this place is ABSOLUTELY delicious! my BF and I will go here for a special breakfast every once in a while and we are always so pleased with the extremely high quality vs. reasonable price. we have agreed that the banana foster french toast may be the best in Portland ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ I call in and get the harvest breakfast burrito to go all the time -- I'm allergic to quinoa (weird, I know) and they are so accommodating in switching it up for me, which I'm so grateful for. my man gets the regular breakfast burrito and it's INCREDIBLE. they're huge! the sauce is hellishly good. my only gripe is that I wish someone would plant some trees next to the bus stop on CC so that the restaurant looks as inviting from the drab intersection (not even their fault). at least the parking lot is cute! feels like a different world compared to the other side. I lied, my other gripe is that it isn't open every day!!! don't worry y'all I get why on the macro but ON THE MICRO ༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ

Fairly expensive for very average food, all well presented but flavours very bland, suspect a lot of frozen things been used in dishes such as starters, service is dreadful, restaurant very quiet around 10 tables in at the time with a good 4-5 staff serving, was left by the door for a good 5 mins, then was sat down and left with just water for around 10mins, ordered a bottle of wine so nothing fancy that needed to be made, just two glasses and a bottle to get, plates from starters taken as mains arrived, some plates left and had to be put on next table, whilst we ate mains, never asked if we wanted anymore drinks, bill brought over to say time to leave now as we was last of two couples in, we'd only been in an hour, shouldn't take tables at 9pm if your kicking out by 10pm, have the cheek to charge a service charge of £16 on a £130 meal, this wasn't paid as service is some of the worst iv had at this kind of price mark. Wouldn't return.

I see that some here are complaining about courier services or that their papanasu was returned in the net and arrived home with sauce spread, but also those who are watching: the restaurant is very good, with very good food and honestly at super convenient prices and in as for the papanas, I honestly haven't eaten better ones in other restaurants than ours. As for the staff, well, the lady there is a very polite sweetie and she'll keep an eye on you if you need anything! Don't be angry anymore, you forgot me like some people wrote on a candle...

Today I purchased 6 cheese straws from Cooplands in Driffield. These cheese straws were then carried home safely in amongst the rest of my shopping from various other shops this morning. When it came time for my sister to eat these cheese straws, she put 3 on her plate. She ate two of the 3 with no problem and then when she got to the third cheese straw she took two bites and let out a very loud “OW!” as she had bitten into something hard whilst chewing her cheese straw. She proceeded to spit out the mouthful of cheese straw she was chewing and looking at the mouthful on her plate to see if there was anything there. She gasped and said “Oh my god thats a stone” I said “don't be ridiculous theres no way” and then she picked it out of the chewed up mouthful of cheese straw and held out her hand and said “look A STONE” I couldn't believe my eyes , she was right it was a stone which she had bitten into whilst trying to enjoy her last cheese straw. Me and my sister, Jess, are appalled, horrified and disgusted that this has slipped past the quality checks. This stone could have seriously injured her teeth so thank god she realised and spat it out. This unfortunately puts an end to us purchasing baked goods at our local Cooplands. My sister is to quote her words “too traumatised to eat anything from Cooplands again”. I hope this gets picked up and reflected on and that it doesn’t happen to any other Cooplands customers. Many thanks.

The manager, the waiter and the joker First time going, went with a friend of mine Food was great and the restaurant wasn't too busy either The manager ensured we were seen to by the waiters throughout, one particular waiter had very good service, friendly and smiling Then there was the joker, some waiter with white/grey hair - kept making inappropriate and bad jokes, he even said to us that he's been told off by the manager for joking too much but he can't help himself Note to management - either fire him for bringing down your restaurant's reputation or give him a final warning, he is doing no good for your amazing restaurant

Just returned from this little gem. Amazing staff sat outside as we had a dog with us. A fabulous lovely young lad greeted us said he would put the heaters on and fetched my dog some fresh water. We all had the delicious fish and chips was stunning and will be returning in march. Thank you so much for an enjoyable lunch x

NEVER ORDER THROUGH UBER! I ordered and they delivered to the wrong address and took picture of having delivered to the wrong address and had the audacity to not give me a refund. I found this absolutely disgusting when you’ve a disabled child to feed.

After last years disastrous meal out on Christmas Day (not here I must stress - it was at a different restaurant), I was dubious about eating out again on this special day. I needn’t have worried … what an absolutely fabulous meal the four of us had. Very, very, very, generous portions, all freshly cooked and served hot. The yorkshire puds were amazing and the turkey was cooked to perfection. Prosecco on arrival, starters, , puds and cheeseboard and port - again, fab. Attentive service. Lovely ambiance. Couldn’t fault a thing. I would definitely book again for Christmas Day. Thank you to all the team for giving up your Christmas Day and for making it a meal to remember.
