Decent food. Service was alright.

Use to be a great place with authentic taste but now this place is big fat disappoint over priced and dirty as hell

Got a takeaway and regularly do. However, as of late, the wraps are overloaded with salad and not enough chicken. The wrap just ends up being really soggy and falls apart. The chicken tastes great but there definitely didn’t used to be this much salad.

This place has gone seriously down hill. We had a takeaway from Aroma yesterday and it was significantly less tasty than the previous meals we’ve had. The garlic mayo is a bland paste, and the Baba ghanoush tasted processed - not the delicious, fresh dip we’ve had here before. The bread is also inferior to what we’ve had previously. Such a shame, as these two things were so, so good! They forgot to put the extra bread we ordered in, and when we called to tell them the guy on the phone was really rude and didn’t offer to drop it off / us to collect it. £95 for four wraps and dip is pretty expensive when it’s this disappointing. We won’t be returning

Update: Fisrt time back in years, charged me extra on my £17 kebab because i asked for it not to be on my kebab but separately. Also tried to add in a chilli sauce they charged extra for again but i didn't ask for. You might have thought £25 for a kebab and chips might get you a free sauce but no, these businesses dont appreciate their customers and want to fleece them for every little thing they can. For the sake of 50p more profit they left a bad taste in my mouth and i wont be back for a long time. Shame, hope you enjoy the 50p extra you must need it badly. Staff are rude and send out undercooked food or missing items. Also they sometimes charge you extra for things you think are included in the price without telling you first!...not going back there again!...Also, STOP getting your own people to leave FAKE GOOD REVIEWS (trying to sell small chicken shish kebabs, are we really that gullible?) , learn from the bad reviews and improve your service instead!!!

👎👎👎👎👎Extremely high price but not impact on the quality of food, used to have Shawarma wrap but tasteless, disappointed, last night gave another try to order the Lamb Shish, I only can say totally NOT worth it, bad quality meat I ever had 👎👎👎👎👎

Haven’t been in a while maybe a year or two which doesn’t really make sense but based of my last visit the food is banging especially the shawarma's 😮‍💨

Just had a super lamb shish wrap with chargrilled vegetables as a takeaway! First time purchased but most certainly won't be the last - it was the tastiest I've ever had! Excellent, and would highly recommend it! :D

Food arrived soaked in oil, beyond belief. It was akin to someone dipping the mixed kebab in a bottle of oil!!

I absolutely love the food from here, but unfortunately today my food was cold, I couldn’t heat it up so went to waste.

Terrible….we had a mixed shawarma delivered last night and the lamb was mainly fat and gristle,hardly any chicken in it and the salad was not fresh,the chips weren’t very nice either it’s a shame because it used to be really good

The lamb in the shawarma was very dry, hard and slightly slimy, my suspicions are that it was the left over spit from the previous day. The food gave me and my kids stomach issues. I used to be a regular here before, food used to be amazing, but last few experiences have been poor and the general attitude of staff is not great, quite rude. I definitely will not be going back there again and would advise others to stay clear from this place.

Takeaway - we use Aroma on a regular basis, and we have been pleased with our food; on our recent occasion, that changed. We had the family over, and we used Aroma. My mother-in-law had a small chicken shawarma. She found excess chicken skin, which looked raw with hairs on the substance. It was very disappointing; she couldn’t eat her meal, and it also made everyone else doubt what we were eating. I am afraid this will be our last order, sadly.

I come here all the time with my family and the food has never been less than 10/10. chefs are always lovely and welcoming and make the best food, youanie was also such a delight and helped us with our order! will always be happy to come back! thank you for a lovely dinner as always :)

They spent time making sure the food I ordered was as specified. I have a couple of food intolerances but with their attention I can eat this food with my family.

Food was cold and took longer than expected to be delivered driver didn’t looked bothered sat on his bike for 10 mins before delivering is he not aware it’s people’s food he’s delivering and not letters absolute joke just eat drivers are slacking

Why so expensive?!!! A shawarma is meant to be an inexpensive tasty meal not haute cuisine. If it was cheaper, I'd frequent this place every week like I used to my in the past. Not sure how it is a going concern, it always looks empty when I pass by.

This is probably one of the best places for a takeaway Shawarma or Shish in the area. It always seems to hit the spot.

The food was nice but the price brought the overall rating down. I know everyone's increasing their prices but even so how can you justify spending £55, between 2, on a kebab? There are other places that have similar food quality but don't charge as much.

We had the best meal at Aroma. Their Shawarma's are the best I've had in this country and the lamb chops were more like steaks with a bone in it. They also do a desert called Kunefe, which is like sweet vermicelli with mozzarella in the middle, sounds strange but it was DELICIOUS!! Great service and good atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

Best Turkish meal! The salad with mint and pomegranate is a far cry from the usual lettuce and cucumber. The shawarma wrap was delish as was the bread and dips. Definitely recommend the chicken wings - super flavourful. And the desserts are yum! Especially the Kunefe. I’d never tried it before but will definitely be back for more. It’s an hour from us, but well worth the journey!

Food was really nice. Was a little on the cold side but I think the driver had a mare finding the address for some strange reason, so not the restaurants fault.

We having been coming to Aroma for years and visited again this evening. The schwarma and shish are cooked to perfection and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

Ordered at the weekend and staggered how much the prices have gone up by. Be aware, the prices on the website do not match the prices in store, so cost me an extra £10-15 for my order (to feed four)

This is special, unique-authentic taste. Bread was also delicious and clever with the tarragon on top. Highly recommend to sit in here. Well done guys !

Had to warm food in microwave and also felt the shawarma’s were overloaded with a disproportionate amount of salad to meat. Overall a little disappointed.

The dine in area is near the back. There was only 1 member of staff and they charge service charge (criminal in my opinion). The food it self was nothing special. It was served in very tightly packed plates. When you try to scoop it will just fall off. They even give you small plates which isn’t very ideal either. Service was very slow as excited due to only 1 member of staff. The food arrived before the drinks.

I got the large lamb shawarma wrap with chips and can of coke as a takeaway. The wrap was massive, definitely would have been enough if I got a small one. The price completely shocked me but thought it's fine because it must taste amazing then - Oh was I wrong! Although the meat was well seasoned, there were so many chunks of chewy meat that I had to spit out, it was disgusting and quite outrageous for the price. I paid £18.90!! Also not one smile from any of the staff, quite the opposite actually. Safe to say I won't return

I've been going to Aroma for over 15 years. From when I was a teenager. I remember when I used to go there and you'd get greeted but the lovely owner with a big smile. He was running the place to perfection. I went there yesterday and I was greeted with rude attitude. I spoke to my two different people who I know who have also had exactly the same experience unfortunately. I ordered a small shawarma and a small chicken shish wrap, coke can & yogurt drink and it cost me £27. The prices have gone up ridiculously. The food is still good quality but it's just a shame about the attitude of the team that works in the front of the store and the expensive prices. Will definitely not going back for a sandwich.

On the decline now, used to be big portion size for decent price but now large chicken shawarma is 13.50 collection and 5.00 large fries all together 18.50 for one person. Ridiculous prices for what is an average portion size

Not as good a si thought it would be. Needed more flavour/ sauce. We added a note to the restaurant to add sauce to the chips but it must have been missed as the chips came plain
