Worst Nandos we have ever been to, unorganised and terrible customer service.

Waiting service was pleasant, young lady who seated me was pleasant and very helpful. Points system was down and was told prior to ordering, food was amazing tasted very fresh and was warm. Great experience will definitely revisit.

I've always thought nandos was over priced. Only go when my daughter and grandson want to go.

Quite open plan, so is a bit noisy. Staff were just staff not overly welcoming.

The chicken breast was tiny, it looked processed, insipid and unappetising, the halloumi cheese was 2 thin slivers, they were both served luke warm on a cold plate, poor service and zero atmosphere....awful, expensive and disappointing 😞

Got full platter boneless plus chips coleslaw and garlic bread for ×2 people and ×2 beers which came too £36 something, we got only one plate to eat from??, as they had run out of clean plates?, only got a few chips, and not much chicken either, food wasn't as hot as it should of been, but food was nice. However £36 is a lot of money for 2 lots of chicken and chips and 2 beers, my opinion, do go elsewhere!. Oh and before I forget I saw x3 staff members not wearing hair nets, and they were serving food, one of them wasn't even wearing a nandos uniform!!.

Very slow service, despite not being overly busy. Waited 20 minutes+ for starters then similar amount of time on top of that for mains. Food of the standard you would expect, so no complaints there, but should have gone to the Birstall branch I think

What a total disappointment today in nando's white rose ! The girl that served us was rude took the wrong order witch resulted in us been charged more ! And when the food came in and confronted her she was again rude and has an attitude!! The food was tasteless, the chicken was not cooked properly . I always go to the city centre branches and the food /service is always spot on. Avoid at all costs! !a Total waste of money today ..

I do love a good Nando’s but I would avoid this one at all costs, staff and manager are lazy I watched them walk past tables with glasses & plates on several times, all chairs not tucked in, floor was dirty, there all kids just doing what they want because they know they can get away with it, no clear management to the place, needs to be some sort of organisation to the way there running the place, food was left on counter for ages by time it came it was cold, manager had a attitude, staff had a attitude was playing with there friends and talking, when I arrived I was asked to wait 10-15 mins for a table, when they was loads available, no one had cleaned the tables I was literally watching the staff talk and do unnecessary things when they should be prioritising tasks! Ruined my evening meal! There is no excuse for this it was quite and there was more than enough staff on shift, I watched one staff member finish there drink and food on a table and they got up and didn’t even move there stuff, utter laziness

No bottomless drinks no salt or pepper sachets 1/4 chicken was a chicken leg food lukewarm rainbow salad disgusting

Oh no! Today's experience was stupendous. Not only did they make a mistake with the rice side of the liver and chicken meal order, only for the crass staff to pass me the rice with condescension, asking me to keep the extra chips I didn't order for. I insisted I didn't want the extra chips and kept it on their counter. You actually thought I was evading paying for another bottomless drink. 1 bottomless drink was purchased because it CLEARLY SAYS BOTTOMLESS! Whether I go get further drinks with the glass cups used for water, the fizzy drink was bottomless! It didn't make sense wanting to charge me extra £7 which I happily paid for. However, it just shows how low and warped the mentality of the Nandos White Rose staff clearly is.

Called in for two chicken burgers and bottomless soda, waited at the gate till a supervisor had to pull a waitress from chatting to show us a table, her face was far from welcoming. Food served promptly but at £30 for 2 chicken burgers and the soda, with the attitude of 5he staff….no not for me. Food was ok but the service, price and jaded staff. I won’t be going back to any Nando’s.

The atmosphere is vibrant, and the staff are generally nice and accommodating. However, it can get very busy at times, which sometimes affects the service. On a few of my visits, I’ve noticed a shortage of sauces, which was a bit disappointing, especially when you're craving that extra kick. Despite this, it's still a solid spot for a flavorful meal. Just be prepared for the crowds and occasional sauce scarcity. 😃

Very Greasy food, which is not normal for Nandos. Also when the delivery driver turned up, he had an old woman in the car with him. He also shoved my delivery bag in my hand. A very Unpleasant experience, which cost me over 30 quid Food unpleasant..

