This has to be one of the friendliest Nando’s. The food, as always, is excellent. My 4 year old dropped her corn on the cob on the floor, and without ever asking, another was brought to her as a replacement. Epic staff. Well done team, thank you for making the dining experience so welcoming.

I went to this location with my guide dog and was given a hard time by an employee and later by the manager. Upon entering the restaurant, I was asked to provide documentation for my dog, which is illegal under the Equal Rights Act, and my girlfriend calmly explained that no documentation is required for assistance dogs. After we sat at our table, the manager came over and was extremely rude and confrontational. Her sister is apparently a guide dog trainer, so she was well aware that I was blind and of what a guide dog is, yet still felt the need to harass my girlfriend and I, telling us that we were wrong about documentation not being required to bring my dog into the restaurant. She only relented after calling her boss and being shown the laws by my girlfriend. At no point did she try to educate herself before confronting me. Being confronted by an employee is bad enough, but the manager is supposed to be educated, and given her prior knowledge of guide dogs, there is really no excuse for her ignorance but more importantly her clear disrespect towards people with disabilities. I would hope one would think that someone with an actual guide dog would be aware of their own rights. Instead she was happy to challenge me and ruin my experience until someone else told her she was wrong. Other reviews call out how nice this manager was but apparently not if you're someone with a disability. All customers including minorities deserve to be treated with dignity and respect at all times. While I appreciate the gesture of apology of covering our meal, the damage was done, as after dealing with this issue time and time again there is an emotional toll that it takes. I will consider removing this review if I receive a formal apology from this manager and Nando's corporate, and if I have confirmation that training has been implemented across all Nando's locations. Until then, I think that people looking to dine here should be aware of what happened.

As u enter and are seated you are pointed to a QR code that u can use to order. The ordering was smooth and our drinks arrived within a minute of ordering. Then you can go to the station to pick up utensils, napkins and the sauces. The sauces range from very mild to relatively hot. Nothing crazy like the ghost pepper sauces that some other places serve. All the sauces are a bit too full of vinegar and tart. However that is peri peri. The chicken is grilled fine, and the sauce adds the flavor. My highlight was the service, not the food.

I have to say I am a nandos convert for years I would stay clear from them (IT'S CHICKEN IT'S BORING) but now I love it like everyone else hahaha as it always looks busy. I have giving it 5 Stars all the way through apart from the food the food very nice but it lost one star I ordered a sharer boneless chicken there was not a lot of chicken Hahaha but with the sides I was full anyway so definitely recommend

Can’t go wrong with a good Nando’s. Service over years has varied a lot at this branch but really really lovely team today (Shalin & Team). Really made the visit enjoyable. Attentive and fast service. Thank you so much. Highly recommend the boneless platter if you’re up for sharing - my go to every time. Tried the new wild herb spice which I didn’t love. Will revert back to either Lemon and Herb or Medium.

Went to Nando’s today with my Nephew and Great Nephew who is 2 years old. The customer service we had was fantastic and the waitress was so attentive to my Great Nephew who is 2 asking if he likes colouring and does he need a high chair.. Honestly can't understand why nandos quality is so hit and miss. I'm so sick of complaining after every other order that as of tonight, I've decided to not use nandos ever again. There are only so many times you can complain to a company without being seen as someone who is lying. We felt lucky to arrive before the lunch rush; despite a fair few available tables, though, it was a while before we were seated. No big deal — but then after ordering it took quite some time before food arrived, and it was pretty tepid, as if it had been out for a while. They may need to find a space to store buggies/prams, because they had quite a few in the entryway which, when a queue had formed for lunch, made it difficult to leave.

I have eaten at this specific Nando’s at least once a week for over 12months now and have always received great customer service until I met a person for the first time today, who I can’t tell whether was a male or female in todays world but the persons name was Amanda and they claimed to be the manager. Upon arrival there wasn’t anyone at the entrance to seat us but as we could see downstairs was busy, my friend took it upon himself to quickly check upstairs to know whether it will be worth the wait and then came back downstairs to confirm there were some tables available. I was then greeted by Amanda as I waited for my friend to come back downstairs and said I am just waiting for him to come down to let me know if there was any tables available, which he then did within a few seconds… but then Amanda clearly didn’t like this and basically told us off like we were little disobedient school children, lecturing us about why we shouldn’t just go and check as they have specific procedures in place where we can only be seated by a member of staff as the member of staff has to ask us if we have any allergies (which for me has only ever happened when I am at the till ordering my food) but also commented straight after to say we wouldn’t do this if it was any other restaurant so confidently and sarcastically like we have known her for years so at that point my friend walked straight out as he felt she was being so rude and disrespectful and it was also embarrassing as customers started to look at us so we just decided to leave and eat somewhere else due to such poor customer service thanks to AMANDA.

