Overpriced for what tasted like burnt coffee.

Have been in here before some time ago, on this visit I noticed it was looking very tired, plus a horrible greasy smell. There were 2 people in there running round and working very hard, plus they were very pleasant. I had a cream tea, it was excellent my friend a huge baked potato also very good.

Used this as we were on the Dotto train that goes round The Orme! Having said that when I visit Llandudno for a weekend I often pop in here. It's nice to support them and always a nice coffee! Great views on a nice day looking over the wall.....and always the sheep to say hello to by there!

Dropped in for a quick lunchtime bite with the family. Ordered two sandwiches, muffin breakfast and waffles. The food was good, service very good but the dining room was cosy and after we arrived a large group arrived and took over pushing us into the corner and making us feel uncomfortable.

What can I say, well let's start by the initial experience. Upon entering the cafe through a forced maze of barriers that makes you feel like your in Ikea, you enter the butchers and then the newly developed cafe. The service from the waiters / waitresses was impeccable, I cant fault that however the food was so unpalatable we left most of it. My daughter ordered the pasta and all you could taste was chilli water with pasta mixed in. Honestly, it was the worst pasta dish we have tried and we actually left without her eating it. Just look at my picture, swimming in water! My burger was the worst burger I have ever tried. It must have been cooked using a blowtorch as it was burnt to a cinder and took an unpleasant minute trying to chew through one bite. I'm guessing they are oven cooked by their dryness ( just look at the picture, the middle was slightly softer than the outside ) and it was covered in some kind of vile salsa. In addition, the food was stone cold so I'm guessing it was under the heat lamp for a while. The only dish which seemed half eddibe was the fishcakes, but that's it. There is no chance we will eat here again, it's a disappointing waste of money. In addition, if you are thinking of buying anything in the delicatessen, be prepared for an enforced walk through the entire store, through another building and to the tills. On the flip side, you will get plenty of steps in!! Thanks for the horrendous afternoon.

Ordered lasagna, I asked if I could have chips instead of jacket potato but refused. I ordered a portion of chips as an extra but came 10min after the main meal. Jacket potato was hard and cold, lasagna had very little meat and the taste and feel of flour overpowered everything else. My mother had Ham, egg and chips, ham and egg were nice but chips were cold. The ladies who carried the food to us were very nice.

Went there with wife after shopping for cup of coffee and something to eat..ordered 2 slices of fried bread (asked for thin or normal sized bread ,but was told only thick bread available..ii found that quite amazing for a supermarket ) wife had bowl of chips which were almost cold and looked anything but appetizing ....the fried bread was absolutely dripping(excuse the pun) with grease,so much so that picking a piece up left me with grease running down my wrist ..neither of us ate what we ordered to put it mildly it was just pigslop and thats being kind...dirty cups ,uncleared tables didnt help. if theres a worse cafe around i sincerely hope i dont find it.....-10 out of 10

Disappointing, overall. The food was very overpriced and not as described - we ordered the carrot and coriander soup, which was definitely actually tomato - and the table was dirty. The very young staff all seemed to be doing work experience, and none of them wanted to be there. It took three attempts to get our table cleaned, and the girl taking our food order was completely disinterested. This was a real shame, and to me it suggests a management problem - you can't just hire teenagers and expect them to do the full workload of wait staff. The ambience was also really weird. It felt like a school canteen. The decor is very unappealing, feeling more like a leisure centre than a cafe. This place is definitely coasting on being the nearest cafe to the carpark, and one of the few cafes to be open after 4pm. I honestly recommend just bringing a flask of tea in your car and a packet of sandwiches.

Absolutely appalling service, you stand in a queue then they can’t take an order for lunch 5 minutes before 12 o clock even when I said we were willing to wait for the food until after 12. No flexibility or understanding, last visit I will make to eat here

Hilary, who is disabled, and I were staying locally in our caravan (not for the first time). A very good friend of our drove over from Sheffield and we decided to go out for Sunday lunch. We went into Bala and parked outside Sospan Fach (that we had been happy to use on a previous visit). We had a drink each, Sunday Roast (Pork), Scampi Chips and Salad and a Ham Ploughmans. All well cooked and presented, tasty, plentiful and served with a smile. We were sitting chatting about to leave when the lady brought the Sweet Menu so we had Berry Pancakes and Cream, Eton Mess and Sherry Trifle. I paid and was more than happy with the cost for three of us to have had an enjoyable meal. I cannot understand the low score and might have to try some of the other places in Bala to see how wonderful they are to have scored higher! Then again I might stick to where I have been well catered for in the past and again today. Keep up the good work.

Overall nice restaurant. For a garden center restaurant. The quality of ingredients were good Wife had a soup of the day and I had a roast beef Sunday lunch. Overall reasonable value but I take umbridge at the ridiculously small amount of gravy.Especially as the first question asked when I ordered was do I want to purchase an extra Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Please stop profiteering.Provide enough gravy .Change the price of needs be but don't make me pay extra for what should be provided in the price of the meal.Soup was very nice and overall not bad value .for garden centre prices.

Starbucks is very overrated. The coffees are very expensive and very average. I feel like the coffee they actually put in their drinks are Substantially less than they used to. Starbucks was always a good call for coffee. I don’t think I’ll bother going in there again disappointed.