Good food and good service. Gluten free option is available however you can only order in person on the counter. Plenty of different types of seats. Wheelchair accessible.

Both me and my mum came here on two separate occasions and the chicken is never cooked. The chicken was raw and i showed staff and asked whether it was cooked, and they didn’t answer my question and just offered a new one to be made. After having raw chicken and feeling sick, I don’t think another plate of nando’s would’ve helped. My mum visited and ordered a vegetarian wrap and after that, she got food poisoning. The staff are very unhygienic and the plates and cutlery were very unclean.

Never go back to this Nandos! Very bad experience! We have visited this branch yesterday Saturday, many times I asked them my wife is pregnant and we are not comfortable to sit outside the restaurant, but all the staff were very rude and they didn’t give us any table inside! Literally there were a few tables available inside and they said unfortunately we can’t give this table to you!!! Very rude staff , never go back to this nandos anymore!!!

Friendly staff, knowledgeable on their menu. Wheelchair accessible with completely flat floor and mid size accessible bathroom. Being in a shopping centre food hall it lacks some of the atmosphere of a standard Nando's but they do their best.

This Food was dead on so many level, the chicken looks like it’s still clucking. It’s raw and slimy fix up Nando's. Which i could give it a 0 stars but doesn’t give me an option.

Overhyped and overpriced! It's just chicken. Dry chicken. The lass who served us was friendly and helpful, can't fault the service, but the food is just meh.

The service is very good, but the prices are very high, I think they should always add garnish or companions to the plate, for example when ordering a burrito it looks ugly, just that on the plate without anything else, even if it is courtesy. Personally, I thought it was a lot of chile.

Went today for a bit of lunch. Food was lovely, and a lovely member of staff offered to fill my drink up as I was holding my 3 month old baby. Went above and beyond, and such a small gesture has gone a long way. Thank you :)

Waited 30 minutes for food but was told no wait for food just for a table chicken was extremely dry rice was dried up and mac and cheese was dry too overall a big let down

I’ve been living in England for 12+ years now and I worked at Nando’s before(not white rose but in London). Seen similar issues in other restaurants but having a family member working in the company and still going through these things it’s just sad as I don’t go often nowadays but when I go I wish that the experience would be different. Since I moved to Leeds I believe that were at least 5/6 different Patroes and I met them all. I wonder if the family discount is not available anymore as the times I’ve been I’ve never had it.. The other thing is seeing a restaurant being quiet enough and staff just to hang around and being on their phones including managers not showing the example. The days I normally go there I really feel uncomfortable with the look the manager gives me and that’s a person in specific, a lady with glasses I believe. I remember the times Simon worked in White Rose and it was just amazing how he used to welcome my family and anyone in general. Such a big loss for the restaurant! I’m a chef myself and I praise good food (even if it’s fast food), and good service and Nando’s White Rose is lacking in every aspect. I do must say there’s a few people I can remember Sara I believe is a hostess and she’s always with a smile and asking if everything is okay. In general I don’t recommend Nando’s to anyone anymore because the service is close to zero apart from when some Nandocas are working. Not sure I can attach a photo or not but seeing a manager drinking Monster with a Nandoca who had finished her shift and her friends right in the middle of the restaurant. It’s so unprofessional and I have managed restaurants before. Such a bad example and I really don’t understand how can a restaurant stands out having such staff.

My teenage daughter visited with friends and had a really great experience thanks to the professionalism of the staff team who went the extra mile to make everything great. Thank you

Was a surprise to me that the portions were ok. Taste was ok and my kids liked it. Overall, overrated but this is my opinion. I didnt feel there is something special about it.