Had the worst experience at Nandos Kingston for the first time in two years. The manager Amanda was very rude and sarcastic at the same time. Rather than being welcoming to customers, they were sharing their procedures in a very aggressive and sarcastic tone while we were waiting at the door. A colleague of theirs had already come to us and told us that we can wait for our table at the door, he was very polite and asked us to wait to be seated. However, Amanda came in with their procedures and told us that apparently they take note of allergy requirements at the door and that is why we cannot go to a table on our own and be seated but in the past 2 years our allergy requirements have always been taken at the till while placing our order. They were extremely rude and very unprofessional while speaking to us and constantly used a sarcastic tone. All of the employees we have interacted with previously and on this occasion have been courteous and welcoming, apart from Amanda. Please ensure your managers are setting the right example for the rest of the staff.

Arrived at Nando's around noon, let us pick our own seats in the laid-back atmosphere. The service was both prompt and friendly, and it was a nice touch being able to use the NHS discount for both of us. The loyalty scheme is pretty good too. You can customise how you want your chicken cooked. However, the hiccup was our meals arriving at different times – my friend finished eating before mine even showed up. It's a recurring thing at Nando's, and they might want to look into fixing that.

Not sure,where to start from … I love nandos more than anything and been eating for many years now.I have been visiting Kingston branch quite a few time and they never disappointed.Last 2 times i went there included today was nightmare. So your question is “what happened” and i would answer “what didn’t happened” … Viki was the person who took my order and i believe he is the manager on shoft dressed with grey t-shirt. I received my 1/4 chicken(breast) on table 2 and i have ordered well done and the cashier made sure it will be well done.Anyway the chicken was on my table extremely dry and withouth the skin and drowning of sauce so they can cover that has no skin. After i have asked Pascal to replace it,he looked at my like i was wrong and tried to tell me that there was skin on the chicken.After that conversation i asked him to replace it and then another 1/4 chicken was served on my table within 1-2 minutes and that time there was half of the chicken skin on and even more sauce so they are covering that half of the skin isn’t there. Pascal and one more boy trid to make me believe that chicken was okay … in 3-5 minutes constantly i had someone of nandos clueless staff on my table to resolve the issue. I just came to eat chicken and chips and relax.Then the 3rd 1/4chicken was served and luckily that was with the skin on and extremely small piece even the bones were missing.I have ordered extra 1/4chicken as that obviously wasn’t enough,then the staff started to chase me to make the payment,one of them to ask for my bank card,then i said i can pay with my nandos card as i have 1/4chicken for free.Then i had to go to the till before that chicken was served and my food was getting cold.I tried to scan my nandos card to one of your devices but it wasn’t working,then i was asked for the long number of the back,then he couldn’t find it. It was too much at that moment i had enough. I explain to Viki that that is extremely poor service and unable to deal with simple issue.He then replied that it is a bad day,but apologies its not my fault that its bad day. Once again.. i just came to eat chicken and chips.

I arrived with a friend and a double buggy, my twin daughters were sorting upon arrival. I was asked if I wanted to go upstairs and I said I would prefer to sit downstairs as I would regularly need to go backwards and forwards from the buggy to grab stuff. The lady said okay and asked us to sit in the waiting area. 10 mins later the same lady came back and told me my buggy was disturbing people as it was blocking the passage way. I explained to her that she was the one who asked me to sit there in the first place! She said ok and left. Another 20 minutes went by and my girls woke up so I asked at the till to place an order for some chips and drinks to help my children stay quiet but I was told no as we didn’t have a table. I asked if it could be put through as take away, the lady said yes to the chips but explained I couldn’t order drinks. Another 45 mins went past, my daughters were kicking off and people that arrive after us were already finishing their meals. I went up to a different lady and asked why we were being made to wait so long. She explained that because I asked to sit with the buggy only one table has the space for that. I quickly corrected her and explained I only requested to sit downstairs and never to have the buggy besides me. She apologised and sat us on the next available table with 2 high chairs. Our food took ages to arrive. All in all horrible experience, rude staff. We waited over an hour and a half, during the time, staff kept pushing my buggy whenever they felt it was in their way although I had already told them not to touch it or my children.

Unfortunately we will not be coming back here. We waited so long for the food and the kids were hungry. The chips came cold and we asked for it to be changed. 20 minutes later they came back (at this point the kids ate them as they couldn’t wait). They said it was to late because the chips have gone. This Nando’s has serious management issues and this needs to be address or you will lose a lot of customers.

Not only was my bun stale there was also the longest hair in my chicken burger which went in my mouth and almost made me sick the manager was also a disgrace arguing with me and trying to imply that I put it there avoid this gaff I will be taking this further

i had an amazing time at nandos! i always go but genuinely the food was so amazing. I’ve never in my life had such good service, it was all thanks to pascal! he made sure we had everything all of the time. usually nandos doesn’t really have such good service but genuinely pascal made our dinner so wonderful and even had a lovely chat with us at the end!
