A very welcoming place to dine. The food was delicious and the service received from Stephanie and Josh was excellent. Happy hour is 5pm to 7pm, and the drinks offered are great value priced at 2 for 1.

We had a wonderful lunch, today, to celebrate our 56th. wedding anniversary. We were early for our booking and after being greeted, chose to relax in the bar with cocktails . Our meal was delicious, as always and all the staff were attentive and kind? We have already booked our next visit.

Lovely atmosphere with candle lit tables. Food is amazing everything we had was very delicious. Recommend the chateaubriand if you have someone to share with. Staff were very attentive with very fast service.

Found this place by surprise. Was passing by Leeds and wanting to have dinner before continuing our journey! Lovely surprise. Great + big portion of food. Great selection of drinks. Very well decorated, next to the river, I suspect will be fantastic in the summer when weather is better! Service is good and speedy.

It's 20 years since I last went here. With the prices it might well be another 20... £180 for 2 courses, shared dessert and 11/2 bottles of wine? Compare that to £180 at a Michelin bib restaurant in Spain, 4 people, 5 courses, aperitifs and digestives, coffee and 1/2 bottle of wine each. You're taking the Mickey, Raymond.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Le Brasserie Blanc The French onion soup was rich and flavorful, with perfectly melted Gruyère. The duck confit was crispy, tender, and beautifully paired with Dauphinoise potatoes and a tangy orange sauce. To finish, the crème brûlée was smooth and creamy with a perfectly caramelized top. The ambiance was charming, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended

Just a little disappointing, french onion soup, the onions had not been reduced enough, garlic croutons soggy, the main stickie beef was ok but not very tasty, however a member of our table had the cheese souffle and the burger, she said it was lovely, so possibly just the wrong choice for me, lessons learnt! Stick to a burger and chips 🤔

Fabulous we have visited once before and had a fabulous time so when it came to takeing the better half out for a special birthday decided to go to leeds and visit agian. We were not disappointed and have to say the food was lovely. Robert the maitre di was great and very friendly and talkative. For some it may be a bit expnesive but to be honest for a special occassion i found it very reasonable and less that i expected. Location is really good and whilst we went in early Mrch with nice weather and satindoors in Summer it would be even better to sit outside by the canal. would reccomend it to all

Booked and arrived as a part of 2, told to wait at the bar as we were located to a table of 4 as complementary better table, brilliant service, fresh and hot food, cold and crisp wine, welcoming, romantic candle-lit atmosphere and clean water closets. Definitely recommend, Great value for quality.

I visited the restaurant on Friday to celebrate my friends 40th Birthday, there were 12 of us and the way the team handle my booking from start to finish was seamless. They recommended pre-order which was an excellent idea and all the food was amazing, everyone enjoyed their dish and said they would visit again!! Thanks for making the evening enjoyable.

Very disappointing experience. 😞 The steak had no special flavor, the meat quality was mediocre, and the portion was shockingly small. For the price they charge, it’s absolutely not worth it—terrible value for money. I expected a satisfying meal but ended up feeling ripped off. 👎 Would not recommend!

After a recommendation from the locals, we finally booked a table here It’s conveniently close to the hotel we stay at and it’s also a stones throw away from my favourite pub in Leeds (the Adelphi) Decor is welcoming and rustic Service is friendly, candid and efficient - I didn’t take our server’s name, but he did a sterling job tonight Food was good - everyone was satisfied with their steaks, mussels, fish and duck dishes Happy to return

This is now our go to place in Leeds for a special meal. Food is excellent, varied menu and service is spot on. The pistachio souffle sweet is out of this world. Don't expect massive portions heavy on carbs...this is French cuisine. Location is a bit out of the way but atmosphere is very pleasant. This is their most northern outpost.

Second visit this month to take advantage of their January discount. Excellent food and service! Will definitely be a place we keep going back to. The only slight negative I would add, is that they allow dogs ( my husband is allergic) totally unnecessary in a town centre location, in my opinion.