Mandos are always great, cleaning is a little lappesed. But the service is great and I like the atmosphere.

Large order online for collection. 1250 on bank holiday Monday. No complaints. Good service, on time for pick-up and food all good as expected. Enjoyed a double chicken burger with an added slice of pineapple, hot. Everything else was pretty standard.

First time visiting in a while and I won’t be in a rush to come back. Me and my wife ordered Fino Pita’s and it seemed to be missing the sauce, tasted like a standard medium pita. Very disappointing Nando’s, what’s going on!?

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH second time ordering second mistake, first time missing items, second time completely wrong order and are useless as dont even bother to answer the phone after ringing for 15 minutes AVOID at all costs

Fantastic branch. We had 3 children with us & they had a wonderful experience. The food was perfect & staff very friendly.

Requested a table to allow for one wheelchair user. To my shock and disgusting horror they expected the customer to navigate through the middle of two rows of tables with sitting customers. An absolute lack of common sense.

Very slow service, it's the second time I've been to Nandos and nothing has changed. I decided to order for pickup and I had to wait 20 minutes for the order to be ready. I don't understand what is the point of ordering food at a certain time if the time is not respected. very arrogant staff, sees you at the door and ignores you! if this thing does not change, the company will definitely be affected by the ignorant and careless staff!

What is the point of advertising opening times and then not adhering to these?

on 6 Feb at 20.18, the lady who welcome the customer is not profesional. She did not take my name during queue, she and others two ladies was laughing on my back, talking about me. Rude customer lady. she should take my name and let me wait...she just let me wait without taking my name, she said 10 minutes but more than 10 min

Very slow service untrained staff

Service, food and atmosphere was utterly unsatisfactory. Staff did not service well; it took us around 5 minutes to be seen to, staff was having a conversation at front desk completely irrelevant to the restaurant as they were discussing bus times. My partner also was served by a monotoned lady with no care in the world. Paid for a coke and was accompanied by sparking water look alike from the machine. Other customers were also waiting around 5 minutes aswell so the staff can continue their conversation.

Very slow service, I received my food half an hour before my other two friends, all food flat cold. Staff were clearly more focussed on having a meeting on one of the tables rather than serving customers.

Oooh fabulous. 1st time eating here, and what a revelation. I've eaten at many Nandos before but this one was perfection. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared and very tasty. The staff were really very friendly and helpful. I thought Nandos was nice & tasty but the food here seemed to go beyond anything I've tasted before.

rude employee called Aleesh. Refused to come to us and went off to speak to other people and have a laugh and a chat despite us asking for her assistance. She needs some additional training on customer service and her professional code of conduct

Nandos is a friend favourite go to in my family.

Sadly they can't cope with the online orders and the customers in the restaurant suffer. We waited around an hour for our food, no complaints with the food we loved it and as always full of flavour

Busy bit of a wait but worth it

Got there, was busy as usual so put my name down on the list and was told 15-20 mins. Waited literally in front of person who put down my name. 30 mins past buy and I went and asked how long it would be to see the list and 10 people after my name had been seated. My name was never called out and she proceeded to say she must have said my name a few times (I was right in front of her looking through out. It was just a blatant lie) It was a blonde woman with a high pitched voice. Between 3PM and 4PM on Sunday (today).

The food was great and the staff went the extra mile. They were very busy but not too busy to make you feel you weren't invisible. I was delighted to see children eating McDonalds inside the resteraunt along with their parents eating Nandos. Common sense. Well done..

Located in the food court of White Rose this Nando’s is busy at most times however that said waits are not too long and service is prompt. Hosted by friendly and polite staff. The restaurant area, restrooms and kitchen areas look spotlessly clean. Food…. it's Nando’s… it's fresh, it's tasty, it's spicy. Just one negative comment about Nando's in general. They allegedly offer 10% NHS discount, however it is always capped at £4.00… that is not 10% (especially given how expensive Nando's can get when you're there as a family)

Put an order through very late just before closing time, the order was accepted and ready at the agreed time ! On collection I was greeted with a smile and the order was given to me. There was a slight issue but was rectified with a blink of an eye! The manager on shift was very helpful. I don’t usually leave reviews but he definitely deserves one!

