This is a lovely Turkish restaurant located very close to Kingston railway station. It has a large open plan layout with comfortable bench seating along the walls. The menu is relatively small but we had no difficulty in finding something to our taste. Indeed the food was truly delicious. The quantities were very generous and we ended up taking a “doggy bag”! We noticed other people doing the same so maybe the amount served should be reduced a little.  Service was very friendly. Recommended.

Went here for a family dinner. Was the best food I have had in a long time. I got lamb and aubergine with bechmel sauce which was unreal my boyfriend got the lamb shank which was so tender! Thank you Hass for the five star service !

The food was stunning! …so delicious with both delicate and vibrant flavours. The refreshing cold Meze were prepared with attention to details. The succulent meat were cooked to perfection from the lamb, chicken and kofte shish to the creamy lamb and chicken Doner and each with distinct flavours between them. The service was excellent and special thanks to Fey, Mustafa, Cio and Lhsen for taken such good care of us. We’re definitely coming back with lots of friends.

I regularly visit the Kingston branch of Cappadocia, and it’s been consistently great. So far, I’ve tried their lahmacun and various kebabs — all have been delicious and genuinely reminiscent of the flavors you'd get in Turkey. That level of authenticity is hard to find, especially in London. If you’re in West London, it’s definitely worth giving this place a try!

One of the worst Turkish food I had in my life. All meat dishes are served in excessive sauce, even tandir which is never cooked with sauce in traditional Turkish cousine. Islender served in massive tomato sauce. Arnavut cigeri served in massive spice that you can not taste the liver at all. Service is bad, we asked my daughter’s meals to be plain with no sauce at all but still received tandir in sauce, no information upfront that it was cooked in sauce. Prices are too high vs the quality Only pide and lahmacun are worth to eat Would never go again

We used to go to this restaurant 10 years ago before we moved from London. Still great quality and nostalgic tastes.

I’m a big fan of Turkish cuisine, bulgur, lamb chops, and all sorts of different kebabs or shish meats, this is the spot you want to try if you love it too, absolutely amazing !

I asked for a shish lamb regular size with salads and sauces, all came after few minutes and it was very tasty, freshly made plus portion size was very good for the price. It seems that staff is very friendly and professional.

We used to come here a lot when we lived nearer.We visited Kingston and thought we would have a takeaway chicken kebab Absolutely lovely. Beautiful chicken pieces and packed with salad etc. Vert busy but nice friendly service.

Thank you Cappadocia for consistently delivering excellent food - we come here often for a quick meal before the cinema and love the cold and hot meze plates. So fresh, varied, flavourful and amazing value. Also tried the tiger prawns today for the first time which were delicious. Service is welcoming and warm and friendly. Recommended!

This is my favorite places in the UK especially when in Kingston Upon Thames, where I often visit friends. The food is outstanding—always high quality and quite authentic, something I can attest to from my frequent travels to Turkey. The staff is consistently welcoming and professional, taking great pride in serving their guests. You won't be disappointed!

Went to this Turkish restaurant expecting a nice meal, but left completely underwhelmed. The waiter had a lot of attitude—rude, dismissive, and made us feel like we were bothering him just by being there. The food was another letdown. Everything was dry and lacked flavor—definitely not what you’d expect from Turkish cuisine, which is usually rich and well-seasoned. To top it off, they charged us for bread that’s normally complimentary at most Turkish places. It wasn’t even mentioned that there would be an extra charge. Would not recommend. Plenty of better options out there where you’ll get better food and actually feel welcome.

Service was fantastic, great sized portions, delicious food, great choices and relaxing atmosphere. The mezza platters are great to try and it was really fast but not rushed.

Went here as my friend recommended it, food was nice, cooked and tasted fine, service was ok. When the bill came, over £86 for 2 mains and 5 drinks, I didn't check the bill for a service charge, yes my fault but we was chatting and never gave it a thought, so I paid the bill on my card and gave the bloke a £10 note, he took it and never said anything. It was only later that day my wife said she thought it was a lot of money for what we had eaten so checking the bill I noticed the service charge had been added of £9.80. food was ok but nothing amazing, shame the waiter hasn't been honest with me, yes my fault but I won't be going back as I feel like I was mugged.

Charging £19.50 for a simple lentil soup is unreasonable and feels like blatant overpricing.

This was really nice. I had the lamb shank dish which was phenomenal (swapped rice for potatoes). Service was friendly and attentive. We were in a group of 9 on a medium-busy day and we got our food without unnecessary delay. I would go again.

This is a good restaurant which serves delicious food. The waiters are friendly and attentive. My experience today wasn't great as I sat down to enjoy my meal with my parnter, only for the waiters to be standing nearby yapping away. If there are issues please resolve them somewhere else and not on customers head. The noise of them yapping made me uncomfortable and unbearable.

I was extremely careful in choosing a meal which I thought might be easy and freshly prepared, so I ordered a seabass. Sadly it was perhaps a tinned fish as it was neither fresh with incredible strange salty brown red sauce. I ate the fish carefully avoiding the sauce. Unfortunately I had significant bloating and discomfort at night and this happened always after eating NOT FRESHLY PREPARED FOOD

Was told by my partner that the lamb just melts in your mouth so I agreed to go with her last Saturday Lamb Shiah was over cooked and chewy Overpriced also Bade restaurant in Teddington is a far better Turkish restaurant

We are turkish and Indian family. This is such a homely place. The staff are so kind & helpful. The food is so delicious, like my husband's grandmother used to make. Cannot reccommend enough. Thank you for bringing some home to Kingston.

