The best restaurants serving British food in England

Favourite cafe to vist when in Eastbourne. Great food (had avocado on toast) as always & the best coffee. Excellent value & staff are always friendly & efficient Would highly recommend if visiting Eastbourne & need a relaxed place to eat.

Long wait , they take telephone orders and those in the shop have to wait. Curry sauce was bland. Staff friendly but with a forced smile. Just a corner fish and chips shop nothing special.

This is my favourite cafe, i love a matcha oat latte and they make the best one!

Took our kids there for a birthday meal was my son’s choice he absolutely loved it as did we all and the food was amazing.

Great small villages pub , lively at weekends and good atmosphere. Serving food from special guest catering at weekends also coffee, cakes and sandwiches at lunchtimes . Lovely outside areas to chill and big garden for children to run around. Games bar with pool , table skittles and board games. Live music accasionally at weekends.

Seems to be a good pub, live music on weekends till midnight, seems to close very late

Ordering was simple and efficient, came in really good time and the food was perfect exactly what I was looking for and the coffee hit the right spot. Staff where super friendly and helpful all in all really good experience keep it up 👍

Absolutely wonderful. Chips perfectly cooked and a good portion. Lovely thickness of batter on everything.

Sorry always like to a place when I've been used to good food ordered a donner kebab wasn't as good as previous management in fact nowhere near what I was expecting ordered sausage and for partner she threw it the bin as she said it horrible just warm going to go to Haslucks fish bar in future

The Slip Tavern is closed and no longer .an inn so don’t bother visiting it

Tried this cafe for the first time today whilst doing xmas shopping in nottingham. Very welcoming place, you can see that there is regulars and i dont blame them for returning.I had the medium size breakfast,added black pudding and mushrooms. I get sick and tired of half a grilled tomato on a breakfast(what is that all about) so it was nice to get proper tinned tomatoes on a breakfast for a change. All cooked to perfection with a cup of tea. Best breakfast I have had in a long time and if didn't live 20miles away would return more regularly. Will definitely be returning. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Mr shoelace says. Another great place to eat on the isle of Sheppey. Just totally amazing the f, which is delicious and plentiful. Fully recommended
