Beautiful decor, really friendly welcome with outstanding service. Menus varied for all tastes. The haddock roll was a little dry and needed an extra woosh for flavour but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed the good quality of food and produce. Would definitely return

We have eaten at the plough several times. Always had an excellent meal. The roast beef is so good. I would highly recommend Sunday lunch at the plough. The service is also great. So lucky it’s my local pub too.

Four of us went fir Sunday lunch ....lovely place n atmosphere first rate food ...However we placed our order for starters and main meals good 25 mins wait for starters at least which is acceptable as was busy ...but then well over an hour for main coures to arrive only once did someone come and say sorry for your wait but no explanation as to why as most people had been served by then so wasn't as busy. I had to ask 3 times to place dessert order which did come in 15 mins but..Seems to need better organisation and management to keep customers happy and place running as it should...seem to hear chef ringing bell from kitchen staff not always quick to react sounded bit hyrate atmosphere in kitchen..customers will not return if this is how things are run such a pity as place and food was lovely.

We were exploring the area and happened upon this well presented Pub/restaurant. It is also beautifully presented and exceptionally clean inside,we were warmly welcomed by staff and regulars. Frankie (our waiter throughout)showed us to our table and the service he bestowed upon us was impeccable, warm, professional and helpful. The food was incredible, the home made soup was delicious, everything had been freshly prepared,it was all really well presented and cooked to perfection. Our compliments to Frankie and The Chef as Arnie said "I'll be back"

Tried this new restaurant with friends for the first time and it couldn't have been better! We skipped starters and two had the steak and ale pie which they said was melt in the mouth tender with a good jug of extra gravy, my husband had the burger on the special board, which he enjoyed and I had the haddock on the special board which had spinach on a base of crushed potatoes on a light and lovely cheese sauce. A really lovely meal. All the desserts are homemade with a wide choice, and also went down well. The staff were friendly without being overbearing and the decor and atmosphere are great. We all highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Happened to stumble upon this small coffee shop whilst visiting Mablethorpe with my Daughter. I was drawn in due to the sign that also stated sensory room available, so had a good feeling we would be welcome. From the cheery welcome and the perfect atmosphere for my Daughter who is autistic, we were at ease straightaway. The was freshly cooked, good sized servings and most importantly ... yummy. My Daughter ieven nsisted we go back the following day. For anyone with kids on the spectrum or not.. you can feel at ease knowing you are in a safe place and everyone understands. Mablethorpe is a better place for this cafe. Thank you

Took my parents for Sunday lunch. It was busy. Staff were friendly and polite. The menu is extensive and the roasts are not just your standard meat and veg. I had the chicken breast wrapped in pancetta with apricot stuffing. The chicken was tender and moist. The stuffing was lovely but I would have like a little more of it. The Yorkshire pudding was excellent if you prefer your pudding not to crispy. Very nice cauliflower cheese but the stork of it needed more cooking. The beef was very tender but ask for a steak knife as the normal knives just pull it apart. We had extra gravy and it was very good.

Definitely a different afternoon tea - in a good way. If you want beautiful garden surroundings, peaceful countryside, personal attention, fresh home made produce then this is for you. First time we've had afternoon tea without scones! But it made a nice change as the other cakes and pastries more than made up. Would have loved a few more of the savouries. Well worth a visit.