On both occasions, Mustafa, the chefs, the manager, and the entire team went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Feels authentic and is delicious. Beyti Sarma excellent and a lamb doner to share. Excellent cheese baklava thing I can remember the name of for desert. And mint tea was tops too. Nice touch Turkish delight mouth cleanser with bill, could eat a sack load. Fantastic.

This is undoubtedly the greatest restaurant in the entire of England. There is no better place outside of Turkey to experience the delicious Turkish food! The service is also very good with friendly staff and the food comes very quickly.

We had dinner there last week, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we called to make a reservation, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The food was outstanding—every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. But what truly made our evening exceptional was the service. The gentleman who served us was simply amazing—one of the best we’ve ever encountered. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly valued as guests, all with a warm smile. I highly recommend the fantastic food and top-tier service!

Every dish was bursting with authentic Turkish flavors. We started with the mezze platter, which was a delightful selection of creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and perfectly seasoned dolma. For mains, the Adana kebab was juicy and flavorful, grilled to perfection, and the lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. The baklava for dessert was a perfect end to the meal — rich, flaky, and just the right amount of sweetness. They also offer a great selection of Turkish wines and traditional teas, which added to the authentic experience. Cappadocia is a gem in Kingston, perfect for a special occasion or a cozy dinner with friends and family. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning soon! We've eaten in the restaurant in the past and ordered take away but the food we ordered for takeaway yesterday was an all round disappointment. The saksuka/grilled aubergine was very oliy and bland, the sucuk was rubbery. The chicken sheesh portions were very small, and the Iskender kebab had very generous portions of meat but it was very bland. Very disappointed.

A bit disappointed with my last visit where the staff member seemed to be a bit rude. I had water dropped on me. I had to ask several times for things. Just didn't feel comfortable. Further update: the food is amazing, staff are lovely and setting is excellent. I brought my wife here and she loved it. The manager Hagi provided top class customer service. He is excellent at his job and his staff are well motivated. Its been a long time. Absolutely love this restaraunt. It has a lovely spacious setting. The service is great. Staff are friendly. And most importantly the food is amazing. It is also family friendly. The food is simple, juicy and very tasty. It caters to all people from salads to fish to mixed grills. You really cannot go wrong. Also a little tip - try the kunefe. I've never had anyone try this desert without liking it.

Ate here twice. The lentil soup, seabass, mezzes and mixed grill were very delicious. The service from tye staff was fantastic too. A special shout out to the young lady looking after us at the busy table of 16 individuals. She kept her smile and her excellent customer service throughout the time we were there. Thanks again!

The liver, hummus, and shakshuka I had were the best I've eaten in a long time. I had tried the fixed menu before and it was good too. I also shared those pictures too. But the liver, hummus, and shakshuka were absolutely amazing. Normally, we constantly get take-away items from here and enjoy them very much. The staff is generally very helpful and they are all hardworking. Especially the tall blonde young staff member in the take-away section, whose name I can't remember, is very friendly. I guarantee that once you experience it, you will keep coming back.

Visited yesterday evening along with my 2 cousins and was appalled by the customer service to say the least. We went there to break our fast as it is the month of Ramadan. We were seated in a very inconvenient table, away from everyone else (?). We made it clear to the waiter that we had come for an Iftar meal and he said he would get us some dates to break our fast (they never came). It took them about half an hour to take our order, another half an hour wait for our starters and guess what another half an hour for our food!! 😂When we questioned where our food was we found out that it had not even been cooked, we asked to leave and was told our food is ready all of a sudden?? Baring in mind there were TWO tables (both were 3+ people) who came in after us and were served, ate and left before we had even got our main meal?! We spoke to the manager and he mentioned to us that it was because we had “starters” which makes no sense because its not my first time in a Turkish restaurant and they all are pretty quick with it so why does this one have to be different? We are also from Turkish background and maybe that is the reason for the dismissive attitude from the staff which is such a disappointment. Oh we also got charged £1.20 when we asked for extra bread (you will know what i’m talking about if you regularly visit Turkish restaurants)😂. Surely wont be visiting ever again. On a brighter note shout out to Faye, lovely waitress and was honestly the only reason we stayed, Thanks Faye! 💖

The freshly cooked lahmacun was light, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Iskender kebab was a highlight, with tender meat and a delicious butter sauce on top. For dessert, the kunefe was absolutely incredible—sweet, warm, and perfectly indulgent. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Turkish flavors and great hospitality!

Really accommodating, it was so busy and the staff did Thier best to get us a table , due to how busy it was , there was a slight delay with food which wasn't an issue gave complimentary drinks and food . When the mains arrived hands down best Turkish mixed grill I've had

Cappadocia is a place where you can eat while sitting comfortably at a table, or take a gourmet kebab in hand at Cappadocia Express. We tried some very tasty dishes like Adana Kebab and Ali Nazik. In addition, we tried some very tasty Turkish wine. The service was exceptionally friendly.
