Palm Pavilion in Canterbury

Visited the hotel for a meal, food was excellent, service amazing. The staff were the most politest people we have been served by for a long time.Will definitely be going back

Had a family dinner to remember a family member who recently passed away. 26 adults and 4 kids. From the outset of the planning to the meal itself, the staff were amazing. The food (Sunday roast) was excellent and everyone went away happy. A very good place for an event of any kind

Family lunch for 8. We didn't want to pre-order for the large group and we were warned service might be a bit slower so we went early. No problem it was a family gathering anyway so time was not of the essence. Service food and ambiance all excellent. Only the weather let us down - no views for our Canadian guest to see. We loved everything we ate although comments were made that the sea trout start was perhaps a little small.

We were told there were no steaks available only after we had placed the order. The pieces of hake, three were ordered, looked like child portions, as if they were cut from one single fillet. The hot banana cakes were not really hot; there were tough and chewy pieces of banana slices at the bottom that tasted more like plantain than banana. There were 6 of us and the bill came to over £200.

We had a gorgeous lunch at this beautiful hotel yesterday - the presentation of the food was brilliant and tasted fantastic! We were served by Ruyman who was attentive, knowledgeable and very welcoming. We had a gorgeous time and will be back very soon! Thank you Ruyman and your team! 🙂

We had lunch with our friends and an amazing meal, our friends had mussels and they said it was the best they’ve had the mussels were large ,not chipped or out of the shells,with excellent wine sauce. We had the belly pork with a coffee crusting , it melted in our mouths it was so tendered , followed by coffee serve by Ruyman from grande Canary . It’s a must go to for fine dining,end of .

Inside and out the views through the bi-folding doors are fabulous. Food is delicious - always a good selection on the menu, including good vegan dishes. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner - all equally good.

One of our group had visited and recommended we visit. It was a very good idea. I had been before the new owners had taken over and it was very good then. Plus we knew Sarah and team from the Three Mariners in Oare, Faversham days. Thus knew it must be good. Not disappointed either. They have spent a fortune in landscaping for a start. We were able to dine outside under cover with the amazing view over the Swale Estuary and farmland including the wetland run by the RSPB. The drinks are good and food excellent. Presentation and service excellent. Recommended.

Warm welcome upon restaurant arrival. Great menu choice for lunch with wide range of interesting dishes to choose from. Service outstanding; views out to sea spectacular. Venue clean and tidy and in keeping with hotel 4 star rating. King prawn; beef rump; selection of desserts. All food presented beautifully and extremely tasty.

An amazing New Years Eve lunch at the Palm Pavilion, Whitstable. I have to say this place never disappoints. Despite there being a large group, the food and service were excellent. The salmon starter was exquisite followed by an outstanding beef Wellington (with a very fussy friend commenting that it was ‘London standard’.) If you are looking for a restaurant with amazing staff, fabulous food and outstanding views you should look no further.

Stunning location with amazing views of the estuary and Isle of Sheppy. Can’t fault this place dinning room was spacious clean, and nicely decorated. The Food was excellent and good portion sizes. The staff and service was wonderful. We will definitely return.

We are at this restaurant all weekend whilst visiting family, and it is absolutely wonderful! Scallops and crispy pork belly were our favourites. The staff couldn’t do more to make us feel welcome and happy- they even moved our whole table to make room for our dog!

Me and my wife stayed at the crescent turner last week and this place is amazing!! the room was lovely the staff friendly and the views were out of this world, cant recommend this place high enough, Even if you are not staying there, the restaurant is a must, the best food and views in Kent, we will be returning very soon!

I have been lucky enough o have experienced a family lunch a romantic dinner and a wonderful afternoon tea with my granddaughters at the Palm Pavillion restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful with a view to die for. The staff are super attentive and the quality of the food is first class. A varied menu that offers a fantastic refreshing choice. I highly recommend it.

I came to the crescent turner, to dine in the palm pavilion. The atmosphere was perfect, tables laid beautifully and the views! Just stunning. The service was outstanding. So friendly but professional. The food, was excellent. Risotto was gorgeous, and so are the desserts! 100% recommend for any occasion!

What can we say. The evening was fabulous from start to finish. The venue is simply breathtaking with gorgeous views and spectacular sunsets if you time it right. The decor and lighting are just gorgeous with great attention to detail. The staff are attentive and...
