I visited twice for lunch on a recent trip. Excellent red curry and also enjoyed a pad thai. You can watch your order being cooked while you sup a beer. The place is very good value for money, and they do a lunch deal for around £3! (Not sure of exact prices as I went a few weeks ago, but cheap.) There is a good variety of dishes on the menu and a range of beers and soft drinks.
The most expensive items on the menu are only around £6. Quality is high and the women who run it are very friendly and pleasant. What a find!
Had a family trip to the Hop for their roast dinner. Absolutely gorgeous food, as always. We had roast lamb, beef and pork and all were amazing. Also sampled some puds, toffee sponge pudding and lemon tart was also just as good. A+ You’ve definitely got to try eating here. Book to ensure a table on Sunday
If you are looking for a great cup of coffee in Cott well look no further this is it. Everything about the experience is good, cup, not neutral which have a massive flat handle to to rest your thumb on, great latte art, finally the coffee tasted brilliant. Now I know taste is subjective but I din't think you will be disappointed.
5 star from me.
Visited as a family of 7 for my husband’s birthday. Meal was very nice all be it a bit expensive and although the pub is very nice we were a little disappointed to be put in the bar area with a table just about big enough for 6 people and a small round table dumped on the end.
However, all of this i could except but my real grip was that at the end of the meal i was given an itemized bill so i paid by card and handed the man £10 tip as a sign said they prefer cash tips.
Later when i looked at the itemised bill we had asked for i noticed that a 10% service charge had been added without my knowledge.
I won’t complain as they obviously need the money more than i do but i will not be visiting again or suggesting to my friends
Delicious ice cream and coffee in an idyllic setting. A welcome sit down in the sunshine. Served by a charming lady who was very friendly and welcoming.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch in this charming tea room served by friendly & smiley staff. Best pot of tea I’ve had in a cafe for years - served in pretty china. We’ll definitely return when passing again.
I had the best quiche ever last week (Bacon & Blue cheese) now I'm not really a quiche fan but this was amazing so light and tasty and homemade by Nikki there was also a spare piece so I had another bit the next day too!
Everything that Nikki makes is homemade and is super tasty and freshly made its the best coffee shop ever, it is definately worth a visit.