Let people finish their food before you take the plate of those that have finished. I felt like I needed to rush to finish because they were constantly taking things from the table.

The service here seems to get slower, currently waiting a half hour just for our starter to arrive & the main is ready so getting that too. Not good at all.

Usually not fond of Nando's as previous experiences have led me to think it's lacking behind the other competition. After a hefty session on Saturday me and four pals went Sunday night for one. The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable (usually not the strong point of the restaurant) and were great at checking drinks, food and welcoming us to the restaurant and checking allergies/whether we needed anything else. Food was amazing. Huge thank you to Alex and the rest of the team on the shift (17/09/23 after 18:00) you have managed to change my view about the restaurant chain, keep up the outstanding work!

We waited a few minutes for someone to notice we were waotinv to be seated. Glasses for drinks took a while. Food arrived promptly by an abrupt server. Whole place seemed understaffed at 5pm. By the time we left it was getting busy. One (of two) toilet was out of order. Food was lovely though.

I was there on 1st of August 3:50 pm sit on the table 11 and waited for my food 1 and half hour as I’m pregnant I tried to be calm and not say anything. Instead one guy who looked like a manager came and ask me if I received any food yet and I wasn’t. Then they offered me a voucher thing themselves even though I didn’t ask for it. Then my food arrived after I had my meal they said they will take my details to give me a voucher. I went to the till to give my details then they acted as I asked one. I found it very disturbing. They took my number and mail address and said it will be sent to me in a week time. A week I received nothing and being lied and and being fooled wasn’t ok. I was at the white Rose so I asked about this voucher. The manager lady said it takes 10 days not a week blah blah.. I said ok and left however it’s 16th of August now and I received nothing from them. If they just said sorry instead of fooling people I wouldn’t write a review but everyone there should be fired by Nando’s because they wouldn’t care less if the business was going down for them as long as they were being paid. Disgusting never again and tell anyone I know who likes to go there as well.

Waited 40 minutes for a table wanted loaded fries with my 2 daughters after a hen do and then some shopping, to be told they run out. Manager Tom and Sarah came to the rescue, looked after us superbly cooked their own version of loaded fries not that I had anything to compare them too cos I’ve never had them before BUT we were looked after so well, loaded fries was stunning top ups of drinks ended our day beautifully well, thanks so much Sarah and Tom we appreciate you both and how you stepped outside of the box today and went above and beyond. Xx

Food was late I had to ask for it, staff sat around chatting /eating, food was cold and tasteless, and had been frozen before cooking, asked for wet wipes told we don’t do em any more, Just a reminder to my self why I haven’t been here for years, Better chicken wings in a street take away , Step up Nando’s !!!!!!!

Crammed family of 5 into a booth only big emough for 4. Had to get a chair from another table and stick out into walkway. Waited over 25mins for drinks. Understood that it was busy so expected to wait for food. But 25mins just for drinks? Eventually went up to ask for them gave our table number was automatically was given 2 refill glasses even though that wasn't what we ordered. Then when food came sides were missing off 2 meals. Was quickly brought out to us but were just plonked on the table. Usually don't leave reviews as I'm not a Karen but was so disappointed with out service. Paying over £85 for food expect alittle better service even if it is "fast" service

First visit to Nando's in a while and prices have increased noticeably while at the same time the portions have decreased just as noticeably. Food, small amount that there was, arrived and to top it off the wrap and rice were cold. Admittedly we used to go to the restaurant nearby at Birstall and were always happy with everything there. Doubt we'll be rushing back in the near future to this branch.

