His warm smile and impeccable service always ensure a comfortable and enjoyable evening at the restaurant. I’ve had the pleasure of dining here several times, with my most recent visits on December 14th, 2024, for a work Christmas gathering, and March 21st, 2025, for a family get-together. On both occasions, Mustafa, the chefs, the manager, and the entire team went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant—it truly deserves more than a 5-star rating. Thank you once again for creating unforgettable experiences!

Feels authentic and is delicious. Beyti Sarma excellent and a lamb doner to share. Excellent cheese baklava thing I can remember the name of for desert. And mint tea was tops too. Nice touch Turkish delight mouth cleanser with bill, could eat a sack load. Fantastic.

This is undoubtedly the greatest restaurant in the entire of England. There is no better place outside of Turkey to experience the delicious Turkish food! The service is also very good with friendly staff and the food comes very quickly.

We had dinner there last week, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we called to make a reservation, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The food was outstanding—every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. But what truly made our evening exceptional was the service. The gentleman who served us was simply amazing—one of the best we’ve ever encountered. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly valued as guests, all with a warm smile. I highly recommend the fantastic food and top-tier service!

Although we did enjoy the food the waiter who served us was really rude. It's just not necessary and means I wouldn't return.

Outstanding Turkish Cuisine at Cappadocia! I had the most wonderful dining experience at Cappadocia in Kingston! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Now, let’s talk about the food — simply phenomenal! Every dish was bursting with authentic Turkish flavors. We started with the mezze platter, which was a delightful selection of creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and perfectly seasoned dolma. For mains, the Adana kebab was juicy and flavorful, grilled to perfection, and the lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. The baklava for dessert was a perfect end to the meal — rich, flaky, and just the right amount of sweetness. They also offer a great selection of Turkish wines and traditional teas, which added to the authentic experience. Cappadocia is a gem in Kingston, perfect for a special occasion or a cozy dinner with friends and family. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning soon! Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've eaten in the restaurant in the past and ordered take away but the food we ordered for takeaway yesterday was an all round disappointment. The saksuka/grilled aubergine was very oliy and bland, the sucuk was rubbery. The chicken sheesh portions were very small, and the Iskender kebab had very generous portions of meat but it was very bland. Very disappointed.

A bit disappointed with my last visit where the staff member seemed to be a bit rude. I had water dropped on me. I had to ask several times for things. Just didn't feel comfortable. Further update: the food is amazing, staff are lovely and setting is excellent. I brought my wife here and she loved it. The manager Hagi provided top class customer service. He is excellent at his job and his staff are well motivated. Its been a long time. Absolutely love this restaraunt. It has a lovely spacious setting. The service is great. Staff are friendly. And most importantly the food is amazing. It is also family friendly. The food is simple, juicy and very tasty. It caters to all people from salads to fish to mixed grills. You really cannot go wrong. Also a little tip - try the kunefe. I've never had anyone try this desert without liking it.

Ate here twice. The lentil soup, seabass, mezzes and mixed grill were very delicious. The service from tye staff was fantastic too. A special shout out to the young lady looking after us at the busy table of 16 individuals. She kept her smile and her excellent customer service throughout the time we were there. Thanks again!

The liver, hummus, and shakshuka I had were the best I've eaten in a long time. I had tried the fixed menu before and it was good too. I also shared those pictures too. But the liver, hummus, and shakshuka were absolutely amazing. Normally, we constantly get take-away items from here and enjoy them very much. The staff is generally very helpful and they are all hardworking. Especially the tall blonde young staff member in the take-away section, whose name I can't remember, is very friendly. I guarantee that once you experience it, you will keep coming back.