Probably one of the best places in Leeds, always top food and atmosphere. Had the pheasant yesterday and was unreal.

Birthday family dinner for 6 at a round table. Busy Saturday at 19:30 but this created the buzz of a good french bistro. Carefully laid out interior of old wharf side warehouse great atmosphere. Staff very friendly and attentive. Service good and not rushed. Menu classics all there. Best starter was cheese soufflé superb taste, snails, goat cheese tart and onion soup all good. Roast gammon, charred cabbage and sliced potato bake best main. Good cheese plate and puds. Wine selection good and seemed very sensibly priced. Great night very much enjoyed definitely worth a visit, highly recommended.

Went for a meal this evening and it was fantastic, from the moment we were greeted to the moment we left. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is incredible. A nice laid back evening not rushed and high quality all round. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. 10/10

I'm usually rather reluctant when it comes to chain restaurants but honestly had a marvelous experience! The food was very tasty, staff very polite, and a very cozy atmosphere. The only downside was the wait time for the food... We waited over an hour for our mains.

Disappointing. Had guinea fowl en croute for a starter. Did not taste significantly different from a Greg's pasty, I. E. Could not find the Guinea Fowl flavour. Beautifully presented, very flavoursome, and far too expensive. Had a mojito. Was awful. 90% ice 10% mojito so rather overpriced at 11 pounds. Fillet steak was incredibly. And so it should be for 32 pounds. Amazingly sauce was extra. Our bill was 134 for 2 people. 3 items we asked for were not available. The modules marinerre, cider and trifle. Rather disappointing all round. Won't be returning. Was so hungry at the end I bought a coop meal deal to eat on the way home!

On a cold afternoon we were greeted by friendly staff The restaurant was busy and we ordered Apple & ginger spritz which were very refreshing My Burger was well cooked and tasty and my Chocolate dessert was lovely All our food was well received

Lovely food and attentive service make this a fine spot for French dining in Leeds. In a pretty location by the river, the candlelit ambience creates a warm environment. By all means, save room for the signature desserts!

We fought our way through the snow to meet family for lunch. We were greeted as usual by friendly staff. There was about 16 of us so we had to pre order which roast we wanted. I had pre ordered roast pork along with two others in our family. When it arrived it was not roast pork. It was gammon joint. I was told by a stroppy waitress it was pork. Iv had Sunday roast here on many occasions it's always been lovely. Then a young guy came over and told us he would change it as it wasn't roast pork,which was super nice of him. We didn't get an explanation as to why we were given gammon. Specially as we had to preorder. The rest of the roast was great as per. The restaurant was empty but didn't matter as the staff were very attentive.

Excellent service, food outstanding starters, great choice. I opted for mushroom tartaine and hubby, the prawn and crayfish. Mains shared the chateaubriand cooked to perfection. Great selection of drinks ,opted for Berry Burst mocktail. Naoemi, excellent manager, very knowledgeable, excellent team . Great evening. 👍

Booked a table in advance and glad we did as this place was busy. All 4 starters and mains fantastic, staff friendly and helpful. Would recomended and visit again.

Dined here on new years eve . I had the venison which was nice . Mashed potato's & veg cold! My partner had trout veg & prawn potato cold , no hot plates? Mentioned to waiter didn't seem that interested? Asked for two white wines and soda came with tonic water? Mentioned to waiter oh yes we have no soda? Ambience is great just let down by cold food & poor service. I've had better meals elsewhere. Won't be going back soon. I have to add it was NY eve and very busy , maybe that was the reason don't like leaving a bad review.

Xmas Dinner, perfect except no pig in blankets

A nice place, calm atmosphere, staff are very good. Very nice soufflé starter but my roast beef main was a bit disappointing - all a bit cold and the Yorkshire pudding was dry not fresh. Limited vegan options and the one we had was ok but nothing to write home about. Overall I’d recommend it, price isn’t bad all considered - but the food could be better.