Literally left me sat there waiting for 40 minutes then I ask where my food is and I'm told it hasn't even started cooking yet. Absolute joke. The place was filthy too

Very busy, food cold, order came out wrong and our meals came without our garlic bread sides absolutely spoilt our daughters birthday meal. Will not be coming to this branch again. We will go to TGI Fridays next time.

This is a beautiful restaurant! Never been to such a place with floral decor.Cups, the machine, plates, tables I mean everything is so pretty It’s a perfect place for breakfast, lunch or even for coffee and pastries.i would really love to visit this place again.

Just been in and waited 45 minutes for our order only for it to come out wrong .. These fast food outlets put Just Eat and deliveroo before the customer sat at their tables ..This trend needs reversing and they need to put the proper customer first .. got our money back and left , won’t be going back I’m afraid

Music was iconic . Roll over Beethoven , amapiano is here . Food was healthy yet retained that guilty pleasure of takeaways . The staff were friendly and efficient. Felt right at home . Also Nando's has great company of complementary dining and takeaway other businesses surrounding it . Yet after visiting all , Nando's is Lekker.

After a very long birthday day for both my boys we called in Nandos as a birthday treat to end the day. It was very busy when we arrived but they quickly sat me and my family in our desired booth seat. Food was ready within about 10 mins. To top our great experience off the staff we kind enough to let us use a birthday cake we had brought with us. Not just that but there added all the candles we provided. Lit them and then brought it out whilst a few members of staff sang happy birthday! The boys were over the moon! We regularly visit various nandos in and around Leeds and this by far was the friendliest, welcoming and most accommodating branch we've every been to! Thanks guys 👌

Went last night with hubby, the welcome team was friendly hence 2 stars... ordered the full chicken and sides, chicken livers and the 'new' loaded chips... the chicken was dry ( used to be succulent) and a little on the burnt side. The chicken livers were also burnt and dry ( overcooked maybe)... as for the loaded chips, they were half cooked and was expecting a little more cheese and chicken on them.... for £8 ... they were a disaster...maybe scrap them.

Friendly staff. The chicken was a little too much dark meat. But we had a great meal.

We were sat down quickly and food was nice as always however service was poor. Had to chase glasses to start with and wait 15min for a scoop of kids ice cream....after asking 3 different people....

Horrible service hade to wait 40 min for some cheese chips and something else I don't remember and a glas of water after 40 min they surfed me my food but no knife or fork or water apparently they were waiting for me to eat without any knife or fork lot's of childish people Woking there. I would never recommend to anyone to eat their. Please spend your money somewhere your money is worth instead this place I mentioned. Your welkom...

Pleasant staff ,clean environment lovely food

Not somewhere I'd recommend if you actually want service. I love Nando's usually. I couldn't order using the app because we had a gift card. So, I stood at the till, with 4 people in front of me which took forever. Granted, it was fairly busy but they refused to open a second till (it's quite a large seating area for there to be just one till). One waiter clearly couldn't carry more than one plate at a time because it would have got in the way of him flicking his hair and generally pretending he was at Paris fashion week. No fork, no napkins, generally the staff weren't with it. When I asked for a fork or a napkin, I got one from the manager who then didn't think that was an opportunity to replenish them. We left our name because there was a wait but our table was given away. The waitress taking names didn't ask, "what name please?" but rather, "are you X?" Meaning people could simply queue jump by saying, "yes". No apology for that. Not a patch on the one inside Trinity which is excellent.

Always enjoy the food a real treat.

I haven't be to Nandos for about 10 years and was reluctant this time if I'm honest but gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Yes the portion sizes are a little small for the price paid but what you do get is tasty and the novelty of the sauces still appeals. Service was good after an initial 20 minute wait for a table (it's smaller inside than I thought) but once in it's all really efficient with (most of) the staff being really friendly. I won't rush to return as there's other options I prefer when spending £50 to feed 3 people but I wouldn't resist for another 10 years :)
