Great spot for a quick casual lunch in Romford! Friend and I ordered the garlic parmesan and jerk chicken sauce nuggets and both were a huge hit for the two of us! Really recommend.
What a hidden gem. We had been in Hull for the theatre and stumbled this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, and plentiful. We will be coming back next time in Hull. It does look a bit dated inside but is exceptionally clean, so don’t let the looks put you off
“Absolutely love The Innings! The staff are so friendly, helpful, and always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Huge shoutout to Theresa and Mark for creating such a fantastic atmosphere—it really makes all the difference! I hire the function room for my Clubbercise class every week, and it’s always a brilliant experience. The space is perfect, the facilities are great, and the team is super supportive. Can’t recommend this place enough!”
Thanks for having me every week! ❤️❤️
Fabulous lunch yet again. Every single dish is made fresh so your meal may take a little longer but well worth the wait. When in the city this will always be my choice for breakfast or lunch! Thank you .
What a find !! Looking for somewhere to eat on our way back to our campsite and come across this of the beaten track amazing pizza restaurant. So unusual somehow creating a beach side experience in the middle of an industrial site. Pizza first class best we’ve eaten in a long time and a proper affogato.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Super central wood burner keeping everyone warm. A place full of character and yet so simple.
We will definitely return when we are next down in Cornwall
A perfect date night for my wife & I! The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff & delicious food made our evening truly special. I had the lamb, which was cooked beautifully & my wife’s risotto was creamy & flavorful. The drinks menu was impressive, with great cocktail options. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We felt welcome throughout the evening. We’ll definitely be back for another date night!!
While I do agree with all the wonderful comments regarding the food, service and general friendliness I would strongly advise anybody who is getting sick to death of cyclists taking over a place to steer well clear.
Sadly the cafe has been ruined by hoards of them who are not just contents with taking over the inside by moving tables about and shouting at each (other thinking they still have helmets on) but now lean their bikes up against the new Flower boxes, windows and outside tables making it impossible to sit anywhere.
I do understand the financial considerations of this particular type business but as other cafes have now discovered this could be at the detriment of regular customers who will of course spread the word to others.
Really sad that we had to walk away yet again today as we simply could not get to a seat either inside or out because of them so will not be returning.
We had afternoon tea arranged on our narrow boat to celebrate a birthday treat. The food was of excellent quality, beautifully presented with everything for tea making and a superb selection of sandwiches and cakes, the best we have experienced anywhere. One of our party needed gluten free selection and this was also done very well. Congratulations to the caterers, you did a splendid job.
Where to start....
There were 6 of us for lunch and none of us had been before, even though we all live and work in Bury. The veggie one had the vegan brunch which she really enjoyed and was pleasantly surprised with the cookie dough dessert. Two of us had Eggs Benny...delicious and the other 3 had different sandwiches which they all enjoyed. We all thought the price and value for money was outstanding and we are already planning our next visit. I, personally, would like to try the evening menu sometime.
The only down side is that it doesn't open more lunch times.
"The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the pizza. The atmosphere was delightful and everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommendđź‘Ś
We came across this lovely cafe. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a great mug of tea, much to my husband’s delight. You can not beat a mug. Teapots are available.
Drinks and snacks were delicious and service friendly. We will be back when we are next visiting York x