Disappointed as we didn't get the table we requested on arrival, it was reserved for us, but, was given to someone else with a dog. Didn't expect to see a dog in the restaurant of such high caliber, we could smell the dog which was off putting. Not hygienic! Wonderful dinning experience on 03/12/24. Pleasant staff & efficient service! We didn't feel rushed at all, it was lovely being able to eat & enjoy the company without having to stick to the time constraint. We'll done, we'll be back.

Fantastic meal to celebrate a friend's birthday. First visit, will certainly not be our last.

The food was so underwhelming, considering I'd heard great things about this place. They had run out of many items on the menu, and when my dish turned up, the dauphinoise potatoes were bone dry; the veg overcooked; the duck just about edible. There were 5 of us, and everyone had an issue with their dish. The staff tried their best, though.

Everything about our visit was top class. A great place to eat and relax. No pressure from staff to go to or leave our table. First class

UPDATE 18/11/2024 Actually my 4th visit this year. As always a warm and friendly greeting, great atmosphere (it is a gorgeous building). The staff were, as always, brilliant. The Autum menu is superb with brilliant dishes for every pallet. The prices? Same as most pubs I've visited recently. The difference? A kitchen brigade makes the good from scratch rather than freezer to microwave! Do yourself a favour and call in and enjoy! Update 7-01-2024 A perfect Sunday Lunch in fabulous surroundings with great staff both front of house and in the kitchen. I connit recommend highly enough! We have had a number of visits since last year BUT were back again for this years anniversary. Service exceptional, ambience in the restaurant and on the terrace brilliant! Food as always out of this World. Beetroot three ways heaven on a plate! 2for1 cocktails a real bonus!!!! Visited with my wife for an anniversary meal. Outstanding attentive but not intrusive service with the most delicious food, wine and cocktails abd all at a very reasonable price!

Starter of salmon was great, main had sat under the heat lamp a bit long.

Good atmosphere and attentive service. However, I was expecting more from the food. It was good but with the Blanc name behind it, it fell short of what we expected.

We had a great night and the food was wonderful. The only criticism was that the piano music was a bit too loud and made it difficult to hear each other.

This is an excellent restaurant for dog owners. We had a fantastic welcome with the staff fussing over our dog. There is a dog menu which is very funny (in my opinion pricey, but we liked the marketing effort). Noemi tried her best to accommodate my food intolerances, which required a number of back-and-forths with the kitchen. My guests enjoyed their steak frites. They had ordered a carafe of wine but I only realised after paying that they only got one (small) glass of wine each. My trout was fine. The cauliflower was mediocre but is not standard on the menu, so I expect that it tastes better with the restaurant's regular sauce. As a French national used to cooking, I would not have expected that it required much creativity to pull out a tasty vegetable without garlic and onion. However, with such a welcoming and helpful front of house team, it was still a very good experience.

What a beautiful place, by the river. And the food, it was exquisite! I am vegan and I absolutely loved the vegan options. They brought me a beetroot jelly, a risotto and ice cream. Great place, looking forward to find another excuse to come!

Lovely meal with friends of very long standing that had never been before.

To start with we had to ask to order drinks 15 minutes after being seated, the drinks took a further 20 minutes to arrive, this was the theme of the evening, Service was very slow. The food was at the standard expected, not Wow, but good. This is the 2nd time we have visited for a special occasion, many years apart and both have been not up to the hype / expectation.

Wow, what can I say. We arrived in an overwhelmingly large group, worried we wouldn’t be seated but Noemi managed to sit us down in time for the final orders of their Sunday lunch menu. The service and attention to detail from Noemi was immaculate, she catered for our fussy children and was quick to fulfil requests for extras / sides / drinks and more. I was continuously blown away by her kind efforts. The pork and the beef both delicious and I would highly recommend the pistachio soufflé for desert, it’s to die for. Thank you again Noemi :)

Excellent food and service. Always a solid choice for dinner.