Visited yesterday evening along with my 2 cousins and was appalled by the customer service to say the least. We went there to break our fast as it is the month of Ramadan. We were seated in a very inconvenient table, away from everyone else (?). We made it clear to the waiter that we had come for an Iftar meal and he said he would get us some dates to break our fast (they never came). It took them about half an hour to take our order, another half an hour wait for our starters and guess what another half an hour for our food!! 😂When we questioned where our food was we found out that it had not even been cooked, we asked to leave and was told our food is ready all of a sudden?? Baring in mind there were TWO tables (both were 3+ people) who came in after us and were served, ate and left before we had even got our main meal?! We spoke to the manager and he mentioned to us that it was because we had “starters” which makes no sense because its not my first time in a Turkish restaurant and they all are pretty quick with it so why does this one have to be different? We are also from Turkish background and maybe that is the reason for the dismissive attitude from the staff which is such a disappointment. Oh we also got charged £1.20 when we asked for extra bread (you will know what i’m talking about if you regularly visit Turkish restaurants)😂. Surely wont be visiting ever again. On a brighter note shout out to Faye, lovely waitress and was honestly the only reason we stayed, Thanks Faye! 💖

I loved my Turkish pizza thing but my partners chicken tasted disgusting, like it had been sat out for half a day. Some of the chicken was slightly pink too

The freshly cooked lahmacun was light, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Iskender kebab was a highlight, with tender meat and a delicious butter sauce on top. For dessert, the kunefe was absolutely incredible—sweet, warm, and perfectly indulgent. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Turkish flavors and great hospitality!

Really accommodating, it was so busy and the staff did Thier best to get us a table , due to how busy it was , there was a slight delay with food which wasn't an issue gave complimentary drinks and food . When the mains arrived hands down best Turkish mixed grill I've had

Cappadocia is a place where you can eat while sitting comfortably at a table, or take a gourmet kebab in hand at Cappadocia Express. We tried some very tasty dishes like Adana Kebab and Ali Nazik. In addition, we tried some very tasty Turkish wine. The service was exceptionally friendly.

Had takeaway from the fast food side of the restaurant. Very tasty, the pita bread was amazing, it was Cyprus style pitta. So soft and fluffy, best Cypriot pita bread I've had. Salad was really nice. Falafel was ok, not the best but overall really good with the excellent pitta and salad

Went here with a friend this evening. We had the “ kebabs” different from the kebabs of old … Very tasty. Restaurant was busy, a nice buzz- yet service by Ali was great - friendly & attentive. Happy to recommend & will return.

Mixed grill was great for 2 people. A good variety of different kebabs. Great value for money. The service wasn't what I expected in general as usually Turkish restaurants are better and more generous.

Excellent setting serving excellent food!! Cappadocia is a must if you're ever in Kingston. The decor is very glamorous, almost movie like. Ordered the mixed grill, which had lots of different meats that come with it. The portions are pretty big for each meat, way too much for a party of two which I was and could easily feed four. Every type of meat was full of flavour which made every mouthful an absolute treat. Staff, atmosphere and food is all high quality. Would happily return to try some more of the menu!!

Racist waiter. The lady was lovely but the man who “served” was the opposite. He didn’t not adhere to any of our requests but he was courteous and polite to the Arab and white people seated near our table. One can find good food in a multitude of places but bad service leaves a sour taste in the mouth. I’d rather give my money to a more deserving business.

Visited for an evening meal January 2025. I was here solo and arrived around 5.30pm on a Saturday and they were packed! I had a small table by the door which would’ve been a pain normally, but I was hungry and not fussed being on my own. The service was efficient and I thought by London standards it was decent value. Shy of £20.00 for the Adana which was 4 kebabs, flat bread, salad, rice and salad. It was good quality food. Service charge (discretional) on a table of 1 is very questionable, but given that I felt it was good value in other areas I accept it as part and parcel of the overall picture.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant. The food was excellent, really professional friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. Would recommend the Cappadocia to anyone.

I had this salad 5 YEARS AGO. But I think about it at least once a month. Figured i'd leave a review! Hope I can revisit England soon to come back to this place (pls never take this salad off the menu)

Very nice restaurant. Good service and food selection. On the downside is the seats - ours were right in front of the main entrance, and it was cold outside, so every time new customers came in, we were freezing (advice: put some sort of separating light wall)

Went on a Saturday night and it was very busy, so we moved tables after we had the set menu which was delicious and too big for the table we were originally sat at.

