This is the second time we have stayed here this year. We stayed in Butchers room which is just lovely. The bed is very comfortable & the pillows are amazing. We dined in the restaurant both times & the choice & quality of the food is great. Breakfast was very good, the offer continental as well as a fresh cooked selection. The bar area is nice with an open fire & cosy sofas. Plenty of parking. I can’t say enough good about this place. Well worth a visit if you like a relaxing break.

A Truly Disastrous Dining Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I have traveled extensively across the world, dining in numerous countries and I can confidently say that my experience today at Hush Restaurant in Holborn was the worst I’ve ever had. We arrived with two separate groups, my group of six and my staff in a group of three, each with separate reservations. To our shock, we were told that one of our tables could not be accommodated because they had given it away to two walk-in parties. Despite our reservations, they prioritised walk-ins over us, leaving my staff stranded with no table. Once seated, the nightmare continued. The food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, with no communication from the staff to explain the delays. When we inquired, we were simply told, “let me check,” and we were left in the dark for the rest of the meal. The service throughout was abysmal, slow, inattentive and completely unprofessional. When we finally managed to speak with the manager, we were met with excuses about being short staffed and having someone call in sick. To add insult to injury, when we expressed our dissatisfaction at the end of our meal, the manager’s response was, “What do you expect me to do? I’m trying my best. Write to HR if you have a problem.” This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering dining at Hush in Holborn to reconsider. There are countless other restaurants in London that value their customers and provide the service you deserve this is not one of them. Avoid this place at all costs.

I ordered a delivery,I have used this kebab place as a local for years,my order came without any doner bread,the meat was not it's usual standard and seemed rushed,I phoned just to say they made a mistake,forgetting the bread,the person who answered was a new worker I think,said wait a minute,so I waited 3 min while he served someone else,no politeness,made me more angry as I would have took an apology,and I was the first customer who he dealt with,anyway, I won't use the takeaway again,maybe new staff with an attitude.

Ordered food sat around for 40 minutes ... everyone around us got fed... went to explain.. promised a quick takeaway before telling us there was no chicken left.. tripped over the mop as there was stuff chucked everywhere... then took 10 min to get a refund.. a hour I was there.. no food and shocking rude service... never again

Twice I've ordered via the app for delivery, twice they've failed to give my full order to the delivery driver. When I ring up to query, I'm given the company line that they can only refund the missing items and they refuse to deliver the missing items. Doesn't help me when I have hungry kids at home. Completely useless people working there
