with us!" What was that about??? No drink up time like anywhere else, we choose to leave the drinks and go somewhere else, we obviously was not the only unhappy customers as the door staff on our way out were getting a hard time from other customers, they looked very confused as to what was going on. From now on when we come in if it is the same staff there we will go elsewhere so we enjoy the night. Its such a shame these members of staff make the pub look bad. Sorry to the rest of the staff you are not included in this rant, you are all lovely!

While visiting the town we decided to have lunch at the White Hart. The pub garden was lovely, the food was amazing and the service by Chloe was second to none. She couldn't have been more accommodating for our dietary needs and was extremely helpful and polite. We will definately return the next time we visit Wimbourne.

Hadn’t been to the white hart for a while and decided to pop down for dinner last minute. Never had a bad experience and this visit was no different - it was a weekday so a quieter atmosphere than at the weekend but really pleased with the food and service

Had a night out with friends, stopped in to the white hart for food and a couple of drinks, the food was prompt and cooked well, the service was second to none, spoke to Chloe behind the bar I think she was the manager or supervisor, we were made to feel so welcome we ended up staying for the rest of the evening and had a good laugh with the staff and locals, I would recommend this place as a place to go if you want tobrelax and have a good evening, thank you to all the staff for making a good day into a great day A+++++++++

Terrible value for money. Had the Lasagne and Garlic bread for lunch. £9.95 per person. NEVER EVER have we received such a small meal. Thought maybe they gave us the kids meal size, but actually it wouldn't even have been enough for the average childs...

Had an amazing Friday evening here, great music and great people. The staff are brilliant and so accommodating, food was great, ideal pub grub, will definitely be visit regularly.