We went along for lunch today. I have not been for a few years now & my friend maybe about a year. We both had the mixed grill & all I can say is it was incredible before but has moved up a notch if that is even possible. The food was outstanding,my pot of fresh mint tea in an ornate pot & the cutest little glass to drink it with, a wonderful touch. The staff were attentive & very friendly & full of advice ..My friend had the semolina desert 3 generous pieces served with Vanilla gelato. I had both a pistachio & a Rich dark chocolate gelato which were a delight... I will be back there again soon ,I cannot believe I had left it so long before returning. It won't happen again. Truly remarkable ..Highly reccomended.

This is the second time in ten years that I get a chicken wrap from them, the first one was an average experience but after probably 7 years this was definitely the worst wrap I had in my life, for the paid price (£11.5), to take away, I expected much better. At the first bite it felt good, I could feel the soft wrap in my mouth, the second bit was ok because there was not much meat in the beginning, at the third bite I thought I should have asked my money back. The meat seems tasted just salt and oil, thus it had every ingredient in it. My 11,5 pounds went directly to the bin. There will be no next time.

It was a Thursday night, and it was packed! The Cappadocia came highly recommended, and it lived up to its reputation. Vibrant atmosphere, fabulous selection, and the food was excellent! They managed and served our party of 9 with ease.

We chose this restaurant (myself and my daughter) to have a quick bite to eat before an event at Pryzm. The service here was perfect; friendly & efficient. The food was delicious too (Beyti Sarma & Zencefilli Tavuk). It is the ideal place to stop for pre-event food and drinks as it's opposite the train station and just around the corner from Pryzm. Thoroughly recommend it & will return if we venture this far again to attend another event.

This place is amazing, the service is so electric you’ll forget you’re in London. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is buzzing. You should ask for Maria if you come here, she is a delight! 10/10, zero faults, best Turkish outside of Istanbul.

The food is absolutely outstanding and you get plenty and I’m a big guy and a big eater so I should know. Next time we come we will order 1 kebab and mezze to go with it. Hass and his team are amazing and a credit to the industry. My only issue is I have to come to London from West Yorkshire to experience this amazing flavour. Il be back next time I come to see my sister in Teddington.

I very much enjoyed my lunch at the Kingston location of Cappadocia; the food was wonderful, the staff were friendly, I had a nice chat with a senior staff member named Hass, and you could see that the other patrons were thoroughly enjoying their food. It's a lovely location, a large venue, very clean, plenty of space and comfortable seating. I'm already making plans to return with more friends.

Amazingly delicious food. Super friendly service. We had late lunch so the restaurant was not crowded but there was still a lovely vibe. We were just visiting but would most definitely go again if in the area.

Well what can I say. We walked to the restaurant from the cattle market car park and as we turned a corner you could smell the food, really inviting! As we walked into the restaurant it was really full of diners which is always a good sign, especially when a lot of the diners were Turkish. We were served by a waiter called Ali who was absolutely amazing. We were there for my birthday and he bought out my dessert with a candle in it. Happy birthday was played and everyone cheered which was a nice touch. Ali really couldn't do enough for us and he was also serving other diners with the same level of enthusiasm. The food was more than on par and the portions big. We will definitely be going back and I can't recommend Cappadocia enough. Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself. Go now and tell me it wasn't as good as I say it was!

Very happy. We visited as a group of 7 and were served quickly and the food was very good. Our waiter Mustafa was very attentive and efficient. Been here many times before and always leave satisfied.

We visited Cappadocia Restaurant on a Friday evening without a reservation. Fortunately, we were able to get a table with only a short wait. We ordered the mixed grilled meats, Turkish manti dumplings, lahmacun, and more. All the dishes were served in generous portions, beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. We were fortunate to be looked after by Ali, who ensured we were happy with everything and made us feel the warmth of true Turkish hospitality. It was a fantastic evening with family, and I’ll certainly be returning to Cappadocia Restaurant.