Family meetings are usually mid-week or very occasionally Saturdays but for once it was a Sunday lunch visit. We were a few minutes early - so able to have a drink before moving to the table - which was a little slower process than expected. Only one starter was chosen - the Boquerones - which I was told were very good. The 'mains' were the traditional roast beef and where I had not thought to mention that I like it more grey than pink but it was lovely tender meat, well rested - so no complaint and together with the vegetables, plus a large, proper' yorkshire', it was a generous plateful. My guest went for the duck and enthused about it. Had there been enough time to allow the 'mains' to settle before needing to head off, we might have gone for a dessert but a good time gap, more than we could spare, would have been needed. Drinks were non-alcoholic cocktail for the guest and house red for me - to go with the beef. The wine options were a glass (170ml) half carafe (375ml - good to share) or bottle. As driving, I had to settle for the glass - as 375ml too much - but would have preferred 250ml. The staff were those we had met on previous visits - so quite happy with them and the gratuity. We will happily be back - especially as I noted that well behaved dogs are allowed and ours loves eating out.

Aug 2024 My wife and I take a date night/ day each month as we have a hectic life with work and 7 year old little girl. Yesterday we wanted to travel up to leeds from Derby to enjoy a Virgin holiday gift voucher that, I bought for my wife for Xmas. The start of our experience and Brasserie Blanc Leeds, was as expected good. Helpful as my wife is Gluten and dairy intolerant. (Unfortunately not loads on the menu for choice, however ran through the options). THATS when our experience and day got RUINED! The waiter came across and asked how the meal was, I had mentioned that mine wasn't great (king prawns) however had eaten it as l was starving (I had been up since 3am and had a yogurt, whilst traveling). The prawns were over cooked and dry and the main was under seasoned. The assistant manager Josh came over and asked also, I mentioned it to him and said I don't want to complain it's just my personal opinion and my wife's was like a watery broth that also lacked flavour. Response was excuses instead of trying to help. I had made a comment that Greggs would have more flavour. After 30 minutes no one came over to take our deserts order. Josh made every effort not to come over to us. Which we got up and left and gave Josh the voucher. As we were leaving a lady did come out to apologise and Josh stood at the door. l asked why he didn't come over and said I thought you had been served as the menus were not in the table, I mentioned you had been serving us this afternoon and knew I didn't enjoy my main meal. More excuses came out. God awful customer service! As we were walking away Josh made a flippant remark "enjoy your Greggs!" This is shameful and uncalled for! Appalling behaviour that I wouldn't expect!

Do yourself a favour, come here and try the Morteau sausage, terrific ! Mind you everything is terrific. We visit this restaurant exclusively whenever we are in Leeds.

First time for me and my husband, went with friends who had been before. Have to say lovely experience all round. Our server was a lovely French lady and she gets 10 stars 🌟. Food was also good and wine reasonably priced and very nice. Will defo visit again. Well done Brasserie Blanc 👏

Visited for my daughter’s 18th birthday and all the staff made our celebration really special. From the welcome complimentary presseco for our table to the attention to detail and warm atmosphere. All our meals were to a high quality, perfect portion size from a wide ranging menu, something for everyone. Wine reasonably priced, full and extensive options for all budgets. Barry is a fabulous waiter, attentive and friendly; making our family celebration a great day.

Good but not as good as my last visit. The fish soup was nice, but a langustine head with no tail was a little disappointing. Pistachio souffle for dessert was lovely and the chocolate ice cream to accompany was fantastic.

What an amazing venue! We ate the sunday lunch and we couldn't find one fault. The beef was so tender! The service really was outstanding and the food and drink recommendations were spot on. We were lucky to eat alfresco and sit out by the canal! The interior is stunning too though! We already can’t wait to return to try the a la carte menu! Thanks to the team!
