Family owned cafe with excellent service. Very friendly and the food was fabulous. I really enjoyed my Buddha bowl and my husband had an omelette which he also loved. Would definitely return.

This has to be the best value for money pub I've been to in a long time. Bar staff were super friendly, food was great and there was plenty of choice on the adult and kids menus. Lovely village location and an outdoor playarea for the warmer weather. We will be back and I'd happily recommend.

Fantastisk mat. Andeconfit var utsøkt og vinene meget gode. Forretten av fisk likeså. Erketypisk engelsk dessert av kastanjenøtter, brandy og fløte ga en super avslutning. Klart det beste måltidet i Middlesbrough

If you want a local, look no further, the real ale is second to none. Crystal clear pedigree that taste no less than a cloud on your beer buds. Brilliant and friendly staff and great service.

We have recently been to the Briardene Hotel restaurant for 2 special dinners comprising of parties of 20 people. On both occasions the food, service and settings were all excellent, and made the celebrations very enjoyable and special. Thank you to everyone and l would thoroughly recommend the establishment.

Honestly the best fish and chip shop in Helston! From the moment you step in, you know you’re in for a treat. The chips are the perfect balance of crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The cod bites? Absolutely divine. Flaky, tender fish wrapped in a golden, perfectly seasoned batter that’s just the right amount of crisp. And let’s talk about that curry sauce – rich, savory, with a hint of spice that complements the chips and cod bites perfectly. Every element of this meal was cooked to perfection, and it’s clear that Nettles takes great pride in their food. To top it all off, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Lovely lunch as always. The seabass is a favourite, but everything is delicious. Kid and dog friendly too which is great. So lucky to have this as our local.

Excellent cookery in a lovely cozy environment. I always feel well looked after with their friendly atmosphere and the food speaks for itself.

As usual what I'm looking for is great food, exemplary service and a reasonable price. This pub hit the mark on all counts. Visited on a Sunday and whilst a Roast isn't my favorite meal when eating out, this was excellent - from the crackling to the roasties and the gravy but especially the Yorkshire pudding. Friendly and prompt service from the young wait staff and a bill that was smaller than I expected, rounded it all off.