We popped in for lunch and were really impressed by the quality of the food. The set lunch is a bargain and we both loved the lamb wrap and halloumi avocado salad. The staff are very friendly and Rahim looked after us really well. Highly recommended

As a Turk, I can confidently say this is the best Turkish food I've had outside of Turkey. We came here for a family dinner, and Hass and the team made the experience truly memorable. The food was not only authentic but also served in huge portions. The mixed grill is a must-try—each piece of meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavour. This restaurant showcases Turkish cuisine at its finest, and the meal was perfectly rounded off with delicious desserts and traditional Turkish tea. A big thank you to Hass for delivering the warm and welcoming service that Turkish hospitality is known for. I can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely place with amazing food. Me and my friend were dining today in Cappadocia and we were impressed with the quality of the food. She had the salmon and I ate chicken. Good service and a decent menu selection. The lentil soup was delicious, as was the meat, but the vegetable dishes were oily, especially the artichoke. It was a nice touch to be treated to some Turkish delight at the end. They have a window where they make shawarma for takeaway.

We went to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday, Manager Rahim welcomed us as always with the smile, he made sure my daughter gets the cake with the candle and together were singing Happy Birthday. The waiter Mustafa was looking after us very well, was very helpful and friendly. The food absolutely delicious as per usual (thank you to the chef!!) we always coming back here every time we in Kingston. Warm atmosphere, comfortable, friendly, welcoming. Most of our group writes for Vice UK or another food blog and fortunately for Cappadocia, it was a good thing this was an off-duty visit. I desperately tried to cling onto only giving this place a 2 star review as I hate one stars because one star stands for 'don't do it - truly forgettable experience' especially since the place is packed and so is the takeaway section of it next door, it's clear the place is popular in Kingston; but maybe it's also because people don't know any better. The servers are moderately friendly, but only at points. Service is efficient at times, but sometimes too thorough. Tables are wiped down between courses and cutlery/crockery replaced. Unfortunately the service is also part of the problem. We ordered two of the chef special - a Testi. Which is a stew usually cooked in clay pottery. The menu describes it as being flamed table side, you order it for the spectacle. Unfortunately, it was delivered with little enthusiasm and the first one wasn't even on fire. Although the second one was and the table next to ours definitely thought it was interesting. Unfortunately every part of the stew was nuked to death and flavorless. For 23 pounds it was really a disappointment. The price is not the issue, my usual place is Turquoise Kitchen in Pinner where prices are similar, but they put far more effort into their food. Our starters were delivered with two baskets of bread, which were barely touched for the starter but we had plans for it for our mains, however at the end of our starters the serving staff took our bread away for no explanatory reason; likely destined for the bin as you can't re-serve it to another guest - what a waste. Considering we ordered two stews, that was the plan the bread. The sad irony here is if we were to order two portions of bread; we would have been charged for it yet they threw away the bread given for free with our starters. Notwithstanding, there was a large 16-top table in front of us. One of the ladies had a see-through outfit and was constantly in my peripheral vision and frankly, no one wants to see someones underwear and bum when having their dinner. In most establishments you'd be told to put your jacket back on or thrown out; yet this was seemingly acceptable here in a restaurant full of guests. We were hoping maybe - just maybe - the tea would save the night. Unfortunately the tea arrived with sachets of Tate and Lyle sugar and no Kitlama sugar. What a shame for a Turkish restaurant! The website describes Kappadocia as an authentic Turkish restaurant, but there was nothing authentic of what we experienced today and unfortunately at no point where we asked for feedback, but we noticed other tables were. Unfortunately our group wouldn't return here, even if VICE paid us to come and review it on the books! Worth mentioning the review before mine (by Eli) - is from our same 5-top. So make of this what you will (and some semblance of our lack of bias and differing opinions and tastes, I can verify he definitely enjoyed his mixed grill). Food tasted great and the portions were very generous. Went on a Saturday evening so it was very busy. The service was relatively fast considering how many people there were! Great if you like lively/busy atmosphere.

Very very very good place to eat Turkish foods. The portions are the biggest portions which I have ever seen, the waiters are very polite. And you should taste the İskender because they cook it better than other restaurants which in Istanbul.

T bone steak on Wednesday night is a MUST TRY. One minor thing, the smoke from the semi-open kitchen made my coat smell like grilled.

I took my wife today for her birthday … I must say the restaurant is worth every penny. The service from Haci ( Manager) was exceptional.. he went above and beyond to make sure we are happy with the service . He’s a good guy ! I will definitely return very soon !
